However i noticed there is no mention of idol in the original version but it only says saalagiraam... so is that an idol? And is that saying we are allowed to idol worship? WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHGUUR JI KI FATEH Just want to exapnd on what the paaji above mentioned about the point made about Raam... the Raam that the Siri Guru Granth Sahib ji talks about is not the Hindu deity Ram ji. I think Raam was the name for God in the olden days (formless God... without any form or shape... Just as the oldest Hindu scripture, the Vedas mentions God is formless who has no form). However when the Hindu deity Ram ji was born... Hindu's used this name to refer to this deity... hence why the Hindu's dont use this name for the formless God no more... because it got associated with the Ram diety. Now about the point about Raam and it being a arabic word... this is an interesting point because its actually pronouced RAHM (if im not mistaken) this is God's name in arabic... which means where we all come from i.e. meaning place of ORIGIN. About braces i dont know... taht is changing your appearance... but if you try to think of in a different way... the teeth that God gave you is still the same... but they are just arranged slightly different when you wear braces. (we all live together) and i was sat there crying and praying to God to forgive us all for all of our sins... and i still remember the fear that i had... that fear is the fear of all of us not being religious and its too late and there will be no chance given again to us. Does anyone know the meaning to this... and i still have that fear today because looking around all over all that is happening is sin... i know the Lord is the most merciful... but i still fear... what if were taking advantage of this... what if we die living in sin? Yeah like the bro's/ sis's mentioned Guru ji was recognised as a Muslim's faqir and a Hindu's Guru (but why we call Guru ji Guru has a deeper meaning). I think non-Muslims allowed to go to Mecca... but i think that law came in to prevent the recapture of Mecca... however im not sure in that. And yeah Guru ji said 'im neither Muslim nor Hindu' so any argument that he was any these is basless. I think 90% of Pak/Bang/Indian Muslims have their origins to the Muslim invaders of India. And the rest will be converts from most of our Hindu ansestors. And some Muslims claim Guru ji was a Muslim because of the Amhemdiat leader had claimed Guru ji was a Muslim (however Amhediya's are considered non- Muslims in Pakistan etc now)... anyways... if anyone claims that Guru ji was theres.... who are we to say no to them that he wasnt theres... because Guru ji was everyones... however if anyone want to claim Guru ji was a Muslim or a Hindu... the proof is there in Guru ji's above quote that i had given. The reason for this is because most Sikhs dont even have much knowledge about Sikhi.... so why would they want to defend Khalistan? Why would they want to defend Sikhs... when some Sikhs are even under the impression that they are Hindus! like the paaji/penji said above why dont we concentrate on problems faced by majority of the Sikhs. If we keep on concentrating on Khalistan instead of facing problems such as 'Sikhs' killing girls, then surely what kind of Khalistan will that be if the ppl arnt even Khalis? Why dont we try to educate Sikhs about Sikhi... then Panjab itself will become Khalistan... full with true Sikhs and if our rights are not met then still then we can fight for Khalistan. WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH Ive been noticing that we as Sikhs are simular to Jews in alot of ways... i.e. Jews and Sikhs being minorities... The Jews Temple being destroyed and only one wall is standing now (its in Isreal... the most sacred Synagogue to Jews in the world... i think its called Temple Mount where i think, they believe the messiah will come at that place)... and the Golden Temple being attacked in 1984 and being invaded by Afghan rulers twice i think... Jews being murdered in the holocost... Sikhs being murdered in India in 1984... The difference between us that Jews have Isreal... and Sikhs no own country... The thing i was thinking is that Jews established Isreal by migrating back to Palestine next to there religious shrines... and establishing settlments where ever they could... and they have loads of children each about 5, 6 or 7 children each... The reason for me posting this is to pose the question and looking back in history at the Jews, Could this be our only way of achieving Khalistan by establishing settlements all over where our proposed Khalistan is and having loads of children? But then again i think it really could be the 9th imam's tomb... coz of the evidence of where the name etc comes from... i think it can be a good thing... coz in a way Panjab has already got religious significance... for the Sikhs, Hindus, and Bhudhists and Jains (i think) and if its got religious significance for Muslims thats kool too... but one thing which is kind of annoying is the point mentioned in the earlier post that if Muslims can be transferred to there to look after the upkeep... then why cant Sikhs be transferred to Afghanistan, Pakistan etc where the Sikh shrines are, for there upkeep? Afterall them shrines are also have significance for Sikhs. But then again the transfer of Muslims may lead to arguments between the ppl in the area... since it may not feel the same again and the local community may feel there land is getting invaded... if that makes sense lol.
