  1. B 'Darshan Daas follower'1 Jee, That is true, but the physical form of a Sant that is referred to in Gurbani at times is the one who enlightens people to follow Gurmat, receive Amrit and reiterate the name of Vaheguroo. A Sant is one that attaches a being to worship the one Akaal Purakh and accept Sahib Sree Guroo Granth Sahib Jee Maharaaj as their one and only master, the living SathGuroo, not attach any person to their own feet and to worship them. Someone who labels themselves as a Sant, distorts Sikhi and attaches people to their own feet to be worshiped, is not any Sant in Sikhi, but a Gudhaar Pappee of the Panth! These organisations and those who head them are not faiths or “ways of living” (what Radha Soami's claim), but cults funded and supported by enemies of the Panth. Please do not cause confusion and misunderstanding by trying to compare a Manmukh self-proclaimed “SathGuroo” to Vaheguroo Dhe Pyare Sant Mahapurkhs of the Sikh Panth. Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!!
  2. Was that some sort of joke? As it was not funny in any way whatsoever! Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!!
  3. Ten days countdown to the European Lobby Day! If only my Public Law exam was not the 31st  _oh_OLD: Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!!
  4. It's really good to hear of the Sewa of the Panth Baba Jee are doing through their Mahaan Parchaar and that all the diwaans are going really well. We should all take some time out of our busy lives and schedules and take Laha of this time to listen to the inspirational diwaans of Gurmat Veecharan. May Vaheguroo keep Sant Baba Baljit Singh Jee Khalsa in Chardee Kalaa so they continue this line of parchaar. Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!!
  5. 'Nanaksar.org' Jee, Was there not also the "Guroo Hargobind Khalsa College" that opened towards 'Perton' way in West Midlands I think? Its very good and excellent to hear that Mr. R. S. Sandhu was invited though! Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!!
  6. Guroo Nanak Gurdwara, Sedgley Street, Wolverhampton has got the posters up around the GurooGhar. Tomorrow, Sunday 21st May, the sangat will be briefed about the event in some detail. It is likely that a representative from the Sikh Federation (UK) may also be addressing the sangat on stage about the Panthic Event. Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!! I think Bhai Amrik Singh will be addressing the Sangat. Also, purchased the official DVD of 'Sikhs In The Square' Nov '05 today and watched it. What can I speak, it is exceptionally brilliant. Everyone MUST buy it, worth every pence of the little £5 that will go towards the campaign anyway. It has been profesionally edited so that it not just a simple and basic video of the event, but a dramatic account of the whole episode. When shown in the Gurdwara's in the remaining weeks now leading to the event, it will without doubt have a fine impact on the Sangat to realise the importance and significance of these Panthic events. A must buy and a collectors piece for all Sikhs! Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!!

  9. Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!! Details of the event in Panjabi..... "Europe Sikh Lobby Day 31 May Noo Hovega - Sikh Federation UK" (ARTICLE SOURCE: Awaze Qaum International - 17th May 2006 - Issue 1025 - Page 5) Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!!
  10. It is best to contact your local Gurdwara for information about transport. Alternatively, email info@campaign84.org if you wish to directly speak to some of the organisers for the event in Trafalgar Square or email sikhfederationuk@yahoo.co.uk as it appears to be the only organisation that is part of the Federation of Sikh Organisations (FSO) that has been active locally and nationaly in ensuring the event is a success. Very true. I can't remember the exact numbers and facts etc, but in one of Sant Baba Jarnail Singh Jee Khalsa Bhindranwale Jee's speeches, Sant Jee states that if a follower of the Hindoo faith, who have given only a small percentage of Kurbaniya and Martyrdom for the Independence of India can keep 230 grenades unlicensed, (i.e. Pawan Kumar), then in comparison, a follower of the Sikh faith who have given a very large percentage of Kurbaniya and Martydom for the Independence of India have the right to keep a substantial number more. Does not link directly with this (oh well, some inspiration from Sant Jee anyway), but considering the obvious immense sole effort by the Sikh Federation (UK) in the organisation and success of this event, I hope the Panjabi stage at Hyde Park is not "hijacked" in anyway by other organisations that will "claim" to be "organisers". Daas looks forward to speeches at Hyde Park from Mahaan Panthic leaders such as Bhai Amrik Singh Jee. Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!!
  11. At the Baisakhi Nagar Kirtan in Sydney, Australia.......... Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!!
  12. I think the fact that you called our living GuruJI a Book shows, how much of a sikh you are!!!!!! Also reffering to Sahib Sree Guroo Granth Sahib Jee Maharaj as just "Granth Sahib"!!!
