Well I live in the UK and there are A LOT of Sikhs around here and stuff something has been bugging me as in my school there are lots of Sikh kids wearing dummalle, they just wear it for the name 'badman' why are so many people just putting on a dastaar so they can be 'cool' and be a 'don' ? Some are even amritdharis and they swear, talk about others, gossip, no manners and stuff. Lots of them are even dating and then they act so religeous in their facebook photos and keep talking about AKJ they only like AKJ because they think its all about bashing tablas. I have no idea why they even took amrit because they dont give a flying fish about Sikhi. Does this only happen in London?? Its so annoying and makes me angry.. bul chuk maaf.

I know some afghan sikhs and I see them putting bindis on the new born babies forhead and they go to the gurudwara like that! lots of them do this candle thing and they believe it will give them good luck or something. The candle in the middle represents god and you put candles around tht to represent your family members.. I dont get it. Some go to the mandir aswell, especially if someone has chickenpox they go and pray there and they think it helps! so many sikhs are still selling those cards with Guru nanak dev ji and bibi nanaki tying rakhris on eachother and a plate of ladoos so many people are tying these threads and taking money. I told this guy that rakhri is not for sikhs and he is like ''OMG NO GURU NANAK DEV JI TOLD US 2 DO IT!!''

My family is really messy and stuff and its always me cleaning up after them. When I ask my sister or so if she could clear her mess she says ''if you are so concerned, why don't you go do it'' its the same with my parents. I have to tidy all the rooms in the house otherwise it would be a complete pigsty. My dad praises me for doing this but he doesn't ever at least do his bed or move his chapla outside. Don't even get me started on my sister... How can I get them to at least do their beds? Our house is a tip and it looks horrible. I am also a guy is this weird for a guy to be clean??

There is a Guru Nanak Academy for High school students in Smethwick and there is a Nishkam High on Soho Road. There is also a new primary school named Anand Primary which is gonna open in Wolverhampton next year or so.

I have thick hair too but mine is falling out really quickly and Im under 16! Dont tie your joora tight, do it nice and alright, not too loose nor tight. I sometimes get that horrible stran thing its so annoying and it hurts a lot. Try loosening that stran where it starts to hurt and when you are washing your hair where it hurts you could like do it carefully there or like you said massage your scalp with that oil
