so speaking the truth that Gurmukhs do not ascribe to Abrahamic thought patterns or standards of mistreaments of non-faith, other faith peoples and females is somehow wrong because it may offend the listener, all the charcha done by hundreds of years of parchaariks when being challenged by unknowledgeable sikhs and 'knowledgeable' people of other faiths was wrong ??? honestly , I think that is the sheep mentality that is drowning our people in Punjab snap out of it. why are you so racist, did you fall on your head or something? The truth is there will always be racists in the different race groups , growing up in the east end of London we South Asians became the meat in the racist sandwich of the Blacks and Whites . The Blacks would deflect the racism onto us from themselves for self-preservation in the playground. Then when more actual Africans came they brought their African chip on the shoulder , as of course Indians had better paid jobs etc because whitey played the races off each other, and HIndus have major issues with Black people of all nationalities. Gurbani says it explicitly Har Harjan do-ae ek hai bib bichar kach nahin Jal te upaje tarang jio jal hi bikhe samae Guru ji has been called parmeshvar in numerous places in gurbani for example later guru refers to previous in such a way, but the point was to join us to the message and that is what the Guru WAS/IS/SHALL BE , if a saint/brahmgiani is given such a high darja in Sukhmani sahib do you really believe Guru ji to be less? Guru Nanak Dev ji transformed the worst of sinners with mere kirpa drisht , only possible if above tuk is true , why doubt gurbani?

the main thing that dawah girls and girl drone on about is sikhi is man-made, not the truth, then they try to do mental gymnastics to try to claim Islam is profemale and not that bad ... I doubt it , once sikhi in its true roop is understood all the barriers come down and the heart changes have you not read testimonies of former party girls who became true Singhnian?

problem is such kids could justify to reluctant parents going to a free gym at Gurdwara better than reading up on sikhi , following santhiya classes etc . Just need to get them over the threshold , anyhow

from my experience Samras tend to be clueless about sikhi and do stuff just because it has always been done that way. The particular family I knew had 2 daughters and married the younger daughter to deor of older sis just because they couldn't be asked to look elsewhere.

we need to be proactive and EVERY gurdwara should have golak invested in learning materials , gym equipment/ weights, bowing gloves , guards, shasters such as bows and bolts/arrows , salotars and be actively training ALL kids in sikhi and being tough mentally and physically. we don't need carparks, banqueting halls or even larger diwan halls. Our ancestors had tiny dharamshaley and larger akhardey this is the proper weighting

understood bro but the opportunities in the west have to be found or made from other ustads/disciplines who may not be sikh .e.g.. archery clubs, martial arts like escrima . Until we make every gurdwara a learning gym this will remain the barrier to wider shaster vidhiya in the sangat

If you want to do this join BOS Parchaarik school and learn the ropes and support them not divide the audience. They need up and coming sikhs to get behind them and their projects

probably they interviewed family members and friends fairly typical journo sources ... and regrettably it is a prevelant trait in sikh homes with regards to girls/boys who show such questioning attitudes worse for girls

I am saying that the panj have to have excellent spiritual jeevan ...Bhai Rama Singh ji was one of the panj for me as a kid as far as I know he was not known for proven battle skills or the others but we were all aware of their spiritual depths anyone can develop shastar vidhiya and be bereft of a spiritual side (just look around in the world) . Do we praise Baba Deep Singh for his shastar vidhiya alone or is it his level of Brahmgian in combination with that?
