  1. What was the demands from the guys group who was locked up in a room and beaten? The guy can still press charges against those who beat him without any video. Give a description of the people who beat him and get an arrest warrant out for them. Also the police can hard press the Gurdwara staff to give them up or they can be charged with aiding and abetting.
  2. And neither is anyone saying Sant Jarnail Singh ji is hiding. Saying Sant ji would never hiding near Sri Hemkhunt Sahib is a sneak attack on Sri Dasam Granth Sahib ji for saying Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji did bhagti (hide) at Sri Hemkhunt Sahib. This shows the level of manipulation this poster is willing to use. This poster could not answer simple questions on Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji and instead purposely started bringing up unrelated topics to hide. So if anyone is hiding. It's this poster. They hide and run when Sikhs present Gurbani that doesn't promote their agenda of manipulation.
  3. Present the atheist arguments here and see if anyone can provide an answer for there argument. Good place to start is Mool Matar. Your prof is going to mark you on rationale of the argument and not on who wins the argument. Essentially no one wins the argument because there is no physical proof for God and there is no proof God doesn't exist. Mostly likely your prof wants you to find the rationale of both sides and come to a conclusion of God existence is faith based as is another person loving another human being is faith based. Start with defining God and work with the atheist arguments against the definition you have. Some hindus sects did not believe in a God and Gurbani provides answers to them as to those who believed in many Gods.
  4. Okay, but what is wrong with these tuks?
  5. Why can't sikhinspire answer the simple question. He writes two long post but can't take 5 minutes out and answer the simple question. And his side kick is still up to his janani ways. I don't expect him to change.
  6. Perfect!, Tell me this. How well do traffic laws work when they are not being enforced by law enforcement?
  7. We don't care about anyone beliefs. Sikhinspire made accusations of Sikhi saying humans cannot become Sants and the term Sant is only used for Guru Sahib and Vaheguru. Now we have presented Gurbani to counter what he has said and he is no where to be seen. This means he has no morals; not willing to accept Gurbani. Gurbani says Prahlaad is a Sant. And Sikhinspire turns around and says Sant Prahlaad didn't even exist and is a mythical character. This is calling Gurbani a lair. And you always have the need to bring in other topics not being discussed to throw dust on the truth being presented. Do you know who else does this when they can't take the heat. Bickering women. So for now on, until you straighten yourself out and start acting like man, you will be called Janani. When you show some improvement by discussing on the points being discussed i will move from Janani to Bhenji. When you completely stop your Janani ways, then I will start refering to you as brother. But not until you drop your Janani ways.
  8. Going in circles here. The Singh did what he thought was right and there is nothing wrong with it because he was helping another human being. Severity of the head injury only comes into question when you make stupid comments about first aid. As a person who works in the field and is trained, we are to always assume the worse has happened to the person. If it makes you feel better to call it cushioned the child's head. We will let you sleep easier at night and leave it at cushion the head with his dastar. We don't want you to lose sleep over this one. As another poster has said we don't know the full story and making judgement calls against this Singh is clearly arrogant.
  9. Ik Onkaar is a metaphor and so is Vaheguru. Both are metaphors. Who are you to tell me they are not metaphors? If Gurbani says Brahma created the 9 Khands. Then Brahma created the 9 khands and Vaheguru created Brahma? What is wrong with Vaheguru assigning Brahma with the duty of creating the 9 khands? Bring a whole shabad, anyone you believe is metaphorical/poetry/imagery and we can discuss it. Let's see what happens. No point on arguing on what will happen. Let me take another crack at this one. I am sayine 1+1=2. Yet you are saying this same equation has different possibilities like 11, 112, 12. Gurbani provides the frame of reference a person needs to develop to understand 1+1=2. Why would someone go adopt a different frame of reference and then come back to learn Gurbani. Again understand the analogy I put forward. It's a very straight forward analogy. Nothing complicated. Bring the Shabad you want and we can discuss it. Not going to sit here and play the game, I think this elephant is a rope, no a wall, etc. Only your kind are good at wasting time in this manner and call it spiritual wisdom.
  10. Bit of first aid!!! Have you read the story? The kid was hit by a car. Head trauma is nothing small. Your an armchair quarterback without any doubt. You show no maturity. You must be 14 years old.
  11. The hype from the public has nothing to do with the original act of the Singh. He was not being cheered on by the public in the split second he took off his dastar to provide support for the child's head. IF you know anything about First Aid Training, then you would know supporting the head is an important part. The Singh came with a pure heart to help the boy. What anyone else thinks is irrelevant.
  12. It was necessary due to the time and circumstance. He acted swiftly and made split second decisions. He saw a human hurt and did what he knew how to do. This is a slap in the face of those Sikhs who only see the dastar as some fashion statement. Shows to others wearing a dastar is not only about looking the part, but walking the walk. One lesson he could take away from it is to tie a keski underneath so his head does not become bare in public. Yet, he still did the right thing here.
