  1. Kids are the ones that suffer from this stupidity the most, especially the eldest.
  2. @shastarSingh Egyption depiction of the afterlife with a deity of death with a scale measuring the weight of a mortal heart/good deeds
  3. No way was she anything like bhagat puran Singh ji. Bhagat puran singh ji was/is the epitome of selflessness and sewa. She was just a well constructed fake image. Bro I dont know too much about zoroaster, but yes he believed in one god, whether if he said his before judaism I'm not sure, i dont know the chronology of it. But there was this parsi girl that i worked with and she said that zoroastrianism was the first to say that there is 1 god. What I do know is that the idea of heaven and earth and divine judgment existed in zoroastrianism way before it christianity or islam even existed. I'm not sure which came first judaism or zoroastrianism but jewish scriptures really dont talk about a after life. zoroastrianism had strong influence on christianities heaven and hell, which later islam had as well. But this idea of divine judgment is very old. Even the ancient egyption believed in it. Egyptians have the book of the dead where there is a depiction of a mortal being judged with his heart on a scale, with a deity of death standing before him. Like I said I dnt know the chronology of which came with these concepts first egyptions, zoroastrians, pagans, but these definitely had a influence on the 3 abrahamic faiths. Though the jewish scriptures hardly mention life after death, heaven/hell even jews started believing in this once the Christians came. But then where do the vedas fit in all this? Coz vedas too mention yamraj/dharamraj as the divine judge and deity of death. Zoroastrianism seems to share some similarities with the vedic religion. They use fire as a focal point, believe in deities as well as 1 god, their temples are shaped like hindu mandirs and one of there symbols is a peacock even though peacocks never existed in Persia! I did question the parsi girl I worked with about this stuff and whether if hindu dharam came up with the idea of 1 supreme god/parmaathma and all the rest first, but she didnt like that very much and said it was the other way round and that zoroastrianism had influence on the vedic religion lol.
  4. Yh that's another thing lol it is fishy isnt lol same with all the other events in the old testament. Like apparently when moses left egypt with the hebrews, there were half a million hebrews! According to the bible they roamed judean desert for 40 years yet not a single record exists of half a million people migrating out of egypt and then roaming around for 40 years. There also is no archeological evidence for this, no traces of mass human migration, no humans remains, pottery, material nothing! Absolutely nothing. There also no evidence in egypt of the Egyptians actually taking in half a million slaves. People have discovered so much about the ancient Egyptians though archeology and what not, yet not a single piece if evidence exists about half a million people being taken in by the pharaohs and living there for 100s of years and then mass migration taking place out of Egypt. Nothing Same with all the other biblical stuff. I dnt even think there are records of the Muslim prophet, but then again apparently the pagans like the indians weren't great record keepers.
  5. Maybe I'm wrong, but have you noticed that every decade or two there is a new bemari. I think back in the days it was hiv/aids, then we've had cancer for about a decade and now I'm seeing a growing numbe of people with alzheimers. Cancer seems to be fading. Cancer made them millions $$$ now I think nxt alzheimer's is gnna replace cancer, they "dont know the cure" for it so will make a lot of $$$
  6. No bro she was a fraud! The whole image of white woman cradling a dark malnourished child is a very popular image in the media which they have been using for a very long time. She was nothing but a cash cow for the Vatican, a poster girl. She made millions through charity and it's a well know fact that all the money went to the pope/vatican. She didnt use a single penny on the kids in her orphanage. All the kids in her orphanage used to sleep on the concrete floors and her nurses used the same needles on all the kids. She had this strange obsession with death and the dead like a lot of Catholics do and she didnt use any modern treatment on the kids. Disease spread a lot in her orphanage, all of this despite receiving millions through charity. The hypocrisy is that when she needed treatment herself she would fly off to America for modern western treatment in a jet. While her kids were sleeping on concrete floors with no treatment she herlself would fly off to America when she was sick. Does that sound like a saint to you? She made the Vatican millions in her lifetime, and after she died the Vatican decided to make her into a saint. She was a fraud. Vatican is one of the richest institutions in the world yet rome Is full of homeless people. A lot of Christian's see the Vatican as satanic.
