  1. Yh the vedas were written by Brahma. But the reason people dont worship brahma in india is because he actually was a very lusty and egotistical devta. The story goes that bhrama through meditation created sandhya, his daughter, but after seeing her beauty he fell in love with sandhya, his own daughter! Sandhya then tried to hide from brahma. When shiva saw that brahma had sexual thoughts in his mind for his own daughter, shiva cut one of brahmas heads off and cursed brahma that in the future no one will worship him and that there will be no temples built in his name. Another version is that kamadev also shot sandhya with a arrow and she too fell on love with brahma and when shiva found out he chastised brahma front of everyone. Sandhya then felt guilty and disgusted of her body and went to the Himalayas and after meditating on shiva for centuries she she walked into fire and was reborn into a rishis house, Brahma being embarrassed that shiva chastised him in front of everyone then sent kamadev to fill shivas mind with lust but shiva was a true yogi and lust didnt effect him. Brahma then told shakti to take birth as mata sati, shivas first wife and to seduce shiva and make him into a householder. Mata sati was then born into dakhshas house brahmas son. But dakhsa never treated his daughter mata sati well because she was shivas wife. So brahma was always known for plotting things and getting jealous. Brahma didnt stop with the incest there! He later created saraswati, his daughter and then ended up marrying her! Another story is that brahma challenged vishnu to see who is more powerful, even though it was vishnu who created brahma! Shiva turned into his gigantic lingam form, and vishnu and brahma raced towards the lingam to see who reaches there quicker, a long time went past and neither of them could reach the lingam so vishnu gave up and came back, Brahma on the other hand told a massive lotus flower to lie and say that he reached the lingam, the flower lied for brahma and said that he reached the lingam therefore is more powerful than vishnu. Shiva then from his lingam form turned into his fierce rudra form and cursed brahma and the flower for lieing, and told Brahma that for his lies and deceitful ways no one is allowed to worship him. Brahma was very conniving, deceitful and egotistical, and very lusty as well. Shiva on the other hand was humble.
  2. is it possible that some people find out about their past life and how they got here? buddha through meditation saw various life forms that he was before he became his current form.

  6. Who is this woman? she sounds like a right cow in some old articles she called sikhs Islamophobic for speaking about grooming gangs, and said there is no evidence of muslims grooming gangs targeting sikh females. she also trys to paint sikh men as radicals. shes also written a book called " unsettling sikh and muslim conflict" i havnt read that rubbish but on amazon judging by the reviews on the back of the book it is really biased and is about how sikhs are Islamophobic, are having a identity crisis and that sikh identity in the uk is based on "good sikh vs bad muslim" " This book may be located within diaspora studies and the study of intercultural and interethnic relations, and more broadly, within the discourse on narrative performance where identity is viewed as intrinsically linked to storytelling. Using postcolonial theorists such as Said, Foucault, and Barthes, Sian attempts to interrogate existing narrative/s of 'Sikhness' that are rooted in tales of 'Sikhs and their battle against the Muslim enemy.' It is a battle centered on the notion of 'brave, courageous and heroic Sikhs' who emerge victorious in the face of 'oppression...and tyranny [by] the Muslim antagonist' (2). Stories, she rightly argues, shape identity. . . .Sian's narrative questions the present discourse and masterfully weaves her own story. . . .killfully expressed.--Islam and Christian-Muslim Relations"
  7. no we dont have that channel in the uk, we have ptc punjabi
  8. yh i agree, no point in protesting or getting too involved. protesting in front of tyrants is useless thats y i dont like seeing sikhs wasting time and protesting for 1984 justice b4 indian government, whats the point in protesting and asking for justice from the very people who killed sikhs. did the sikhs of the old days carry banners and go delhi and start protesting outside the red fort asking mughals for justice? no forget the government, help the people. delhi has plenty of wealthy sikhs who are businessmen

  14. Video from the riots showing delhi police/army harassing and beating men. They making them sing the national anthem. The one in blue shirt laying on his side died What hope do the poor and weak have in that country ...
