  1. Gurfateh If you want to lean this art go to India and stay at Buddha Dal - who will confirm they have no affliation with nidar and will be able to tell you a few home truths about this "gurdev". Why learn off someone who during his classes swears openly, tells dirty jokes and promotes hindu mat. We should be ashamed we are letting him get so much publicity.
  2. Gurfateh Jee.. Why is it that so many people judge judge .. ohi forgot that DEYA is not a part of Sikhi and we should NOT try and make people understand though pyaar, instead people come onto a forum like this to put down a whole organisation because they think one person or 'moni' (which is term i dnt like to use) is running a show... Where you have a problem, please address it with the main sevadaars in the midlands.. or contact them on the numbers and details provided... If somebody is dating or cutting their kes, you cannot just ban them from doing seva.. if they are preaching in the talks then it is wrong i agree, and in which case you should take it up with the individual or other sevadaars. They are not yet a t a level where they understand this is wrong, or thy do not have the himmat to give it up yet... in this dark dark era of kaljug, we shold be grateful of ANYONE coming to do seva, and just hope hat doing the seva will change their views....Having a 'moni' (ur term, not mine) in the forefront helps people who are not yet gursikh to feel able to attend an event or forum. i remeber we used the same policy at uni sikh soc, we had a non gursikh girl at the front pulling people in and it worked, once they were in we had the chance to learn together about sikhi... How do you know that the sevadaar you have a problem with doesn't do ardass to maharaj to make her stronger?? How do you know that her seva dusnt count more than yours?? We are NOTHING.. but we like to pick pick pick at others peoples avgun, without looking within ourselves... Hum avgun parer ek gun nahee, so taking this in mind, lets bring ourselves down a peg ot two and look at others with nimartha.. i dnt know who your talking about or what the problem with her is, but i think instead of trying to slam a whole organisation down on the internet, you should have taken it up using the contact details provded.. Remember 1 DEYA 2 DHARAM 3 HIMMAT 4 MOHKAM 5 SAHIB Before everthing maharaj gave us deya, lets try and use it.. Bhul Chuk maaf, foereer in sangats charan Gurfateh Parvaan karni
  3. Gurfateh.. Just to let sangat know, incase you hadn't already heard that Maatha Preetam Kaur, Sant Jarnail Singh Ji's singhnee passed away yesterday.. Gurfateh
  4. Gurfateh! I have heard that Parmjit Singhs daughter is a good speaker, and will be good if we can attend the forum and show our support for her dad too!
  5. Gurfateh.. My benti: 1) STOP SPECULATING about things you do not know 2) If you knew the facts you would realise this is not a simple conversion case 3) IF ANYONE WANTS TO HELP IN ANY WAY... do ardaas in the charan of Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib Maharaj, and pray that the mare karam that have surfaced be arased from her lekh 4) Gupt singhnee: you do not know the bibi involved, instead of taking the attidude "i dont care" do ardaas for her, and hope that Maharaj brings her back. You also stated that you would die before you converted to another religion. I apologise to inform you that NOTHING is in your hands, one minute we may think we are the most chardi kala gursikhs, that maharaj is the centre of our lives, and the next we may also have to deal with mare karam from our pishle lekh... we have no control over anything. I assure you this girl would never have dreamt of converting, but in the face of Akaal Purakhs hukam anything can happen, we are NOTHING, WORTHLESS MOORAKHS who should do desperate ardaasa to Maharaj to never let us go. So it is my heartfelty benti to EVERYONE here to do ardaas and Bani for this bibi (IF you wnt to help) and equally for ourselves that maharaj also cut our own mare karam and keep us attached to his CHARAN.. Gurfateh Jee
  6. Gurfateh! My dear brothers, ak47 mascot and dhadhi sahib, aka pomp machines... i apologise for not making chocoloate cake, i will make some for the next program, however i wish to highlight that some of these singhs can do without MORE cake... no names mentioned.. some of these gursikh pyaare have yet to get married, and i think excessive amounts of chocolate cake will not help their situation! But i will be sure, that as soon as i hear wind of a rista, i will post the recipe online for all budding singhnees to be to get full training, to serve their pathee parmesars with unlimited spongy chocolate cake... "Thorraa savna, kaavna, thorraa bolan gurmath paeeye" Gurfateh
  7. Gurfateh, With Maharaj's apaar kirpa, the program went really well... the amount raised for Comic Relief was approx just over £1000, thanks to the fundraising done Bham City Centre on the afternoon lol! Well done everyone, and thanks to everyone for supporting, helping to organise and attending the program! Vaheguru.. Gurfateh!