  7. I think he was a real man, a saint? And possibly was crucified because that was actually a very common punishment under the Roman's. But everything else seems to be added later on they made him into something that he was not. The whole virgin birth, him being god in human form, the wise men following the star everything. Christianity was created by the powerful church fathers and they made jesus into a God, and crafted his image, the virgin birth etc this god jesus has nothing to do with the real man that possible once lived and preached. The god jesus was sketched by the powerful priests. I guess the creation of this religion by them was for political gain. And later the Roman's made christianity into the state religion, which gave Christianity the kind of power and influence that no religion has ever seen. This is when mary the mother of jesus was made into a goddess, she just replaced the goddesses that the romans/pagans used to worship. Same idols, rituals but a new name mary. Imo christianity is the biggest and most successful business venture ever! Just look at the vatican to this day!
  8. One of the most iconic Photos ever taken. Also one of the saddest ever. The photographer later committed suicide, he never helped this little boy who was dragging himself to a relief camp. I doubt he ever made it, his fate was right behind him, some say he did make it? Just shows you how low humans can sink. The guilt obviously ate the photographer away and he could no longer take it.The story behind this photo says so much about human nature at its worst. Guilt also destroys you. one of the most powerful images ever.
  9. my guess is Jesus was another prophet, Trinity was created much later by Paul. Think Muslims are right on this one. Muslims got punishments like stoning people to death from the Jews, but i wouldn't be surprised if the Christians were still doing that even though Jesus was against it.
  10. Jesus life, sayings and doings are in the Gospels, which were written by Mathew, Luke etc who were the apostals of Jesus. I havent read much of the Gospels, but if we go by them then Jesus was a peaceful man who never ordered violence. He questioned the authority of the Jewish high priests and their claim to priesthood. He also was very vocal against how the Jewish priests had turned the temple into a business by setting up stalls selling chickens and money lenders etc, he actually flipped the tables and set the chickens free and said that the priests have no right to turn his fathers(Gods) temple into a business. It was these acts that got him into trouble. Jesus also claimed to be the messiah or the savior but also claimed to be the son of God. Jews saw this as blasphemy. The Jews rejected Jesus as the Messiah and called his miracles black magic. Jesus was very popular among the downtrodden of society, the poor, lepers, widows, prostitutes etc. Theres a famous story of how the Jewish priests were going to stone a prostitute to death for committing sexual sin, a punishment that muslims later adopted. Jesus stepped forward and said to the jewish priests those who are without sin to cast the first stone, meaning the whichever priest standing there that is free of sin himself should throw the first stone at the prostitute. All the jewish priest dropped there stones and walked off. He was very vocal about the hypocrisy among the priests. Nowhere does jesus ask his men to carry out murder or rape women or anything like that. In fact he said turn the other cheek, which means if som1 hits you dont retaliate. Fights started breaking out between the Orthodox Jews and the Jews that were now following jesus and saw him as messiah. The priests were not happy about his growing influence and unrest started spreading everywhere. The jewish priests then got Jesus done for blasphemy and asked the Roman general to crucify Jesus. That region of the world was ruled by the Roman empire at the time, and the Romans didnt want any riots. The Jewish priests then told the Roman general that Jesus was the cause of all the unrest and that he should get crucified and out of the way. The Romans agreed and Jesus was then crucified. Main problem with Christianity is that Jesus never wrote the Gospels. Many Gosepls existed and the early Christians were basically Jews. It was very unclear among them who Jesus was and what his message was and what a Christian should believe or practice. Early Christians like the desert fathers were mystics, Gnostic Gospels popped up and they were very mystical in nature. Early Christians would write about things like inner struggle between their vices and soul. They would venture into the desert to meditate etc. During the meeting of nicea it was decided what Christianity is and who Jesus is. Its during this meeting that the Church fathers dumped the Gnostic teachings and Gospels and accepted the 4 current Gospels as the authentic Gospels. What ever writings they did not agree with were removed. Its at this meeting that they came to the conclusion that Jesus is God as well as the son of God. This meeting changed Christianity and gave it its own identity. B4 this Christians were basically Jewish in practice and custom. St Paul played a huge part in shaping Christian theology. He decided that Christians dnt need to get circumcised, keep Jewish fasting etc he also was basically the one that created the trinity. Muslims traditionally see him as the one who altered the original Gospel which they believe was sent by Allah. St Paul basically created Christianity. So you can see very little is known about the real Jesus, the whole religion was created and shaped much later, Jesus never created a religion.
  11. Yh same thing is happening with me too, as much as i try to ignore it atm i probably will end up taking amrit in the near future with waheguru jis kirpa. bro that sounds perfect getting married having kids etc but my life has never been that straightforward lol and it probably never will be, its something that iv recently come to realize and accept, everything is wahegurus hukkam and our karam i dnt hold anything against any1 its just my karam. its been like that from the very beginning. I aint one of those people with great kismat lol i think theres gnna be a tough changeling journey ahead. but im making sikhi my purpose now, let whatever is gnna happen just happen.