  15. Yh that was another thing! Some bhamans 14 yr old son died and they came to rams court asking him to make the boy alive again, ram then asked his council of rishis what to do and one of the rishis said that the boy has died because a shudra is going tapasya somewhere. The rishis said that in tret yuga that only a bhaman and ksyathria can carry out religious duties. Because a shudra is doing tapasya it has created imbalance and it is the kings duty to sort the imbalance out. So ram went on a mission looking for a shudra doing tapasya and in the south country he came across a man hanging upside down on a tree meditating. Initially ram was impressed and asked him what he is trying to attain and the guy said that hes trying to attain the solar system and heavens, then ram asked him what caste he belongs too, the guy said he is a shudra, ram then realized this is the shudra that hes looking for and he took out his sword and cut his head off! All the demi gods then started showering ram with flower petals. By killing the shudra the bhamans son came alive and the balance was restored again! I have to say rams justice was all over the place in ramayan ! Ramayan happened in treta yug and the rishis in it say that in the current treta yug society was divided into 4 social orders by manu, the same guy who wrote the horrific manusmriti, and that in this yug the khsaytriyas have joined the bhamans in carrying out religious duties, and that kalyug will be the dark ages and that even the shudra will join in worship. It's still a interesting read though lol! Judging by rams tantrums and emotional breakdowns he definitely was not perfect. I prefer lakshman and hanumans characters. Poor sita is just depressed throughout the whole thing! If ramayan is truthful to what treta yug was like then people definitely had ego and anger problems and were very lustful. Promises were respected though and people stuck to their word! Elders were still respected as well. friendships especially brotherhood is really strong as well. People also did a lot of charity ... Marriage was not respected though they all cheating on each other lol a lot of promiscuous characters
  16. lol yes, i remember us reading about her personal life as 14/15 yr olds doing gcse art and laughing at all the naughty bits haha! she was quite something wasnt she! i dont remember much now as its been some time but i remember reading how she loved being center of attention and during some art event or social event? she decided to unravel her sari front of everyone, stripped butt naked! and layed on the floor for everyone to look at, she then invited the young men to do it with her while everyone stood there looking! cant remember if it was some social event or a art event but yh she did that! thats all i remember reading about her lol yh i think her mother traveled to india with one of maharaja duleep singhs daughters and in punjab her mother met her father umrao singh, they then moved to Europe where amrita was born but then moved back to india, i think there was a lot of moving back and forth from india and Europe, but amrita decided to settle in india and thats where her painting took off.
  17. after 12 yrs or so when luv and kush were with their father sita was called back to ayodhya to once again prove her purity for the 3rd time! sita refused to prove her innocence before the slandering people and asked the earth her mother to open up and take her in if she is pure and innocent, the earth then opened up and took sita in. basically she never got justice and had to die to be prove her innocence this whole thing of people not getting justice in india obviously isn't a recent thing also women being abandoned and disowned because they are not pure or innocent has been happening in india since the beginning as well. during partition when abducted sikh/hindu girls used to return home after escaping most their families used to turn them away to keep the families "honor" same happened with sitas character not much has changed has it ............... Now I have decided that if Sītā can prove her innocence before this assembly, then I shall again accept her as the wife I dearly love.” Everyone fell silent and all eyes became fixed upon Sītā, who stood with her gaze lowered and her head bent slightly downward. After a short pause, Sītā said to the assembly, “O goddess of the earth, please hear my petition. If, since the time of my marriage, I ever thought of anyone but Rāma, or if I ever loved any man but Rāma, then refuse me shelter. However, if I have only dwelt in Rāma in thought, word and action, then please give me a place within you so I need not experience the shame of facing these slanderous people.” While Sītā spoke, the earth suddenly opened up, and from the crevice the goddess Bhūmi majestically rose up, seated upon a golden throne borne by divine serpents. The goddess welcomed Sītā, took her in her arms and seated her at her side on the throne. Then, while from the sky and from the earth, the demigods and ṛṣis, kings and common people looked on in astonishment, the celestial throne slowly descended into the bowels of the earth. There was an uproar as all beings uttered exclamations of wonder, praising Sītā for this glorious confirmation of her purity. From the heavens, the demigods rained down showers of flowers, and there was singing, dancing and playing of musical instruments. After Sītā disappeared from sight, tears welled up in Rāma’s eyes and anger flared within His mind. Rāma lowered His head and declared, “Earth, I order you to return Sītā immediately. Open up and bring her here so we may again be united. Sītā is your daughter, and I am your son-inlaw. Give Me Sītā without delay or I shall crush your mountains, burn your forests and smash you into atoms!” Valmiki Muni; Swami, Bhakti Vikasa. Ramayana — The Story of Lord Rama (p. 562). 18. The people who have lost their homes and have nothing to eat should be helped, it's not just a sikh thing but the normal thing to do! Help people that have no food. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the widows end up getting raped considering this is india. In the muslim majority areas of delhi some schools have been set on fire, some school called Arun School ran by hindus was burnt, a few small road side mandirs been vandalized too.
