Guess everyone would rather talk about the quran than a working Gurdwara being demolished in the space of a couple of hours in Madya Pradesh by the POLICE and local Govt. -
Guru Sahiban would not have commented on the quran as such because the quran was not the same as it is now , also the hadiths were ascribed to Mohammed many years after his death ; in that case anyone can say anything and say the prophet said it , I mean the sayings had to be sifted for the final published ones out of many thousands

let's agree to use the correct word Parchaarik ...which is a positive and apt word , showing people a better way , a clearer path to happiness and peace of mind . I do not know anyone who has had a negative reaction to learning about sikhi ... in fact they come away with a sense of respect and friendship at the very least . BUT AT THE SAME TIME we need to make EVERY gurdwara a sikh learning centre for the host language speakers at the very least and as many others as possible . Sikhs should be learning multilple languages this is suggested by our Guru Sahiban too ...

Farid ji was a sufi , he trod the path of sikhi where his focus was Akal Purakh alone , his writings would be considered heretical by his contemporaries unless they believed like he did as he said that akal purakh was rameiya in his creation which 100% contrary to the abrahamic model. By your logic Bro then who was Catholic to visit Rome and the Pope? who was Buddhist to visit Tibet, Ladakh, Leh? who was Hindu and doing tirath to visit Gorakhnath , Benares , Godri etc? truth is Sikhi went to the main centres of ALL the major faiths and Guru ji spread Akal Purakh's message to them .

Not true the soldiers/navy salute her , the women curtsey not bow ...don't generalise, Sant Attar SIngh ji never bowed when her ancestor came to India in fact he quoted Gurbani which pointed out the temporariness of their power. I think he is the example for us all
