i don't think the guy should be put under moderation.. i believe he should be allowed to speak his peace...so that we can at least logically cut up his arguments down one by one... i am 100 per cent sure that he is dead wrong about kp gill....we all know that kp gill is no real sikh..and has 24/7 protection....what he doesn't know is that he won't have that protection from jums...jums that will take him feast on his soul once he dies...in fact...i'm sure his existance even now is of hell...just cuz he may have a nice house provided by the government, bodyguards, whatnot...he can't be at peace....knowning that he killed a whole generation of sikhs..

i suggest you people take a look at amritpal singh's website...he's done a lot of research into the myth that blue bana is the sikhi bana...and has come up with some interesting conclusions...might require you lot to expand your minds a little though...

someone said something interesting...that we need to be distinguished as possible..thus wear a keski... my question is...what's more important?.the distinguished look or the distinguished jeevan?... i know girls who are amritdhari (just don't wear a keski) who keep a rehit soo strict, that would make most other people feel like crap....i know i'm always humbled when i meet them... one of the MOST spiritual GURMUKHS i've ever met in my life was a woman who didn't wear a keski...yet by doing sangat with her, i myself as well as others were inspired to walk the path of gursikhi... whether someone wears a keski or not, is not of importance...i mean...i support girls who wear keskis...and i support those who don't...the rehit doens't require it (the panthic rehit..not talking about individual groups) if some people believe it's a must...then by all means wear one...but DO NOT look down on those who don't wear one...that's just egotistical and stupid...i konw some groups don't allow girls without keski to do kirtan...which is pretty lame...cuz if they are amrithdhari and are adhering to teh rehit as outlined by akal takt..then they should be granted that seva as well.... but more than keski wearing or not, we should all focus on SIMRAN, NITNEM, SEVA, Sangat... as bhai vir singh ji used to repeat time and time again in his books...sikhi is about : naam japna, Kirat karni, Vand Chaknaa i'm an avid reader of books by bhai vir singh ji, prof puran singh ji, bhai jaswant singh ji (bauji)...bhai sher singh ji, bhai raghbir singh ji...none of these gurmukhs talk about keski or not....so it must not be such a big issue as we all make it to be...

question is...how are all these dates gonna change our lives?? it's one thing to remember them...it's another thing to be inspired and start living the jeevans that would truly hounour the memory...

i don't agree with playing the HOMELESS card... i mean..i'm a canadian...i was born here...raised here..i contribut to canadian societ just as much if not more than others...this is my HOME... sure..there may be some inequalities and unfairness...but that is something we have to FIGHT...noone will kick us out...for fighting... the ONLY problem i see right now that could get in our way of getting our rights is if MODERATE SIKHS...the sikhs who don't follow rehit...but love commenting on those that do...if they start opening up their mouths to the media and saying stuff like...maybe the kirpan isn't needed...or offereing alternatives...that's what will be our biggest obstacle...i feel...what do you guys think?

dear moorakh... all those respective jathas are fee to have their maryadas...and i believe they all have valid maryadas FOR THEMSELVES... but since as you have said there is no panthic maryada...even though the sgpc one was made with people from a variety of jathas... then there is no panthic rules...so then it is definitely not a universal rule... i'm not saying anyone is right or wrong..but you cannot say it's a RULE...cuz it's not a rule followed by the whole panth...

bijla singh i thank you for your post...i believe you have expressed the sentiments of MKLQ in a way that has made me understand where you guys are coming from... i know i've spoken harshly..i apologize for that... my question remains though...if we alienate the PM...what is that going to accomplish...i believe that educated western sikhs will have more influence on him...and we have to use that to our advantage..we need to finish our schooling..become professionals and use that arena to talk and meet wiht the PM and that way we can discuss the issues that need to be discussed and acted upon.. if we just sit here and criticise the guy all the time...nothing positive is going to happen... that's my take on it..