  13. Thanks for providing the links, but they don't change anything from what I have already said. The Sikhs of UK are not trying to say we are ONLY an ethnicity group. But using the current laws and policies to better life for Sikhs in the UK. By being labelled as an ethnicity they will have a platform for their issues to be heard and addressed. Currently the community is a ghost and their problems don't seem real to the government who make budgets to where money is needed and to which communities. In no way is the UK Sikhs saying we are an ethnicity who will not allow others from other ethnicity to be Sikhs. That is a failure on your part to understand why they are calling themselves an "ethnicity".
  14. Does it matter what others think? The guy did the right thing by attending to someone who needed help. I dont think he cared for fame or for anyones balle balle. You would have not slapped anyone. Stop acting hard and being an ignorant person. It was a time of emergency. Good on the Singh for acting quick and doing what is NEEDED.
  15. These missionaries are truly the frog in the well. They live in a box. They have no morals.
  16. Sant ji forsure is speaking in past tense and not in future or present tense. He is asking for a proper response to the attack the Indian Government has committed on Sri Harmandir Sahib. In other recording Sant ji uses future tense to say when indian governments attacks. Not the case in this video. It would help if someone could put up rest of the video.
  17. What is the core of both and provide links or references to where you are obtaining the information.
  18. Sikhs do not practice or try to attain the ability to tell the future. These are all lower energies of life which take a person away from the one true goal. This life is temporary. Trying to find out what will happen two years from now will not help. The end for this mortal body is the same for everyone; death. No one can escape it and no one has by using the unlimited amount of powers in this universe. Focus on what is happening now and are you focused on Akal Purakh.
  19. This posters argument is based on a false premise. No accurately researched history page of the Sikhs will say, Sikhs have struggled to be recognized as a distinct ethnic group. It has always been about being recognized as a separate distinct religion. From Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji to the Tenth Master and the more recent movement of the 1980s were all about religious freedoms as a distinct religion. Very clearly the Gurus have defined Sikhi in Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji as distinct and unique with nothing else like it. Sikhi without anyone doubt started off as a distinct religion. Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji brought Bhai Mardana into Sikhi after coming in contact with him. Gurbani of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji and Bhai Mardana show how Sikhi is distinct. Anyone who reads Gurbani can easily see how from the very beginning Sikhi was distinct. The story of how and why Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji was sent to Earth becomes more clear in the Bani of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji. In Bachittar Natak the 10 Gurus are separated and fully accepted as the True Gurus of Akal Purakh. Rest of the Devi and Devta are bundled up together and clearly said to be egotistical beings and unable to deliver the true message of Akal Purakh. Brahma, the writer of the Vedas is said to be the root cause of the problem. Brahma through the vedas attached others to duality and forgot about the One; Akal Purakh. These Devi and Devta do not belong to a certain religion. Sikhi is open to everyone, without question. It is essential to learn Punjabi because Gurbani is written in Gurmukhi. There is not a single person in this world who can accurately provide Gurbani in a different language. Many words do not exist in other languages and the full picture cannot be given in other languages. Hence the need to keep Gurbani in Gurmukhi. Yet there are translation out there in various languages for Gurbani. This clearly shows Sikhs are not holding Sikhi hostage under the umbrella of being recognized as a distinct ethnic group.
  20. After Gurbani is presented to bring the truth to the front. Both of them do not even acknowledge what has been presented. We are all here to learn. We cannot learn if we refuse to explore the truth.
  21. Here is more Gurbani: ਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਹਲਾਦ ਕੀ ਪੈਜ ਜਿਨਿ ਰਾਖੀ ਹਰਨਾਖਸੁ ਨਖ ਬਿਦਰਿਓ ॥੩॥ ang 856 So the one source the poster Sikhiinspire wanted to post as the only true interpretation of Gurbani (Guru Granth Darpan) says a human can become a Sant. And now the above Gurbani is calling Prahlaad as a Sant. Are you satisfied? Let me know because I really want to move forward and discuss how Chaur Sahib and jyot are the same.
  22. We are speaking about Sikhi here. Not about some worldly knowledge and titles. Show me where the Guru used professor to desribe anyone? I showed you where Guru Sahib used Sant for a individual. I expect the same proof. Dhunda has no knowledge on Gurbani. He has not even scratched the surface. What is wrong with symbolism. Nothing wrong with having a jyot. If jyot is wrong than so is Chaur Sahib. Again i will be ready to provide Gurbani on Chaur sahib if you are up to finding the truth.
  23. Bhagat Prahlaad is called Sant Prahlaad in Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. Therefore the word Sant has been used for an individual who has reached the state of being a Sant. A terrible theory with so many holes in it. Gurbani gave the title of sant to a individual named Prahlaad. Let me know if you will lose the ability of knowing how to use a search engine now. Which is all of the Gurus Bani including Dasam Bani. If you have trouble swallowing this truth. I can surely present Gurbani which shows all Sikhs the truth of what is Guru ki Bani.
  24. Making mandates out of thin air!! Provide this mandate by the Guru. Putting words in the Gurus mouth. Have some sharam.Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji left the human body in 1708. Your man made so called sri Akal Takht maryada was forced upon Sikhs in the mid to late 1900. Which clearly shows you consider SGPC to be your Guru and not the tenth Master of the Sikhs.
