  1. Is it important to have Anand Karaj? I mean whats wrong with something like registry marriage? will god not see that as marriage?
  2. Iv seen a few white Sikhs, Dont know how many there are though. Iv seen one a few times in my town. The last time i saw a white Sikh was a few months back at Ealing train station.
  3. It does happen in the other side too you know. This bengali muslim girl who works with my mum got married to a apna from India, she left her family and they got married at the gurdwara. This other lady who works with my mum said that in her extended family they have a paki girl married into the family and she even took amrit and is now a singhni. My driving instructor who also owns a small restaurant told me how he head a newly married couple where the guy was apna and girl paki they came to eat at the restaurant with friends after getting married etc Iv have heard countless stories over the years... Difference is we don't see it as some sort of "achievement" while they do! lol
  4. how is this ladies story any different to the stories in charitropakhyan lol! She betrayed her people, left her dharam, probably slept around and now wanted to bomb innocent people.

    Feelig lost..

Im not trying to scare OP or judge him i just asked why he turned out like that because Sikhi says you're family etc are saved if you do naam simran. I can kind of relate to him actually, Iv done some wrong things in the past, alcohol etc and i also have some important Sikh families in my family tree, in fact when anyone asks me what my family name is i feel very guilty and embarrassed as i don't even keep my dhari yet! What stops me from going back and doing wrong stuff is that i know Guru Ji is always watching me and after this life i will come face to face with the gurus, how will i look them in the eye after doing wrong things my whole life, how will i justify calling myself their sikh while doing wrong things, thats enough to keep me away from doing wrong stuff before marriage and alcohol etc. No one is perfect and most of us will make mistakes throughout our life but guru ji is forgiving too, remember bhai joga who tried to visit the prostitute was forgiven my guru Gobind Singh ji after he asked for forgiveness. The gurus are our parents and parents always forgive their children. Have faith and ask for forgiveness. coming off from alcohol is hard, iv been there, its good that you came off it, it starts taking you're life over

Stuff like this really confuses me! He comes from a amritdhari family with Sants in his family tree yet he's turned out like this! Doesn't sikhi say how you're whole family will change if you start doing naam and become proper sikh and how even the generations in you're family to come will be saved etc but then how do you explain this person?
  12. Some sikhs are desperate to show how intergeated they are that they would do absolutely anything to get approval and a pat on the back from non sikhs. Disgusting really White washed or coconuts are the worst kind
  13. That photo of the Singh with the umbrella is just weird and cheesy. I had some eid food at work samosa, halwa, samia, ras malai it was nice I've seen videos online of people letting the ahmdiya Muslims reciting Quran right next to guru Granth sahib ji while standing. I don't like the double standards I remember a few years ago some ramgharia gurdwara was in trouble because they let the Hindus celebrate navatri inside and the hindu ladies were dancing infront of their murtis. I mean what's the difference? Why are murtis and dancing not ok while letting Muslims pray and recite Quran in gurdwara is ok? Some of these sikhs are begging for acceptance and approval, how embarrassing. I mean what's next, Christmas trees and father Christmas, bet you sikhs who love approval from goreh would love to do that.

Harmandir sahib used to be surrounded by a cluster of palaces and bungas but the SGPC lot destroyed every single one apart from Bunga Ramgaria can you see that massive palace in the 3rd pic with the arches, Imagine if that was still there today!
  18. Goreh are far from self respect and dignity. What about all the pedophile vicars and little boys getting raped at the Vatican etc Goreh have so much "self respect and dignity" that they invented pornography.
