  1. Ok, where did I go wrong? I'll reread my post to see where I went wrong. I try my best to not be offensive. I'll improve and be more respectful. Sorry. I resent being 'outclassed'. LOL!
  2. Reread what I wrote very, very slowly as you have problems with your reading comprehension skills. If that doesn't get work, get someone to read my post and explain it to you.
  3. I don't need to be a scholar to point out a hypocrite. You don't need to leave your families and jobs to create a movement of sorts to help out the Mazhbi's, my selfish friend. "You don't seem to understand very much about the problems facing mazhbis. They aren't in need of money any more than the average Jatt..." Spoken like a true fool. One of the major reasons a person leaves one religion for another is because of support and not because their ego was not massaged in their previous religion. You are truly an ignorant bufoon. Since when does having your own Gurdwara catering to your communities needs equates to being 'cut off'?. If you're not happy the way Jatts behaving in one Gurdwara, would it not be better if you create your own? There are Ramgharias, Sainis, Dhoabe...and they all have their own Gurdwaras. You don't see Jatts or these other communities complaining that they're being 'cut off' from each other. Why is that? Why the constant complain and whining from the likes of you of not being 'inclusive'? That's because you're suffering from an over inflated ego. If you truly are so concerned about Mazhbi leaving Sikhism, why don't you do something? Create a fund from the UK. Help them out. Create Gurdwaras that are 'inclusive' of them. But you're not here to help. You're here to massage your ego. You need to find a bogeyman to attack and make yourself look good in front of your low IQ Pendu buddies. Nobody leaves one religion for another just because they were 'looked down' by members of their own community you clueless nit wit. If that were the case, millions of low caste Hindus would have left Hinduism by now. Do you think there are no problems among Christians and Muslims? You are very ignorant as to why one leaves a religion for another.
  4. And what is stopping you and your ilk from going to Punjab and creating your own version of 'perfect Sikhism' and keeping these Majhbi Sikhs within Sikhism fold? How hard is it for you people like you getting together in the UK, putting your money where your collective mouths are and buying over a couple of Gurdwaras in Punjab to cater to these Majhbi Sikhs? Take Jagraj as an example. He is out there doing what he believes. No attack on anybody else. This is a guy I can really respect. I would not be the least surprised if he is a Jatt. LOL! Why don't you be a Jagraj for the Mazhbi Sikhs in Punjab? Create a movement of sorts. Go help your Mazhbi brothers and sisters instead of attacking Jatts in a forum. You my friend are part of the problem.Spare us your crocodile tears for Mazhbi Sikhs. You like every other hypocrite here never cared for them. They are simply there as footstool for you to attack Jatts. People who are imbued with positive energy go out and create something. Negative people on the other hand, whine, complain and attack others and simultaneously stroking their over inflated ego. The disconnect here is between you and your hypocrisy.
  5. No. Actually YOU are missing the point. Let's assume Jatts do consider themselves superior and you are right. How does that affect you? What actions have they taken in regards to feeling superior affected your well being?
  6. Can you please enlighten us and tell what caste were all our Guru's Maharaj? What caste women did they marry into?
  7. One of the key aspects of being a warrior is being able to tell the difference between friend and foe. If you can't even tell the difference between a friend and a foe, you are no warrior but a fool.
  8. As crazy as it sounds, there probably are some 'low iq pendus' out there blaming Trump for this attack.
  9. From what I've read, Maharaja Ranjit Singh was no saint either. His attempt to undermine the misls and take over their territories caused the Malwa faction to run to the British.

    Depression

I don't have a solution but here are some ideas. Do things that make you happy like watching movies or playing games. Maybe even hanging out with friends. Don't be alone. Hope you don't end up on Prozac or any other medication on depression.
  11. Since a sizable number of Sikhs live in the UK and other previous English colonies like the US, Canada and Australia and enjoy a higher sense of personal freedom and wealth then they could ever imagine by their Indian counter parts I think, Sikhs should gift this diamond to the Brits. We can raise some sort of 'write in' whereby all Sikhs living in the UK, US, Canada, Britian...give their full support that it should remain the British crown. As a Sikh if I had to choose, i would rather it remain in the hands of the British then the Indians.
