  1. No it would stop them from doing pointless rituals just like Guru Nanak Dev ji has shown those giving water to their ancestors.
  2. Know what's funny: Hindus think we're them Muslims think we're just like them No one can just let Sikhs have their own identity... They always wanna be us or claim us
  3. Parchaar and to enlighten those who were engaged in falseness
  4. Also how do you know if he never went to Harmandir Sahib
  5. Btw... Why do you care if Sikhs have a separate identity?
  6. Right and the rejection of everything else hinduism is conveniently forgotten
  7. Also don't pick and choose your points... If you wanna do ninda of Guru Sahib then don't use Gurbani as a source or make points using Gurbani. Can't have it both ways, sorry ?
  8. Tell me what does Hindu mean and how the definition is changed over time first and then I'll address this
  9. Dude you are doing ninda of both Sri Guru Granth Sahib and Sri Dasam Granth. Watch your karams and watch yourself. How do you know that your sources aren't tampered or made with a bias?
  10. Here's an English version: https://sikhinstitute.org/sri_gursobha.pdf Haven't read it tho ?
  11. I sent him a book in another debunking that claim of living gurus after Dasam Patshah
  12. A shorter account can be found within this book - http://www.gurmatveechar.com/books/English_Books/A.Short.History.of.The.Sikhs.by.Teja.Singh.Ganda.Singh.(GurmatVeechar.com).pdf
  13. Another fact I found interesting is that from Akal takht, Harmandir Sahib is visible but from Harmandir Sahib, Akal takht is not visible.
  14. My source for Baba Banda Singh Bahadur: https://archive.org/details/LifeOfBandaSinghBahadurBasedOnContemporaryAndOriginalRecordsDr.GandaSingh/page/n269/mode/1up
  15. A good resource to make counterpoints against the arguments of human gurus after Dasam Patshah https://archive.org/details/GuruGobindSinghsDeathAtNanded-AnExaminationOfSuccessionTheories-Dr.GandaSingh/mode/1up
  16. @Suchi Read the following book on the succession theories after the death of Dasam Patshah https://archive.org/details/GuruGobindSinghsDeathAtNanded-AnExaminationOfSuccessionTheories-Dr.GandaSingh/mode/1up
  17. How do you interpret the integrity of your sources? A lot of your points are traced to obscure and questionable sources...
  18. You do know Nirankaris are banned from akal takht right? Their agenda is to have living gurus and thus they will use false stories.
  19. Really ? what census would they have in the 1700s that Guru Sahib would participate in. Moreover, in his bani he declared that he has created a separate path for Sikhs And after becoming a Sikh, his caste wouldn't matter... Not that hard to understand. Send me the book and tell me what primary sources he used. Panth Parkash uses stories that were passed down by older generations and Dr. Ganda Singh uses contemporary sources of those who were there with Banda Singh.
  20. I think the best way to choose the panj piare would be by a hukamnama. Sikhs shouldn't be actively seeking to become a panj piare. Another thing to wonder, how long should any one person be in the panj piare?