  19. 85 yr old woman burnt to death Delhi riots: 85-yr-old woman burnt to death at her home Akbari, an 85-year-old woman, died after Hindu mobs set her house on fire on February 25. | Photo courtesy: Mohammed Saeed Salmani/Scroll.in
  20. yh she walked through the fire and it didnt burn her, yet he still dumped her simply coz people were gossiping and it was harming his families honor. not a very devta thing to do is it
  21. the thing that makes you question ramayan and ram is how his honor was more important than his innocent wife! he knew that sita was innocent and didnt let ravan touch her yet he still sent her back to the forest because his honor was more important! and he couldnt take the gossip a real man sticks by his woman! she was pregnant as well! Hearing this, Bharda bowed to Rāma and replied, “Whether good or bad, I do not know. However, this is what people are saying in the marketplaces and in the city streets: ‘Rāma has performed an extraordinary feat by bridging the ocean and vanquishing the powerful Rāvaṇa. However, has it occurred to Him that He has brought home a woman who was abducted by the Rākṣasa king and forced to sit upon his lap? Does Rāma not feel disgust at enjoying a woman who remained with Rāvaṇa for almost one entire year?’ O Lord, these are the things people are speaking about You.” Shocked and dismayed to hear this, Rāma then asked the other ministers if what Bharda had said was true. They all confirmed it was so. Rāma was fully aware of Sītā’s complete purity and innocence, but He could not tolerate the shame of having to hear that people were mocking Him in this way. Rāma made up His mind to abandon His unsuspecting wife, and called for Lakṣmaṇa. “After killing Rāvaṇa. I also considered, ‘How can I take Sītā back to Ayodhyā?’ It was just to allay these doubts that I made the princess of Vidarbha enter the fire in the presence of all the demigods and ṛṣis. Vāyu and Agni declared that Sītā was pure, and within My heart, I also knew she was chaste, so I accepted her back. Now, however, rumors are spreading everywhere, and I am being blamed in My own kingdom. “O Lakṣmaṇa, a person who is the target of rumors suffers great humiliation and defamation. Ill deeds are always condemned, and that is what motivates the noble-minded toward good acts. I am ready to give up My life if necessary, to avoid public scandal. Indeed, I am ready to renounce You, My dear brother, for insuring My good name and reputation. Thus, what can be said of Sītā? I am drowning in an ocean of sorrow. Never before have I experienced such misfortune! ........................................................ ram then tells lakshman to abandon sita near rishi valmikis ashram near a river, after finding out that ram has dumped her sita says: Upon hearing of her cruel destiny, Sītā immediately fainted. Then, coming to her senses, she pitifully cried out, “Now I can see that this life was awarded to me simply for suffering. What great sin did I commit in the past? What poor girl’s marriage did I obstruct to now cause Rāma to cast me off? “I faithfully followed my husband into exile and remained content, despite innumerable hardships. O Lakṣmaṇa, how shall I be able to survive here alone? What will I tell the ṛṣis when they ask me why I was abandoned? What wrong have I done? I would gladly end my life by throwing myself into the Gaṅgā, but that would bring about the end of Rāma’s dynasty.” Valmiki Muni; Swami, Bhakti Vikasa. Ramayana — The Story of Lord Rama (pp. 533-534). Bhakti Vikas Trust. Kindle Edition.

  23. I dont think the CAA is getting rid of indian muslims but its getting rid of begali muslims that are completely safe in bangladesh and have no reason to be living in India. caa is for hindus, sikhs and jains in the neighboring muslim countries, which is really good. there are 1000s of sikhs/hindus from pakistan and afghanistan now living in india with many living in punjab aswell and the rest in delhi. but setting mosques and businesses on fire to just really bad.