  13. yup you're totally right Kurtas ji, there is a Gurdwara right near the park, it would be ideal to end the nagar kirtan there; to see the organisers of this event in all their glory please see front cover of this week's 'awaze quam'; they talk about waking the youth up maybe it's time they did too! Waking the youth up. Appears to me that the organisers need waking and help to understand that commerce does not take precedence over Sikhi & its teachings and more importantly they should stop the beadbi. Awaze Quam is always touted as a panthic paper so why are they giving the time of day to these organisers who not only do beadbi but allow people who follow a human Sat-Guru to have food stalls at the mela ? I suppose their office is not too far from the mela and it gives them a chance to get out and have samosa and barfi. MS Nijjar Ji, you appear to have links to the Sikh Council in Wolverhampton can you please ask them why these Namdharis are allowed a stall every year and what steps they going to take to stop the beadbi. Veer Jee, I do not have any direct connections with the Council of Gurdwaras (Wolverhampton) but have an idea on how to get in touch with them, all sangat in Wolverhamton should do this. This 'Naamdhari issue' should be dealt with seriously and not just left on forums then forgotten (I never even knew they had such stalls : ). They should be informed and advised directly as they won't really find out from here, this is just to inform the sangat of whats going on who come on here. I'm sure the council will take note of suggestions for future events (Hopefully). Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!!
  14. Khalsa Jee, a 2006 visit to the United Kingdom by Sant Ranjit Singh Jee Khalsa Dhadrianwale is being planned. Watch the 'FUN l GLOBAL EVENTS l NEWS ARTICLES' section of 'SikhSangat.com' for a new topic on this tour in the near future. Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!!
  15. Just called up the GurooGhar in Sheffield and spoke to a committe member very politely. He said no Saroop of Sree Guroo Granth Sahib Jee Maharaj is going out to any Magna Hotel (He also said he hasn't heard of any Magna Hotel nearby) and they do not know of this wedding about to go ahead. He suggested that the wedding was probably being organised from another town and Maharaj being brought from a different Gurdwara. He spoke quite politely and was calm. Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!!
  16. Similar to the responses above, I got back a very quick reply (under 2 minutes lol) as follows: Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!!
  17. The Manmohan Waris 'wannabe' turned up in the mela towards the end walking around with his foolish looking clothes with a Khanda on the back. You could tell him and the people with him were the "dodgy" in the park, but that video was ridiculous. The Nagar Kirtan itself and the Sikhi tent, stalls, stage program etc at the park was very good (Jago Wale Singhan Da Jatha on stage was really good) and well organised. These fools dancing outside the Johal Supermarket and that pub, which is about a minutes walk from the Guroo Nanak Gurdwara Sahib, Sedley Street, should not be allowed to happen. I agree with Kurtas Veer that the Council of Gurdwaras should have a meeting with the police before these events take place for them to take strict action against such anti-panthic activity on the birth celebrations of the Khalsa Panth. Not too sure about the other councils, but the Council of Sikh Gurdwaras Wolverhampton will be informed and advised to talk to police on trouble makers like these in future Khalsa Panth Birth celebrations. Drinking alcohol in open public places, dancing then fighting and giving Sikhs a bad image is not a good thing and should be stopped. I don't think it is in place, but maybe the byelaw banning alcohol consumption should be introduced there or the local authorities to designate such certain areas known for anti-social drinking and nuisance attached to them. That will teach these fools a lesson when they get arrested. Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!!
  18. Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!! Photographs..... ....of the Virsa Sambaal Vishav Sikh Samelan held at Fatehghar Sahib on the 26th February 2006 are now available on the official website: www.VishavSikhSamelan.com There will also be DVD's available in the United Kingdom of the Samelan in the near future. Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!!
  19. _oh_OLD: ...not the "Kachi Bani" issue again and Dhaarnaa..... Here's the link to an audio clip posted on earlier topics on this issue by Sant Jee Dhadrianwale in a diwaan: No Bani is Kachi Please just accept the fact that some people not liking Dhaarnaa is not going to make Sant Jee stop doing the parchaar. Many Sant Mahapurkhs of the past did it, no one could stop them, many do it now, and many will do it in the future and the fact is that it looks like a small majority of people who 'despise' Dhaarnaa as a way of parchaar, is not going to stop anyone from carrying on! ...Now let's just leave this topic for information on the Australia visit and not go off-topic..... Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!! EDITED: Audio clip link from a different host as other link had problems loading.
  20. Have heard there was a huge Diwaan today where the sangat was able to sit together in a Marquee like that in the India Diwaans and an amazing atmosphere was created. The Diwaan was organised in Australian fields covering 33 acres of land to accommodate Guroo Sahib Jee's Sangat. Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!!
  21. Prem Jee, When has the International Sikh Youth Federation, that used to operate in the United Kingdom before it being banned as a "terrorist organisation", ever advocated the use of violence for political means? Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!!
