Not just everyone become Khalsa but actually live a rehit life of a Khalsa. For example today's Khalsa is a very different Khalsa then of 200 years back where we had people like baba Maharaj Singh puratan shaheed who was 118 yrs old and still fought for Khalsa's rights and he said the day Sikhi decides to accept to live under slavery is the day Sikhi is doomed. Khalsa today including me should be working on our jeevan and help others stay on the Path of Gurus and then we will see people be automatically inspired by Khalsa to chak amrit. Indian Government Makes Committee to Analyze 1984 Sikh Victim Cases NEW DELHI, India (December 24, 2014)—On Tuesday the Indian government constituted a committee to look into various grievances of the 1984 Sikh pogrom victims. The statement said, “The ministry of home affairs has been receiving a large number of complaints from various individuals in the matter of 1984 ‘riots.’ The team will look into their grievances.” The committee consists of retired Supreme Court judge Justice G.P. Mathur as the chairman, and J.P. Aggarwal as joint secretary in the ministry as a member secretary. The statement also read that the committee would look over the usage of payment of enhanced indemnity of 5 lakh rupees for every person killed during the 1984 massacres as approved by the cabinet on December 10, 2014. The committee will also look further into the need for the Constitution of Special Investigation Team (SIT) for also investigating the 1984 massacre cases and submit their reports within three months. Very true. But then think about it if we did great parchar to villages and many youth start changing I think it would get a government response in my opinion. To me that would be great to see educated Gursikhs who want to become parchariks and turn villages around today as it is very much needed from threats like RSS and Christian missionaries. Johny made a good statement on Christian missionaries even though we don't they they are a big threat why is that only in Punjab they are making conversions easily happen. Sikh panth in Punjab are fighting over a calendar issue and Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa issue and so many issues that distract us from other issues that continue to bite us. Another thing to add is that these Christian Missionaries tell Sikhs to keep their turban and beards and still be Christian............mindblowing isn't it.

Moreover, I really want to see what statement they give out to us for all of us who voted. I'm glad we reached the 100,000 mark. They better give us something good.

We need fearless parchar that too says we need fearless parchariks to spread dharam of Sikhi in Punjab and get the youth back on track just like Jarnail Singh did in the 70's and 80's. SIkh panth is fighting alot of issues which is nothing new to us, but to have issues like these missionaries that act like snakes and biting us from the side makes us look weak. Its time to act. Certainly our Gurus were infallible. If someone has evident proof of Guru Gobind Singh using the term Bikrami as in reference to Bikrami Calendar then that can set this whole issue straight.(Some mentioned use of it in Choupai Sahib). Singhs in the 70's and 80's never mentioned calendar change or did they? It came up later on where the agencies have infiltrated our Sikh institutions and putting out anti-Sikh agenda ever since then. I feel like Punjabi Sikh media are flip-flopping on who is on what stance with what side making us all confused and fighting over a tiny issue compared to bigger Panthic problems. From my point of researching, RSS has the stance of Bikrami Calendar.

The more concerning question is why does RSS want it Sikhs to follow the Bikrami Calendar? Doesn't that concern anyone? It seems Akal Takht Jathedar, Akali Dal, SGPC, and RSS have the same stance on this issue while Jathedar Nandgardh is calling them out for trying to change it. We shouldn't jump to an conclusion on Jathedar Nandgardh's stance being totally wrong as he has proven to speak against beadbi/RSS in spite of SPGC and Badal. Also to point out I think its not because his stance on the calender issue is that he got his security taken away it was because of him speaking out against RSS and lately stating that Khalistan is the only solution. To me this jathedar isn't afraid of speaking but his stance on calendar issue is confusing.

Yes I found a video about Jathedar Gurdev Singh Kaunke. I was shocked that in 1986 he was able to be picked within all the indian government agents coming in and stopping Sikh activities here and there. Also he did massive parchar, and was well respected by most. Village Kaunke was special because it was visited by Guru Hargobind who did a bachan there that many diamonds will be born there. He sure was a bright diamond.
