It's a two way street. Look at how the whole thing seems wrapped around various political parties. These guys want to control politics, but I don't think for any noble or panthic reasons - more like to cement their strongholds on 'businesses' they have going on. Every gangster I've ever met (and a fair few seem to emerge where I grew up) is a sociopath or psychopath, they'll only do things for their own gains, even if they might hide behind some noble panthic facade or behind a 'salt of the earth type' image. End of the day, if your morality and ethics are completely skewed, it affects your whole worldview and behaviour. Mentality wise, there is very little different in the thinking of a corrupt politician and 'gangster' - maybe only that the latter don't mind getting their hands dirty.  That's why they gravitate towards each other.

True words. That is what I'm saying. the govt lets them run rampant as they know these gangs can be useful to them when they have to get their own dirty work done.

Cant the police arrest them? These well know gangs in Panjab...We are talking about the Panjab police here. Do they not have intelligence services out there that well known for harassing / killing Sikhs after 84...lets not bury our heads in the sands...gov/agencies are behind those gangs..

Also he based in Canada like India could ask Canada to hand them over / arrest them ....

Bro they are literally backed by govt. Why would they be arrested? People need to understand these so called elites only care about money and power nothing else. They hate sikhs because we still have anakh and will fight against the bad people who want to harm us. Look at the people in rest of India. They are dead of conscience and no matter how much injustice is done against them they just accept it. That is what Sant ji called zameer da marna. Because it leads to a person becoming a slave. There are way more so called lower caste people in india. If all of them were armed do you think these 5 10% upper caste people would be able to control the entire country? The conscience of these people needs to be awakened.

I think mainly it's because the dastaar is like a state dress code. So people grow up wearing kesh from young, but any essence of Sikhi completely escapes them.

We've all met them, and probably we've all got at least one in our extended family. A pagh wearing man who is not remotely dharmic and usually thinks it's all a big con job, but they'll wear the Sikh nishaan all their lives.....

Even people who convert to xtianity still seem to keep their dastaar.

And then you have people still believing in sikhi but are monas... Christian frauds do it for an agenda but these atheists I think wear it  partly because they have to be used by the state for their anti sikh activities . For eg kp gill. Lol what's even more funny is that he got baptized before his death. Was he scared of what awaits him in his last days? We will never know.

People need to realise as well. The kind of crap this guy popularised sends our community in downward spiral. It's like having someone inside doing maximal damage.

This guy was only propagating backwards caste-based horse5hyte, and the fact that this is the level of 'leadership' you guys accept tells me everything I need to know about where we are heading. And if people carry on like this, they'll deserve it.

People want to try using their brains a bit, instead of propping up any singer like they are going to be some panthic saviour.

A lot of you lot make me laugh, one minute he's your hero, then he joins congress and he's a sell-out bogeyman, now he gets killed he's back to being your hero. It's like people's brains are unstable and incapable of judging anyone. That says it all about where we are heading.

Which pied piper is going to lead us to our demise in this way?

Bro like I said if people hated him for joining Congress it didnt mean we wanted him to die..... and he is not my hero. My point is young sikh men are dying in record numbers and it's extremely bad for our community.

I think even those who are question after death must also hope there a place in hell waiting for them..

Dude I read that thread, what vile human beings they are. I dont understand this suba dude is an atheist so why he wears turban. Indian state has mastered the art of putting these traitors in power. They are purposely made to look like us to fool us.

I'm not going to argue on if Sidhu moose Wala was a good person or not, but all I will say ,which I think is something all of us can agree on, is that the Indian government can and will use this excuse to increase forces in Punjab. Remember the sequence of events. 3 days ago Sidhu moose Wala expressed support for Simranjit Singh Maan and for Khalistan. 2 days ago,his security was removed. Yesterday he was assassinated. Does it not seem planned and another poor coverup?

Keep in mind that the anniversary of Operation Bluestar is in a few days time. I don't feel it's a coincidence. It doesn't matter if Sidhu was a good person or not, but based on all other events happening, it seems very likely that he was used as a scapegoat to let the Indian government go on with another plan that will help them gain control of Punjab. (E.g extra military presence and police presence)

There will normally be extra military presence in Punjab for operation Bluestar anniversary. I wouldn't be surprised if after these forces enter Punjab , they don't leave.

    Bhul Chuk Maf ji

Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh

100%. People are saying they have increased military presence in cities like fategrah sahib and all.

If you think I'm talking tatti, then fair enough.

But go listen to ANY Katha performed by the panth's great sants, mahapurash, gianis, kathavachaks of the past 60 years, and you'll not hear anything negative about Mohammed and Islam as a valid belief system.

You'll hear criticism of Islamic PRACTICES or rituals performed by those who say they're Muslims, but you'll NEVER encounter a fundamental disavowal of the validity of Islam as a path to God.

Then how can we utilise Sikhi to dismantle Islam when it's always remained in it's good graces?

Didn't Sant Jarnail Singh say that a Muslim should be a good Muslim, a Hindu a good Hindu, etc? There was no, "Muslims should leave Islam" or "Islam is false." Even in relatively recent Sikh history our leadership has sought to make bridges with Islam. What part of Sikhi can we use to stand against Islam that doesn't make it seem like we're just making up 5hit to combat them? Our religious leadership hasn't ever given us ANY ammunition against them. Why?

No but tell me does gurbani say pilgrimages, fastings are useless. Yes or no?

  8. 1 minute ago, MisterrSingh said:

Lol, yes, it condemns the HINDU and it condemns the "TURK" for not following their religion properly. Show me where it says Hinduism and Islam are false religions according to Sikh scriptures. Like I said, the follower who misses the point of his religion is chastised by the writers of Sikh texts. The religions themselves aren't doctrinally dismantled, analysed, disproven, or castigated. Come on!

if it states that pilgrimages, fasting, circumcision , idol worship is wrong then how can hindu and muslim dharam be true. So you think Muslims are misinterpreting their religion? BS. They are literally doing everything in accordance to their scriptures. English translations are available all over. It literally means that being born into a muslim or hindu family doesnt mean the person cannot be close to god unlike Islam where if you are born into a non muslim family , you are going to hell. Sikhi states Karmi apo apni ke nede ke door aka one's karam determines how close or far away from God someone is.

  9. 5 minutes ago, MisterrSingh said:

Rubbish. It doesn't say anything like that at all. Gurbani decries the ritual of Islam and all religions that veer from the path of worshipping one God. It doesn't condemn the faith; it condemns the follower.

bro it literally says hindu anna turku kana.  It literally says i do not fast or perform pilgrimages. Literally anti 5 pillars of islam. It means that just because someone is born in a Muslim family doesn't mean they cant be close to god. Look at bhai Mardana, bhagat kabir ji. They were born into muslim families but were they Muslims according to Islam? NO. Their actions and beliefs were not in accordance with Islam.

It seems the past 10 years of feeding the Sikh mind with Sufi / Islamophilic culture has done its job. Its softened up the Sikh mind to open themselves up to people they should keep at arm's length. I don't believe any of this romanticisation of Islamic culture in Punjab over the past few years is an accident.

yup. I was reading about how cleverly sufis converted the people to islam here on the subcontinent. People are so dumb man. They think with their feelings rather than use their brain. Also the promotion of sikhi says to love all. It gets me so angry. Then sikhs have inferiority complex and want to be in everyone's good books.