  12. Berlin (AFP) - Chancellor Angela Merkel on Friday authorised criminal proceedings sought by Turkey against a German TV comedian over a crude satirical poem about President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that has sparked a bitter row over free speech. In a surprise decision that exposed rifts within Merkel's government, she said the German judiciary would now have to decide whether the popular comic, Jan Boehmermann, could be convicted under rarely enforced lese-majeste legislation. "The government will give its authorisation in the case at hand," Merkel told reporters in a hastily arranged televised statement. A probe under section 103 of the criminal code -- insulting organs or representatives of foreign states -- can only go forward with the approval of the federal government. The offence can carry a punishment of up to three years in prison. Merkel said the government agreed it would scrap what many labelled an outdated statute by 2018 as a result of the embarrassing affair. Ankara this month filed a formal request for a criminal inquiry to be launched in Germany against Boehmermann, who accused Erdogan of bestiality and paedophilia in the so-called "Defamatory Poem". Boehmermann gleefully admitted he was flouting Germany's legal limits on free expression, but has kept a lower profile since the furore erupted. The comedian was reacting to Ankara's decision last month to summon Germany's ambassador in protest at another satirical song broadcast on German TV which lampooned Erdogan in far tamer language. - Courts have last word - The case comes at an extremely awkward time as Europe is relying on Ankara to implement a pact spearheaded by Merkel to curb the flow of migrants taking boats headed for the European Union from Turkey's shores. It exposed Merkel to criticism she was compromising basic values to win Erdogan's continued cooperation. Merkel -- who had previously labelled Boehmermann's poem "deliberately insulting" -- had pledged Turkey's request would be "very carefully" examined, even as she underlined the German constitution's free speech protections. On Friday she said her government, after heated internal debate, had concluded that only the judiciary should decide whether Boehmermann had committed a criminal offence. "In a state under the rule of law, it is not a matter for the government but rather for state prosecutors and courts to weigh personal rights issues and other concerns affecting press and artistic freedom," she said. Merkel stressed that Berlin's decision did not amount to a "prejudgement" on his legal culpability and that "prosecutors and courts" would have the last word. She also highlighted Germany's "close and friendly relations" with Turkey, which she noted was a NATO ally, an EU membership candidate, and the country of origin of three million people living in Germany. She said while Turkey deserved "respect", she would continue to voice her "deep concerns" about threats to media freedom there. Prosecutors last week opened a preliminary probe against Boehmermann, 35, after complaints by dozens of viewers. - 'Unbearable kowtowing' - German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said his Social Democrats, junior partners in the ruling coalition, had opposed the approval of Turkey's request and were overruled. "In cases in which there is a conflict between media satire and the protection of individuals' honour, the restraint of the government is particularly advisable," he told reporters. The head of the German Journalists' Federation, Frank Ueberall, blasted the government's decision as "absurd", saying it sent "the wrong message to the Turkish government" about civil liberties. Sahra Wagenknecht of the far-left opposition party Die Linke called it "unbearable kowtowing" to the "Turkish despot Erdogan" at the "expense of press freedom in Germany". However news website Spiegel Online defended Merkel, saying she had demonstrated the independence of the German judiciary to Erdogan "who had nothing better to do than to complain at the highest level about a German jokester". "It is wrong to speak of buckling or caving -- Merkel showed diplomatic finesse in putting the ball back in Turkey's court," it said. Turkish Economy Minister Mustafa Elitas called it "the right decision", saying "an insult against the president" represented "an insult against the whole state". Erdogan has come in for fierce Western criticism of late over his increasingly authoritarian rule. US President Barack Obama warned that Turkey's approach towards the media was taking it "down a path that would be very troubling" after two leading opposition journalists were put on trial. In response Erdogan defiantly declared he would not take "lessons in democracy" from the West. https://www.yahoo.com/news/germany-authorises-turkey-request-tv-comics-prosecution-merkel-113329023.html
  13. Snake venom is in no way comparable to cannabis. Seriously, you cannot be this ignorant. People are not against weed simply because it's 'bizarre' like snake venom. It's because it's an intoxicant, just like alcohol and tobacco. I can't believe that I have to actually spell it out for you. I'm not judging you on the use of cannabis. I myself drink so I'm in no position to judge others. However I can't believe the double standards here and the silly reason used ie it's 'medicinal'. LOL! There are a million studies out there that proves alcohol lowers heart disease. But I'm not going to go around taking the moral high ground on other intoxicants while touting mine as being 'medicinal'. Secondly, IMHO, purely from a Sikh point of view, we are supposed to avoid all kinds of intoxicants in order to attain a higher level of spiritual awareness. It's just amazing how cannabis users like yourself try promoting it's use by peddling that bs about it being 'medicinal' comparing it to morphine use during operation in a hospital and now snake venom. You guys are definitely imaginative. LOL!!!!!!!! You're fooling nobody but yourself. Everything is 'medicinal'. tumeric, onions, garlic....they're all medicinal. However one is has other usages while the other is purely to get high. I'm not against someone suffering from some desease using cannabis to help fight that desease, in a really genuine case. However you can't have your cake and eat it too. You can't say A is fantastic, while B is just pure evil. Most countries around the world have a ban on cannabis and none on alcohol and tobacco, there is a reason for that. The propensity to become a druggie on weed is far, far higher then one becoming an alcoholic. Moreover alcoholics don't behave the same way as a drug addicts.
  14. This coming from someone promoting use of weed. LOL! Can someone think of God after consuming weed?
  15. Perhaps I get where you're coming from, weed giving that 'extra boost'. I used to do hard manual work and towards the end of the night, with a couple of beers, work seemed lighter and finished faster.I know people who have deceases like Parkinson who take weed to feel better. However let's not kid ourselves, alcohol, cigarettes, weed....they are all intoxicants. They are not going to take you to a higher state of spiritual awareness. Instead they numb the mind. In saying that, I believe weed and other drugs are far more dangerous then alcohol and cigarettes.
  16. It has everything to do with it. Cannabis usage = bhagthi = saintliness = valor = bravery in battle field.....I put it in mathematical form so you can understand better. Even a person is high in bhagthi, woudn't that translate to saintlyness in real life? I suspect the only bhagthi is getting a good buzz...LOL!
  17. Don't worry, I'm not asking your permission. LOL! My point is why the double standards?
  18. Why not? As crazy as it sounds apparently there are good side effects to smoking. http://www.livescience.com/15115-5-health-benefits-smoking-disease.html
  19. I don't believe alcohol and cigarettes are that bad but drugs, that's a whole new ball game. I've seen drug addicts. I even know professionals giving the same jive that I'm witnessing in this thread. But they don't realise the ill effects. Like being slow. I honestly believe weed eventually makes you stupid.
  20. Medicines that have been approved by bodies like the FDA and prescribed by a Medical Doctor is not the same as rolling up a joint and smoking it, no matter how you slice and dice it. Nobody gets addicted to say medication for high blood pressure but people do get addicted to weed. As for side effects, there is no medication without side effects, none. It's just the severity. Be very careful what you wish. What goes around comes around.
