    There are many indicators that help to differentiate between Sikhs who don't keep rehat and Muslims, from inflection of language, facial features, body language, general demeanour, etc, it's all very basic to spot... if you're looking Im referring to this. You say the inflection of language, so the way pakis use is slang, so do some sikhs in southall. facial features yes you can tell differences, i.e mirpuris but not all the times, especially punjabis. Body language well pakis bought up in mainly ghettos and some sikhs still being bought up in ghettos like southall would be similar, very badboy type. So it can be easy to mistake a mona sikh from southall with a paki from slough etc. Just my experience and opinion, one apni just wouldnt believe I was sikh one time lol

    drink is the main problem. You see guys and girls going out and getting drunk and no one knows what happens. Why not say lets go out but we dont need to drink as a first step this would be good then atleast someone is aware of there surrondings and can track peoples tactics who want to groom

    thats sad thing to hear brother. dont get me wrong i feel sympathy when this happnes to young girls or if the guy does it so well but the q must be are these girls that stupid... I can tell difference between punjabi spoken in pakistan or pahari with punjabi. I can also tel from someones accent what sort of family they come from... It is again very sad but some of these girls need to be asked some serious questions cos when your going out with someone you ask them who there family is? brothers and sisters? whats there names.     ahh ok yeh your more knowledgeable than me about this. I know theres still a couple of old timers lurking around southall but most are sharabi or dead now. And yeh apnean always using the if boys can do it so can i excuse. You will never see paki gals doing this as they got respect and know their religion is everything. Shame about the paki girls tho would have been good to see few of them marry apneh, never too late tho lol

    one thing i dont get it is what happened to those dads and grandads who fought the skinheads back in the days. These are the same dads and grandads who dont mind their son or daughter marrying a non sikh now? compare this with pakis and bengalis who remember the skinheads even til this day and hold that grudge.

    fair enough brother. Tbh I have actually seen it but only in 2 nightclubs once when I went to a west london night club a club of years ago for a desi night, but i think they may have been sikh. Also once at herts uni again a desi night but that guy was defo some mirpuri guy or something. Apart from that I have never actually seen it.

    Yh from my experience Its not really about gloating as you wouldnt want to hurt the otherside i.e pakistanis.. And not always, sometimes its hard if you find someone after such a long time and they happen 2 be from another religion its very very hard to give it up. But i guess your right your not really religious if you do this in the first place, that is indeed very rare. Apneh families being weird about this is correct from personal experience lol One thing with apenh is they have normalised marrying outside of sikhi. they would prefer their 'jatt' son or daughter to marry a gorah, rather than he or she to marry another 'caste'. Sad sad times... this is actually worse in the pakistani/mirpuri communities who take caste more seriously. Until apneh dont go back to the 'basics of sikhi' this will continue until sikhs become 00.01% of the world population

    no one is exgagerating anything it does happen. Theres plenty of sikh bois that have muslim gfs just they dont gloat about it. In this case she ran away and with a sikh bf I doubt very much she still follows that faith.
