  2. PRITAM SINGH KHALSA, umm yeah ... thanx for that bro I go double vision now lol
  3. I agree 100% I've read the story 4 times now and still I find it extraodinary and bizzare. I mean a case of sexual hassesment once or twice would be believable but 4 or more times by different individuals I mean either she is the un-luckiest girl in the world or this is yet another attempt by evil minded invidiuals to create sensetionalist nonsense in the guise of creating awareness when their actual agenda is to hate on sikhs or create suspicion/fear against a specific gender. Either way why would anyone go into such details and depth's with this story on a public reliigious forum.... @ some foolish ppl on the forum are so naive and gullable in the extreme for falling for such stories when theirs no shred of evidence and everyone is quick to jump on the bandwagon without anyalsis of the story and facts.
  4. GOTTI? Whats that mean? is that something in italian lol @
  5. I think galloway makes good points on some issues such as lebnanon but other issues like iraqi and islam he just plays into the hands of the islamic facists. And islamics are like the nazis they want to take over the world with their barbaric globalist backward agenda. Galloway doesnt see that cos he been seduced by various hot muslim chicks who support his views, his ex wife was muslim too.
  6. That is completely out of order deleting the original message of the poster when below her original message we've given our views in good faith, now it seems like what we've said in reply to her time at university is out of context. http://www.sikhsangat.com/index.php?showtopic=19695 Why was it removed? what kinda policy is this that upon request the original thread message is removed there was a lesson to be learned from her experiences at uni and now its been lost cos of change of heart.
  7. But netherless whether this story is true or not, if a panji is harressed she should report it to trusted person in community and the accused can be monitored and dealt with its simple as that. Theres no shame in outing the pakandi's from the faith. It's your right and duty to do so, thats wot my view is anyways.
  8. Pakistan releases Afghan Sikh journalist [ 9 Aug, 2006 1738hrs ISTIANS ] KABUL: Pakistan has released an Afghan Sikh journalist who was arrested on the Pakistan-Afghan border and tortured on charges of being an Indian national, and also apologised over the 'mistreatment'. Spokesperson of the Radio and Television of Afghanistan, Anwar Wafadar Samandar, informed media persons in Kabul Wednesday that Pakistan had expressed its apology over the arrest of Dayal Singh Ganjana. Ganjana was arrested by the Frontier Corps on the Pakistan-Afghan border at Spin Boldak while on his way to attend the International Conference on Pushto Literature in Quetta city of Pakistan. Samandar said Ganjana was handed over to the Pakistani intelligence agency. He was tortured. Their charge was that he was an Indian national. "Pakistan must not have behaved in such a manner," Samandar said. Ganjana is a highly respected expert of the Pushto Service of the Afghan national broadcaster, Radio and Television of Afghanistan (RTA). He was going to Quetta, capital of Balochistan, as a member of an Afghan delegation of journalists, poets and writers. The delegation had the official permission to attend the conference. At the border post at Spin Boldak, a Pakistani officer allowed them to enter, but immediately on crossing in to Pakistan territory, their vehicles were seized and searched. The Pakistani militiamen behaved in an extremely rude and insulting manner. The delegation protested and returned back to the Afghanistan side of the frontier check post. But, Ganjana was not allowed to go back by the Pakistani guards. He was handed over to the Pakistan intelligence agencies. The National Radio and Television of Afghanistan had taken up the matter with the Afghan foreign ministry strongly. The Afghan Journalists Union had also protested.
  9. On the internet, you never can tell if something is fake or not, but you'd have to have no life and be pretty pathetic to make something like this up. I wouldn't be surprised if it was made up, though. Yup exactly, some ppl have no lives they will make up anything to draw attention to false stories without evidence. It's a shame really cos we as Sikhs should not believe in rumours but seek the truth and if someone is gulity and the testimony is true they shud provide evidence for making such damning allegations against ppl. Yet ppl who have agendas 's come on this site and post things knowing its all false just shift attention somewhere else. Like some girls, will suprising make up false rape allegations up, which is comparable to the act of rape itself. Because it demeans the real rape victims and destroies the lives of ppl who were falsely implicated in rumours and allegations.
  10. Ok best thing to do is flag those videos as offensive in the alert combo box it has and also write to youtube via email about the content of that video and why you find it religiously/ethnically/raciallly offensive, which I believe is against youtube terms and conditions. They removed militant's vid posting of burning of indian flag lolz youtube mods take the p*$$ too much.
  11. For some reason I find this story hard to believe. Talk about bad luck or what but its too far fetched.. no offence
  12. Can you people pls stop going off on a tangent and get back to the original topic or make another one if you want to discuss english vs gurmukhi translations.
