puzzled replied to genie's topic in WHAT'S HAPPENING?
From my experience the Pakistanis from karachi are the most liberal and westernized, followed by the urban punjabis, and then the punjabi pendus and then the mirpuri ones who are the least. I used to work with this woman from karachi and she used drink wine and have wine in her pasta. She used to tell me that the best parties shes been to are in karachi. With hindus the gujjis are more gorafyed than the punjabi hindus. I haven't been around many south indians or bengalis. Punjabi hindus in the uk are nice people though- 40 replies

Thats true. Punjabis in multicultural places like west London areas are different to punjabis in white areas. I have family in Preston/Blackpool and they are so quite and different compared to the punjabis around here.- 40 replies

Fatehbad district Haryana. the district borders Punjab. some interesting statistics saw it on Wikipedia page so not sure how accurate it is. but % of people who speak Hindi in the district has drastically fallen while % of people speaking Punjabi has grown a lot. not sure why or how this happened. not sure what the current % is but if % of people speaking Punjabi has grown since then then tecnically the district should go to Punjab which will obviously never happen. any1 been to this part of Haryana b4? and know why number of people speaking Punjabi has grown so much? perhaps its the Punjabi culture influence considering its right nxt to Punjab .... Language 1961[12] 2001[13] Hindi 84.40% 56.20% Punjabi 15.60% 42.67% Urdu — 0.13% Other — 1.00% Religion in Fatehabad district[11] Religion Percent Hinduism 82.72% Sikhism 16.03% Islam 0.89% Others 0.37%

Most the recruits were from malwa malwa was always loyal towards the british the maharajas of patiala and nabha etc were British loyals. It was these states that sided with the british during the anglo sikh wars and provides them with army's . Its mostly the same amries/soldiers that fought for the british later on. Shaheed bhagat singhs ancestral pind khatarkalan is a 5 min drive from my nanke pind I visit it every time I go punjab

Theres been a rise of interest in jatka meat and all that stuff, I wouldn't be surprised if some set off on hunting trips. Most will probably be clueless and wouldn't realize the dangers. A French hunter has had his face ripped off by the very deer that he was trying to hunt. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8082105/amp/French-hunter-gets-50-stitches-face-colliding-fleeing-deer.html

puzzled replied to genie's topic in WHAT'S HAPPENING?
But why are some ethnicities more influenced by this than others ? Why have some punjabis fallen for this? I haven't seen many liberal westernized Somalis or bangladeshis. How comes these kind of ethnicities haven't fallen for it. From my experience hindus are more liberal and westernized than punjabis are- 40 replies

Who teaches them to be like that? I think it's the parents. All the parents are interested in is school, tuition and grades, nothing wrong with that but it's all they care about. Kids in return end up selfish and far to high up their own backsides. Parents are also to blame for the ultra liberal culture they let their kids be liberal they gave them the ok. Just a few weeks ago I saw punjabi kids around 14/15 yrs old nearly 10pm in the high street running around screaming like lunatics. One boy who was a singh with dhumalla and 4 punjabi girls in short skirts. Why their parents let kids out at that time? Why their parents let their daughter wear short clothes? Are the parents dead? Other south asian counterparts have managed to keep their culture and religion intact and dont give a sh1t about what anyone thinks of them What else do you think contributes to it... ?- 40 replies

The condition of sikhs is Afghanistan is horrific i know this afghani sikh guy who came here a few yrs back and he told me how Sikhs are treated there. He said muslims spit at you on the streets. He said he himself has been spat at several times. They call you kafir and pull your dastar and throw stones at you. The little singhs get bullied by the muslims kids and their joorahs pulled. Its not safe for sikh women to go out so they stay at home all the time. They have a big gurdwara in Kabul I think he said and thats where most sikhs live now they live within the gurdwara complex and spend most their lives in there. They used to have their own houses but for safety they have left their houses and most live within the gurdwara complex. Sikhs cant cremate their dead he said sometimes when you carry the dead the muslims start throwing stones at you and the at the body. I asked him why they are stil living there and he said simply because of the gurdwara. He said it's a over 500 yr old gurdwara and guru nanak dev ji visited the the place. I really dont think it's worth it ....

40% of people in jail for blasphemy in Pakistan are non muslims despite non muslims only making 3% of the countries population. https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m000fzpl/storyville-the-accused-damned-or-devoted

yh the muslim thing, in school we had pakistani kids say stuff now and then. sikhs and hindus were a minority in our school and the vast majority were pakistanis. not sure if they were anti sikh/hindu or anti india or both but it was hard to tell sometimes. we once had a paki boy during RE lesson say that hindus are dumb and stupid, he got suspended for a bit. they would be sarcastic and say stuff to us like does your god have lots of arms and heads etc making jokes about sikh names etc around the time of india/pakistan cricket matches it used to get a lot worse! i remember a full rally of paki guys walking through the play ground shouting out things like "india is a b@stard" my pakistani "friends" just used to turn their faces away from me and laugh the thing is the arab and moroccan and somali kids were never bad towards the sikh/hindu kids it was only the paki kids that behaved like that. with wahegurus kirpa we have 2 sikh schools now in the area

Not really sikhphobic but I get odd looks from mostly middle aged white people it used to happen when I was mona aswell but I get a lot more prople staring now than b4. It actually feels uncomfortable going to towns with mainly white population because of the way they look at you. I avoid white areas... I feel sorry for Sikhs that are living in random places with no diversity. Imagine living in one of those areas with lots of farms and cottages lol