  12. borris Johnson apparently has it. but how can you believe that prince charles has it my mother said that majority of the people that have it are actually men
  13. security is really tight there, my cousin sister told us that police are everywhere and their not letting people go out of their houses. Some pinds have been completely closed off. Only people that are wondering around in the shahrs are the young lads, but the police is beating them up with canes so that should keep them in for a while. India is actually handling this situation really well! This country should of gone in lock down earlier.

  15. Lol I dunno if your talking about me or a other user but that halirious LMAO
  16. i dnt know too much about them i know basic stuff though All the prophets were Hebrews/Jews including Jesus, while Mohammed was Arab, Arabs claim to be descendants of Ismail the 1st son of Abraham. The story of the major Prophets is found in the Torah, which is the 5 books of Moses, the Torah is the first part of the Tanakh, which is the Hebrew bible, all together the Tanakh/Hebrew Bible is made up of several books. With the first 5 (Torah) considered the most important. The Torah which are the 5 books written by Moses records the stories of the prophets from creation and Adam in the Genesis, the first book, to the story of Moses which concludes in the 5th book cnt remember what its called now. After the 5th book of the Torah the story continues through several other book which i dnt know much about but the themes are the same, mainly stories about the Hebrews clashing with other tribes. The main protagonist in these books are minor prophets, kings and judges. The Hebrew bible is often criticized for its violence, treatment of women and morality. So the Bible starts of with god creating Adam, who is banished from the garden into the barren land after he broke Gods command and ate the apple. Once in the wilderness he has 100s of sons and grandsons with his wife Eve! two of his sons Able and Cane fight and one kills the other, the first murder. Adams descendants then spread the globe but are sinners so God decides to wipe them out with a massive flood. Noah is told to build an ark and save himself, his family and the animals bla bla bla and all the descendants of Adam are killed in the flood. So they believe that present humans are the descendant of Noah. Noah was a drunk and loved drinking wine. Noah was once drunk and sleeping and his cloth blew off and his genitals were exposed, one of his sons started looking and did stuff, the bible doesn't explain what the son did, but Noah wakes up and curses his son for doing what he did. Fast story forward, Abraham comes along. Abraham is told by God that he has a "promised land" which will be inhabited by Abrahams descendants. This same "promised land" is what the whole Israel conflict is about today. You can say this is where the tribal behavior of "muslim nations/land" "jewish land" stems off from, you can see similar notions in the creation of Pakistan as a muslim nation. But anyway Abraham then marches his people to this "Promised land" which is believed to be modern day Israel. The land was not productive and fights started breaking up between the Hebrews and Abrahams Nephew Lot decided to dump Abraham and move to Sodom with his wife and daughters. Meanwhile Abrhams wife Sarah was getting impatient because she couldn't have children. Abraham is then told by the God that he is gnna blow up the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah because the inhabitants are committing sexual sins and the men are gays. Abraham then tells God that his Nephew Lot lives in the city. God then sends his angels to save Lot and his family, as Lot is the only "righteous" man in the city. What follows is one of the most disturbing scenarios in the Bible. So while the angels walk through the city to Lots house to save him b4 God blows the city up, the gay horny men of the city decide to rape the angels. The angels then go into Lots house. The gays then start demanding Lot to hand the angels over so they can rape them. Lot then opens the door and hands his two DAUGHTERS to the men and tells them they are virgins and can have them instead!! Luckily for the young lasses the men were gays. Anyway the Angels then blind the gays and escape the city with Lot and his family, god then blows the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah up with fire. What follows next is also very disturbing. After the escape Lots daughter decide to have sex with their father, so they drunken him up and have sex with him one after the other and end up pregnant. After this episode, Abrahams wife is still childless and tells Abraham to have sex with her Egyptian slave girl Haggar instead. Abraham then has sex with Haggar and she gives birth to a son named Ismail, years later Sarah eventually gets pregnant and has a son named Isaac. Sarah then tells Abraham to banish Haggar and her son Ismail into the wilderness which is what Abraham does. Arabs claim to be descendants of Ismail and Muhammed is also a descendant of Ismail. God then tests Abrahams faith and tells him to sacrifice his son Isaac, just b4 Abraham was to cut Isaacs heads off God replaces Isaac with a lamb. This is where the jewish and islamic traditions of animal sacrifice come from. This story is what inspired the muslim fasting and Eid festival. Abrahams son Isaac had two sons Jacob and Esau, Jacob had 12 sons including Joseph. Joseph ended up in Egypt where he was popular among the Pharaoh. Joseph then invited the Hebrews to Egypt for better opportunity. The old Pharaoh died and his son was not nice to the Hebrews and decided to make them into slaves and get them to build the pyramids, palaces etc Fast story