  13. Great post I found that it interesting reading that. However similarly in many cases you can find mother/female figure who can be just as bad as a tryant as the male figure/father. Such as the recent case where a young sikh woman's mother-in-law treated her like a virtual house slave and the young woman won a court case against her. And in todays society, in the west, you can also find the easy going laid back lazy mothers, who have loose character and values themselves, and who do not give a dam about what her children get up to. Expecting their hubby, society or even the government to bring them up. One thing is for sure those parents who always critize their kids and never show love, support, affection and give them realtive freedom. Often make them rebel and turn against their wishes.
  14. Sikhs want to put their ashes in the Ribble By Caroline Innes river hope: Sikhs want part of the Ribble to scatter loved ones' ashes LANCASHIRE'S Sikh community has called for part of the River Ribble to be set aside for families to put the cremated bones of their loved ones. The Sikh religion dictates that the cremated remains of family members are immersed in the nearest flowing river. However many Sikh families are forced to take the bones and ashes of family members back to India to be disposed of because there isn't a designated waterway. Today Charanjit Singh Heera, general secretary of the Lancashire Sikh Association said that, while he knew that people were already scattering ashes and bones in the River Ribble, the community wanted part of the river to be a designated site to be used solely for this ceremony. continued... Mr Heera said: "We believe that people should be put back into the water as all water flows as one. "We would love to see a designated place for Sikhs where we could go peacefully and privately to say our prayers and goodbyes. "We want to be somewhere where we won't disturb people and they won't disturb us and the remains can be scattered properly in a place where they will be properly distributed in the water." Mr Heera said that for many families taking the remains of a loved one back to India was stressful and he hoped better facilities could be provided in Lancashire. He added: "When my parents died I had to fly back to India with their ashes. "I was shocked and tired by the time I arrived at Delhi airport and then had a five-hour drive to the holy place where we scattering their ashes. "It would be so nice if there was somewhere in Lancashire where families could go to do this so they didn't have to go through all that. "It would also mean that they could go back and visit the site and remember their loved one whenever they wanted. "I know people have already done this in the River Ribble but it would be better for everybody if there was one set spot for us to use." A spokesman for the Environment Agency, who manage the River Ribble, said: "There is currently no a specific area, like in Bradford, where Sikhs can scatter their ashes. "However chosing a designated space on the River Ribble is something that we will consider and we have no problems with members of the Sikh community disposing of their loved ones remains in this way."
  15. Jet Airways starts Amritsar-London flights By Indo Asian News Service Amritsar, Aug 4 (IANS) Jet Airways Friday started its flights directly between Sikh holy city of Amritsar and London. This is the first direct flight from here to London. Earlier, there was an Air India flight from Amritsar to Birmingham. The flights from here are likely to help the Punjabi diaspora settled in Britain and other European countries. Earlier, they had to go to Delhi to take flights to Britain. The new flights would also attract tourists wanting to see the city's famous Sikh religious shrine - the Golden Temple. Chief Minister Amarinder Singh flagged off the inaugural flight. Jet officials said that three flights would operate between Amritsar's Rajasansi airport and London's Heathrow airport. He said Amritsar had become an important international airport in the past couple of years with 82 flights being operated from here every week. More airlines wanted to start flights from here due to heavy business of non-resident Indians and tourists, he said. Jet Airways officials said they were planning more international flights from Amritsar. They said a Chandigarh-Amritsar flight was also being proposed. Copyright Indo-Asian News Service

  20. Wow you would expect a cold blood killer of sikhs would have more sense to lie low but giving out his personal stuff on his own website just shows that he is one arrogent son of a <banned word filter activated>. Probably has full z-class protection from the indian govt, and confident enough to give his <banned word filter activated> out like that. I hope hope this murderious state terrorist is taken out exactly the same way he ordered sikhs to be attacked.
  21. This battle is not even taught in British schools let never mind India. Even when I was learning about British empire in history lessons they didnt even cover the "British Raj" of the Indian subcontinent. But we can do our bit by publishing what Sikhs did for these nations. We all have the tools in this new age of technology to make short documentaries and other media to inform people on popular websites such as youtube.com.
  22. yes missy...there is a prob you aint gonna get far in life if you keep doin what youre doin.. i know why youre a member of this site.... stop wasting other people's time. What is she doing what are her intentions? PM me if you want I'm not comfortable with "bad girl" or her steadfast buddy "manjot" either from day one they posted. Something not right about them One thing is for sure that theres many non-sikhs who visit and registered on this site with intentions to distort or deflect real issues into some other nonsense.

  24. Read this http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/west_midlands/5223638.stm One of the founding charactaristics and principles of a democratic nation is the ability for its population to demonstrate and protest peacefully in a so called free land. Yet this judgment ruling proves Britian is increasing become a police state with powers to stop and disperse people from protesting. :D I wonder where the civil liberty groups are now. Why are they slient when state oppression is happening right in front of their eyes.
