Our ardas starts with pritham bhagauti simar kai - Bhagauti, the double edged sword, is a metaphor for God. Shastars have been around since 1469 in Sikhi and essentially since the beginning of mankind. They are very very fragile, very very dangerous, very very powerful, but they can also be used for very very noble purposes (JUST LIKE OUR MIND, WHICH IS THE most powerful, most dangerous, most fragile shaster). A gun is also a shaster. Here are some parts of history where guns have been used. I don't think Guru ji would say that putting "Waheguru" or "Akaal" on a gun is bad. God doesn't have a name - that you can PUT IT anywhere. "Waheguru" or "Akaal" are words we have to express God, and they are already on many other shasters, including swords and knives. i understand W!N shouldn't be down but there's a reason and they clarified it in their update on their website. This was a dream team partnership and the ADMINs ripped it apart with no permission of the saadh sangat which is really unfortunate

The SikhSangat ADMINs need to clarify why they would do such a thing leaving two websites at a disadvantage without any permission from the sangat. It's really unclear why this quick decision was made and it seems clearly political and emotional rather than a gurmat decision. This forum belongs to the sangat but i think the ADMINs started to think it belongs to them individually. Especially from the posts above and the other threads about this whole thing. I hope waheguroo network can be up soon because I miss keertan.net!! for now i need a rest from the forums :umm:

i think sikhsangat was so integrated into waheguroo network so when it left now waheguroo network is also down things weren't so bad we just always complained too much guru sahib kirpa karan
