  1. i think i know what you mean regarding the keyboard shortcuts. here's a tip - if you ever need to switch between screens really fast you can press alt + tab (same time) and it will bring up a small box with icons of each screen that you have open. you can use this if you somehow lose the STTM slide navigation box
  2. anyone...? can admin plz unsticky this if sangat doesnt mind otherwise no one notices when a new reply is posted.
  3. could someone please post the original pictures of the pics of the singhs in this poster? needed urgently, especially bhai tajinder singh's.
  4. and i was just wondering: is it wrong to act out guru sahib's role in a skit that re-enacts something that happened in our history? just for the purpose of the camp - not for any sort of public showing.
  5. thanks all! i liked the game with the bricks and the one with balancing the bowl on a structure made from paper and other materials. is there any such game, such as building something or any sort of activity that would somehow tie in with sikhi? eg. building something thats hollow on the inside and demonstrating how easily it will break, showing how sikhi is not only an outer show.
  6. vaheguru ji ka khalsa vaheguru ji ki fateh hi i was looking for some ideas for activities at sikhi camps, and workshops in particular. not just discussion/lectures etc, but hands-on workshops that get the participants to do something that somehow metaphorically ties in with sikhi i'm not sure what these people are doing in these pics below, some explanation would be helpful. 7. for me the best solution is just tying guru sahib's baksee hoee dastaar. no chunni needed :TH:
  8. Every gurdwara in Vancouver? veerji Vancouver itself is not the place to visit for sangat. Take a trip to Surrey and you will run into many chardi kala Gursikhs at the gurdwaray. about the original question, if it's a choice between tapoban sahib and southall, i would definitely go for tapoban sahib - simply because i have heard many chardi kala gursikhs go there. Southall i have heard is a $17 million gurdwara sahib - and many say that money could have been better spent on other seva projects
  9. my dad knows that man. He goes to Nanaksar Gurdwara in Richmond but i dont think he's on the gurdwara committee. just a regular sevadaar there.
  10. hi all, i have a small request - sangat please be ready to take pictures or make videos to provide proof. could we have some more info please (place, times, etc)