forward, God then chooses Moses to free his people from Egyptian slavery and take them back to the "promised land" The Pharaoh refuses and then God decides to send the 10 plagues onto the Egyptians. The most barbaric being God kills every first born son of the Egyptians. Would Waheguru ji do that? After this the Pharaoh decides to free the Hebrews and let them go so Moses along with Joshua guide the Hebrews out of Egypt and towards the "promised land" The Pharaoh changes his mind and starts chasing after the Hebrews along with his army. The Hebrews reach a dead end, the red sea. God then parts the red sea and the Hebrews walk through it reaching the shore on the other side, the sea then closes up on the Pharaoh and Egyptians chasing them and the Pharaoh and his army drown. Moses then climbs mount Sinai and receives the 10 commandments from God, these commandments form the foundation of the 3 Abrahamic faiths. Once Moses comes down the mountain after 40 days with the 10 commandments carved in stone he see's the Hebrews dancing around and worshiping a idol of a golden calf. Moses breaks the stone and orders the killing of his own people, this: Exodus 32:25-28 (NASB)Now when Moses saw that the people were out of control—for Aaron had let them get out of control to be a derision among their enemies—then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, “Whoever is for the LORD, come to me!” And all the sons of Levi gathered together to him. He said to them, “Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, ‘Every man of you put his sword upon his thigh, and go back and forth from gate to gate in the camp, and kill every man his brother, and every man his friend, and every man his neighbor.’ ” So the sons of Levi did as Moses instructed, and about three thousand men of the people fell that day. Now you tell me would our beloved Guru ji order the murder of his own Sikhs even if they have rejected his Dharam? After this incident Moses and Joshua guiding the Hebrews walk around the Judean desert for 40s yrs looking for the "promised land" till they reach the borders of the land. Moses died b4 he can enter and Joshua takes over. The Hebrews had been slaves in Egypt for 100s of years and in the meantime and Canaanites had settled in what is the promised land of the Hebrews. God then orders Joshua and the Hebrews to carry out and genocide on the Canaanites: 17 but vyou shall devote them to complete destruction,1 the Hittites and the Amorites, the Canaanites and the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites, as the Lord your God has commanded, 17 And the city and all that is within it shall be ndevoted to the Lord for destruction.2 Only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in her house shall live, because she ohid the messengers whom we sent. After this genocide and destruction the Hebrews move into the city and settle down. This Theme of God ordering Genocide is quite repetitive in the Hebrew bible: Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘I have noted what Amalek did to Israel in opposing them on the way when they came up out of Egypt. Now go and strike Amalek and devote to destruction all that they have. Do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’ – 1 Reigns (1 Samuel) 15:2-3[1] They warred against Midian, as the Lord commanded Moses, and killed every male…And the people of Israel took captive the women of Midian and their little ones, and they took as plunder all their cattle, their flocks, and all their goods. All their cities in the places where they lived, and all their encampments, they burned with fire, and took all the spoil and all the plunder, both of man and of beast…Moses said to them, “Have you let all the women live? Behold, these, on Balaam’s advice, caused the people of Israel to act treacherously against the Lord in the incident of Peor, and so the plague came among the congregation of the Lord. Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known man by lying with him. But all the young girls who have not known man by lying with him keep alive for yourselves. – Numbers 31:7,9-11,15-18 This Theme of God ordering the genocide of other tribes, ordering the plunder, and the rape and kidnapping of females from the other tribes continues into the Islamic scriptures. Muhammed did the exact same thing! he ordered the murder of various Jewish tribes and also permitted his followers to keep the women of these tribes. The Quran refers to these women as "what your right hand posses" Muhammed himself had a Christian Coptic girl which Allah permitted him to have sex with. Muhammeds clashes and murder of these Jewish tribes can be found in the Quran and Hadiths. You can see where the Muslims get all these things from. The idea of slaughtering people who do not belong to your tribe and plundering their wealth, started of with the God of the Hebrew Bible ordering it, these same ideas trickled down into the Islamic scriptures. And you see Muslims doing the exact same thing today. As for Christians, the Hebrew Bible is what they call the old testament, while the Gospels, which record the life of Jesus are what they call the New Testament. The Gospels are quite peaceful from what i know. Jesus claimed to be the Messiah, the Jews rejected this claim and demanded the Romans to crucify him. Later the Muslims came. Quran claims that the Jews and Christians have altered the message of God in the Torah and Gosepls and that the Quran is the direct unaltered word of God. Muslims believe in the Hebrew prophets but believe the Jews altered the stories in the Torah. What these Muslims are doing to non muslims is no different to the stories you can find in the Abrahamic scriptures. The murdering, plundering and abduction of of others women.
