i would disagree with you AK-47, what the muslims have gone though and still do in the world, is of a much higher scale then what is going on for sikhs, btw, so many sikhs are targeted only because they are confused and thought to be muslims,

i been saying this kind of stuff since i first started writing on this forum, sikhi is in decline, in punjab, canada, the us,... in punjab theres even clubs now, amritsars full of hookers, drugs,... well other religions are doing so great like islam and christianity, are there atlest any individuals who refuse to sit on chairs, at our main gurdwara here, theres even been meat brought into the gurdwara, drink going on, on the property, people coming in with shoes, and the womens side, you can't even hear your self think, here its all commercialized i guess those singhs in the 80's died, so more sikhs can have parties,

only people with turbans(or uncut hair) should be allowed to have a say, does the nanaksar gurdwara there have chairs, i remember i went there a long time ago, and i don't think it had chairs, they should have extremists running all the gurdwaras,

paul_84, which city are you talking about, i live in calgary, and there were a few moderates trying to get chairs in the langar hall, but they got beat up during one of they're little speechs, and that was the end of it, in our gurdwaras here, we do have a few tables for the old people, but the only people using them are women, who come wearing an inch of make up, and sit on the chairs because they're too canadian to sit on the floor, it make be wanna cry
