Our lot are very foolish. The only thing they love being proud of is being an alcoholic and doing bhangra. Nothing else. Will run over their own to get clicks and likes from others. Just keep giving free food to people. Thats only what we are good for. Imagine being proud of the fact that people think you are free food community. Everytime i see news about langar seva in terms of adversity, i cringe. I dont know these people have made langar into free clicks and likes. All egositic. Langar was to ensure that someone's spiritual progress isnt harmed just because they have an empty stomach because a person cant focus spiritually if the basic needs of the person are not met. I remember my mom telling me how back home they all judge you based on what you wear, what job you have, what cars you have and what not!!! They are so superficial. Only when i started to learn more about sikhi did i realise all of this. The lighter skin doesnt mean the white type of skin that white people have. It goes deeper in the fact that evolutionary males of a group are darker than females counterparts and thus a female having lighter skin compared to the general population of her group is seen as neotenous. Lighter skin doesnt mean you literally lack melanin. Its the same way babies are lighter. In indian mythology alot of female characters are described as dark and beautiful. I dont believe this lighter skin bs.

facts!!!!! No one understands this but almost every group of people have hurt them one way or the other. Men are supposed to be the support for their women and build societies but when your own men do this to you, I can understand how it effects a person. yes but the point is that its not only goras fault we are equally as at fault for perpetuating these things but we only blame the goras for it because we want to absolve ourselves of the guilt. Its the same way those women talking about white supremacy usually have gora husbands.