  8. Look i dunno who u r! but if u r YOU, u know u gna get next thump from me.. joker... CAN we please stay on topic... i dont care if 84 survivor comes or not, or cnt tie his dastaar to save his life, or if he likes starburst (",) or even if he does live in the new age smethwick now known as 'nuneaton', or turns up with a RED NOSE on the day... can we just talk about the program... is that too much to ask!!!! GURFATEH
  9. Dnt come, nobody forcing you to come and check out the "pomp", people work hard to make a program work, then people like you just come on to add his/her negative view. Nobody knows if its gona be good or not, thats in Maharaj's hands not any of the organisers, so do us a favour, keep your negative comments to urself, and if you want to go then go to the program, if not stay home and watch eastenders
  10. Gurfateh If there is need for Bibeki Langar, please contact the commitee this week, and request if it can be available. However, those wishing for Bibeki Langar will have to organise a group to make this themselves, and im sure other sangat will help. Im not sure how responsive the committee will be to the request, but if you want it, then by all means try, if not eat loads b4 you come to keep you going through the night! Coz theres alot of kirtannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn! The whole diwan should be really good, so advertise to all to attend and get laha of sangat.. KALJUG MEH KIRTAN PARDHANA And Bhai Niranjan Singh definately coming Gurfateh!
  11. Gurfateh Ji! There is a group that has been set up in the Midlands, for sikh sisters to come together, for debate, discussion, share knowledge, awareness raising etc called KAURAGEOUS.. see www.kaurageous.com This issue of muslim conversions is being addressed as part of their International Womens Week THIS WEEK (5-9th march 2007), they have made a week long programme of events, the poster can be seen on their website, and is also a sticky in fun/global events section. The talk will be delivered tomorrow (tuesday 6th march at 6pm, GNG smethwick, hall 1) called WAKE UP CALL. Its going to be quite hard hitting from what ive heard, so the facilities and groups have been set up, its a matter of who can be bothered to find out the dangers we face as sikh women. PLEASE FORWARD the message about the talk tomorrow and urge sisters to attend.. Gurfateh!
  12. Gurfateh! This is a benti to all my sisters out there, especially those living in the Midlands where Kaurageous are operating and holding their International Womens Week, this is an opportunity to come together and do seva and facilitate events. Its our duty as women of the Sikh panth to become stronger and do parchaar actively not read something on the inetrnet and think "good for them but i can't make it." This is HAPPENING NEXT WEEK, and its HAPPENING in BIRMINGHAM. Those who can make it should make every effort to go to the talks and seva events and come together as a unit. One of the Kaurageous sevadaars said the talk on Tuesday "WAKE UP CALL" is going to be a hard hitting truth revealer of the DANGERS facing us as Sikh girls and women in today's society. I think the second talk at Aston should be as good, hopefully if i make it! The SEVA CLEAN UP, when i asked, is apparently doing seva at Baba Sang Gurdwara, and bibia have been told to bring an item thy can do some cleaning with! e.g. bleach, cloths, flash, fairy, shake and vac LOL LOL that should be funny, especially trying to see any singhs trying to do abit of hard work! and then all ive been told about the shabeel is that its happening on Soho Road 1pm onwards, even though as a helper i have been asked to get there 12:30, so anyone else wanting to help seeyou there same time lol.. Dhan Dhan MATA KHIVI JEE, May we aspire to live up to your example of selfless seva and humilty as daughters of Guru Ji. This is such a wicked opportunity to put us on the map and capable of doing such things, so it is my humble benti (if the Kaurageous sevadaars dont mind) TO ATTEND and SHOW OUR FULL SUPPORT in this week long of events.... the poster is on their webste, well it was last time i checked, if anyone wants to see it! Anyway im off to get my bottle of bleach and packet of dusters... let me know if anyones needs any! LOL :TH: Gurfateh! SEEYOU ALL THERE NEXT WEEK
