They are not like the Sikh mothers of old. They would exhort their sons to make them proud of the milk they had suckled. (I.e., do brave deeds so their mother won't be ashamed of them.)
Today's mothers are afraid of their kids getting their knees scraped falling from a bicycle!
Boys/men need to work out, run, lift weights, etc. How do you think the old-time Singhs pulled bows? We need a balanced Sikhi.
Our Gurus, that these women you referenced above worship, were not wimps! Guru Gobind Singh ji's bow was extremely difficult to pull.
Yup, I've seen so many singhs, and kaurs like this, including some people in my own family, they don't teach them to defend for themselves, instead they teach them to not get invloved in that stuff, which is bs, cause you can't always hide. That's why I'm making my younger brother and some other fam work out and martial arts, he's still a kid, and he plays a lot of sport but he's a twig, and he needs to learn.

Sorrynotsorry, yes its terrible all who are suffering, wars etc but they have ALL the resources, money, world powers, corporations behind them. Its down to their leadership or whatnot but we have jack all..we got no world power, no resources, nothing. Like who do we turn to..UN to help us lool. We are in the deepest end of sea then others. I pray for all suffering but unless we had our own Khalistan/Sikh kingdom and freedom then we can invest in others who need our help. Yemen, Palestine, Twain, Ukraine and rest are not going to open doors for Sikhs no care about us...their situation is far different from ours (if you read into their conflicts)
Oh yeah I don't give too many sh1ts about them being independent, like yeah sure they shouldn't be dying but I'm not going out of my way for their independence. I think that tweet was for your average person, considering the average person doesn't really agree/care about Punjab's independence, but they do with the others.

Western spiritually-oriented Sikh males are weak. Their pious facade stinks of bull5hit to any guy who's seen some of the harshness of life. If I was a female from a traditional background, I wouldn't want to be with a fu4hu.
You're not wrong there.

You didn't know? All the best curries contain grapes. Lol. @Redoptics knows wypipo on a level that enables them to dish up a good zinger.
Grapes in curry is something that my grandma would do, and she's the type of lady that makes chaa with more water with less patti, so it tastes like some water milk shite.
curry salad? never heard of that.

Depends ,,,the ones i know marry to gujjis are culture jatt types ...not much Sikhi
The cultural jatts I know hate india. They would marry anyone else other than hindus. It's more of the brahmins and khatri high caste ppl marrying gujjus and hindus.

Hindus from south aren't as bad. The northies, even the darker ones from north are really anti sikh, but I was talking to a few of my south indian mates about 1984, and how I fcking hate india, they legitamently understood and got where I was coming from, while the northies just had that smug look on that face denying sh1t. But we shouldn't rely on anyone.

The left hindus in liberals are just as bad
Yup, I know a lot of them, on the outside they're all progressive when it comes to basically everything, they might have their opinions on modhi, but when it comes to sikhs, they're all indira worshippers. They usually don't show that side of them.

What if, hypothetically, the nonce's wife begged you not to, because it would ruin her life and family reputation?
I care about the kids in the family's life and their future and mental health. Should have thought about reputatin before fcking around. I would tell that woman to get a divorce and stay away from her husband, and if she's a decent human, I'll help her and her kids (if she has any) out. I would still report him.

Same, and I heard somwhere that munda comes from shaving head, munan vala.

I'd like to ask all the sisters here. If you found out that an older relative was a nonce, would you report him?
Yes, definetly. And I would make sure that the kids in the family don't go anywhere near them.

It is sad that he died, and it's nice that he at least said some positive things during his time on earth. But perhaps we can leave it at that instead of engaging in absurd hyperbole.
He wasn't a great sikh, but he was one of the only people out there who actually cared about punjab and sikhi. I'm not saying we should exactly like him in terms of his personal life and sikhi, but we could take a leaf out of his book about when he did interviews and how he wasn't a sellout.

smh, so a person can die, a car can get destroyed, but yes a bottle of alcohol can still be in one piece

Over the years i have seen non-punjabis marrying Punjabis Sikhs raising their kids in Sikhi. I've seen, blacks, whites (common Gora Sikhs converting) and i know a half Chinese Singh, who wears a turban in Sikhi..Polish Punjabis is common because there was a huge influx for Punjabi munde immigrants(mostly mona) marrying polish yrs ago (passport lol)...With Gurudwares nearby and Punjabis neighborhoods its makes it easier ...but some of these Punjabi munde immigrants dont have got rep here
I dont know those living in rural areas or where there is not much Sikhs nearby. Probably not them same. Some highly educated apne live in these areas white neighborhood become very gorified/atheists living like typical English..
Hindu - Sikhs common esp Gujjis girls marrying Sikh men very common i can give you 10 couples right now lol its 50/50 with Hindu-Sikhs...i hope kids dont turn out to be rss types but i think its likely due to some hindus rss types calling out Sikh 'Terrorists'
Then ofc you got the Islam-Sikh debacle (grooming)
But imo i thinks it getting better with gora coming into Sikhi they seem very panthic too not the mona jatt types..
How is it in your end?
The people I'm associated with, they would not even think about marrying out, they'd be kicked out in seconds, even my non-amritdhari jatt mates. Cause we're still first gen. Even openely dating even within out own, here isn't really the best thing to do, have to hide it. But we still have kids our age messing around and sh1t.
Back when I was younger, at Punjabi school, there was a half chinese and half punjabi kid, the dad was punjabi, they knew some paath and then learnt to read and write and speak punjabi. There was also this amritdhari sikh, who proposed to this gori sikh, I think they broke things off. One of my school mates who is punjabi has family who's parents don't give a sh1t and now they're daughter is marrying this Turkish christian bloke, in a church. I knew this other girl who had an anand karaj with a gora, lol I was pretty shocked considering her brother is amritdhari I think. I'm not sure about the kids, because we still have a young population here. The whitewashed ones from a young age, I'm going to assume that the children are going to become like your typical gora, while we'll have the occasional mixed sikh amritdhari kid, probably not yet but maybe in the coming years, my parents would never let me marry a non punjabi, but if I had kids, I wouldn't care, as long as they're amritdhari.

How's it like in the UK when it comes to Sikhs marrying out?
Do you have some non Sikhs coming to sikhi, or are 'sikh' the ones converting?

That's gross, I don't think I've ever seen Punjabis with clothes like that here in public transport or in the city, some of the hair is boderline questionable, but at least it's not complete jaloos. I'm not sure about the punjabi areas here, I tend to avoid those places, unless I'm going to the gurdwara.
