Theres definitely a lot of problems In punjabi men and women some deep rooted issues and these filter down into the kids. Theres a lot of bad parenting as well, especially among our parents generation. They torment the kids. Iv seen a lot of messed up cousin because their parents had issues and were bad parents. Have absolute faith in guru nanak dev ji, my mums friends husband ran away with a pakistani woman and my mums friend started crying before guru nanak dev ji and she asked him to help her from the bottom of her heart. She then had a vision of guru nanak dev ji in her dream and guru sahib told her that she is doing the right thing and is on the right path and that her husband will come back. Few days later her husband came back. This happened here in the UK. We often pray and do ardaas but have no faith. We pray but in our minds we dont have faith and feel hopeless we even try to convince ourselves that we have faith sometimes. Need to pray with full faith that waheguru will help us. Praying with doubt in your heart doesnt work. When a child asks his parent for something he asks with full faith that hes gnna get what he wants. Waheguru is our father

Some of them do know about these old school recipes lol they know basic stuff like roti thorka as well just need to make sure to end up with 1 who does know all this stuff lol my friend whose 35 from here is married to a girl from here and she makes roti most days and makes desi alaaj stuff if she gets stuck she rings her mum and she tells her. when i get married one of the priorities has to be she knows how to make dal roti sabji haha if they like eating desi food then they know how to make it.

not sure if it happens in other areas but in doaba you get moneh laughing at singhs like openly saying jokes im from nawanshar and they do that there. thats how low sikhi has fallen there they sarcastically call you baba ji and start laughing. i was gnna go to this local jaggah with my cousin and his 2 chamar friends hopped on to go with us my couins keeps his hair and those 2 guys started laughing and cracking jokes about my cousins gutti he then called them saleh musalman i was just shocked tbh but iv noticed this a lot over there. does this happen in other regions too?

sabo talwandi is in bhatinda its where damdama sahib is the 5th takht iv been there it took us over 5 hrs to get there !! but we also stopped at nanaksar

yh machiwara is in malwa its only around 25 min drive from where my family are from so not that far i used to think it was in doaba lol but no ! sutlej river aint that far from my my family pind once you cross sutlej then your in malwa sutlej is around 20min drive from my pind.

And the other main obvious reason is that sikhs are a minority in doaba. doaba is hindu and dalit majority with dalits being the more socially/politically dominant, over 45% of doabas population is dalit. over 40% of the sirpanchs in the pinds in doaba are dalits, because of this doaba has always been a congress stronghold region as dalits and hindus vote congress. hindu obviously are hindus while dalits because of their political/social dominance dnt really identify with hindu or sikhi but have their own identity mainly ravidassia and valmiki faiths sikhs are tangled up some where in there

Doaba has the weakest Sikhi and the reason is that there is not that much ithiaas in Doaba unlike Majha and Malwa which are deeply rooted in Sikh Ithiaas, People from these regions have that connection. These two regions have also seen a lot of Sants. Throughout the 80s and 90s Doaba was the least affected and most people around here dnt even know anything about Sant Bhindrawale other than his name. Everyone knows that Amritsar is our holiest city and it is in Majha, and then Malwa was blessed by Guru Gobind Singh ji and the ithiaas of the chote sahibzade. Doaba cant offer that kind of ithiaas so there is that lack of connection among the people there bcoz of the lack of ithiaas there are hardly any historical gurdware there. some history of Doaba though Bhagat Singh was born in Doaba near banga, Sant baba Harnaam Singh ji Rampur Khera Hashiarpur, Singhs involved in 80s movment Bhai Surinder Singh Sodhi, Gurdeep Singh Deepan Heranwala, Balwinder Singh Babbar and few others famous Historical gurdware include Gurdwara Harian Belan Hoshiarpur, Gurdware in Sultanpur lodhi