  17. with me iv never done anything myself, every move that iv made closer to sikhi is because of this heavy emotion that comes out nowhere, dont know how to describe it. all my family are moneh and my friends are moneh and non punjabis, so iv never had any1 around me telling me to become a sikhi everything iv done is because of this heavy emotion/feeling that pushes me. i randomly started waking up at amritvela not using a alarm but i just wake up at that time and took it as guru ji telling me to start doing nitnem, at 1st i ignored it but i just kept on waking up at that time most days and then just accepted it and started doing nitnem. i used to trim my dhari until 2018 dec and i stopped trimming it out of similar circumstances. as for amrit, last few weeks same thing has started happening, im keep on thinking about it and when doing paath its starting to feel incomplete without taking amrit, i never used to feel this or think of this b4 its just started happening. this feeling is probable gnna start getting stronger and stronger to the point where i will eventually take amrit, but its a scary thought! its like stepping into unknown territory. like the people above kaam is my biggest and main vice, but i would never commit fornication or adultery, i have too much fear in waheguru/guru ji to do stuff like that even though in the past i have been close to doing it, might sound really stupid, but we have this painting of guru gobind singh ji in our living room and i struggle looking into his eyes for more than 5 secs even though its just an artists imagination, how would i ever look into his eyes in real life if iv blackened my face by committing sexual sin, so even though kaam is a big struggle for me i would never go down that route. main problem is keeping routine and discipline! i do not trust myself with keeping routine and discipline.
  18. Hes a nob I cant stand that man, perhaps he has forgotten that it was his own ancestor ala singh who helped Abduli invade pubjab, his family have been traitors from the beginning including him They trow stones at them and spit at them when they walk outside and call them kafirs and hindus.
  19. i like the endlessness and the stillness deserts are really fascinating landscapes and imo the most beautiful landscapes. i dnt think many asians would share the same opinion as me LOL
  20. some white people things that i would love to do are falconry! not sure if that is entirely a white person thing but you never see asians doing stuff like that. I would love to do it, we have some red tailed kites soaring through the skies, they were reintroduced to the wild a few years back and since then their population has grown really fast. i see them everyday just gliding through the sky really massive majestic looking birds. i often look at them their life looks so peaceful and stress free just gliding through the sky i feed birds in my garden and one of the best things i ever saw was when one of these kites swooped down and grabbed a piece of bread from the roof and swooped back up! it was amazing! i was just randomly looking out of my window thinking about something and it just swooped down it was huge. another thing i would love to do is climb a mountain haha i love nature and would really like to do that, with waheguru jis kirpa i will have darshan of hemkund sahib i wanna go to a desert as well, deserts look beautiful and peaceful. i have a cactus in my room lol which is another white thing i guess theres something that i really like about cactus plants, its hard to explain what it is, i used to have 3 which grew, they were tiny little things and i took care and watered them and they became really big! and then i put them in the garden where they grew even bigger in size and for some odd reason my dad decided to take them out of the pots and plant them in the flower patch and they died. first cactus i got my dad to buy me was when i was still in primary school and its still alive i like visiting museums as well lol i like history
  21. English people are the only ones sitting inside their houses with this virus going around, the only people you see out and about getting told by the police are asians, blacks and eastern Europeans lol
  22. see its stuff like this which makes me not think about taking amrit, kaam is the main vice that i struggle with too but i would never commit fornication, but the idea of just falling back and out of routine only after a couple of months after taking amrit. you hear so many stories like these. how do you know when its the right time because most these people also probably thought it was the right time and look what happened. my brother in law whose the only singh in my family said just stay keshdhari and in rehit for now as living as a true amritdhari is really difficult. i personally know of 2 women who took amrit and some months later broke it, my mums friends son did the same, and 2 people in my family, it just makes you think twice as i would never want to commit the sin of breaking amrit my parents especially my dad also wouldn't be too keen about it, not that i listen i do what i wanna do
