okay.... well... my request isn't very difficult... i jus want a list of things said/done by rss against sikhs, and their dates (along with some verification -i.e. newspaper, speches/video etc...)

Ignorant people will always be around. We just have to know how to deal with them. Also, more a reason for all sikhs to learn self defence, especially eslders. The elders are the easiest targets wit their pot-bellies n all... we shud encourage all our parents and elders to get into shape and learn how to defend themselves, as well as the youth.

i guess my Daree will attract its own share of sun rays too :D

sum1 once told me something in re: to giving fateh.. he said if only one person says it Guru Gobind Singh Jee is only facing that one person (i.e. giving fateh back to that person)... but if both people say it, Guru Sahib is in between them, saying fateh to both of them at the same time... thats why when sum1 gives fateh, u shud say it at the same time, rather then waiting for them to say it first, and then replying...

I think the problem is when sum1 greets another person with a Fateh, and the other person doesn't reply with a fateh.. i THINK techno singh was implying that the show host greeted aunty with a Fateh, and he presumed she replied with 'sat sri akaal'... a Fateh must be replied with a Fateh... in my opinion at least..

the majority of these people are talkin some nexx stuff... has nothing to do with the case at hand really or the questions asked by punjab radio.. perhaps some youth shud call and give some input...

haha yeh ... she called and was like 'kon boldaya?' haha.. but the uncle that called after brought up a good point... here punjab radio is tlakin bout this incident (about the girl and the kara) and bringing light to the issue.. but why didn't punjabi radio attend the demonstration?

how can it be confirmed that other groups, such as RSS, were involved in this? jus sayin that a lot of 'anti sikh' groups' name gets thrown around in incidences like this, but can it be confirmed that other groups were involved in this?

Giuliani won't get elected... he's gone down from 32% to 12% in the last couple of months.. nobody really cares about him... I REALLY hope republicans don't get elected again... they're like the 'rednecks' of american politics.. haha.. I think overall Obama would be a better candidate for the Democrats... and i's not jus Obama with the 'hot head'... the last couple of debates, him and hillary have been goin back n forth... from wha i've seen he knows about the economy, health care, immigration policy, and the war, pretty well..

What are all the things RSS has done to the Sikh community or said about the Sikh community (that can be confirmed it was said/done by RSS)? I heard something about them posing as sikhs at a baisakhi parade a while back, and opened fire on the sangat?? was that them?

y'all notice that Obama is one letter away from being "Osama" hehe... USA's economy will not get any better under Republican leadership... will only get worse.. Democrat gov't is the only way america gonna get ANY better, if at all..

It doesn't matter if ur gettin discouraged.. if people are discouraging you then that shows you how little they know of sikhi and now narrowminded they can be... If you feel u want to wear a dastaar, then wear one... maybe the next samagam you go to, you can ask sum1 there to teach you... perhaps there mite be a keski/dastaar wearing bibi that can help you... if not, jus get one of the singhs to help you.. don't ever let anybody discourage you in your path of spirituality... Bless..

There's a way to speak about things to elders... U can find another elder that shares ur opinion and get them to talk to the people who are doing it, or u can speak to one of the elders on ur own afterwards in private, and politely and respectfully let them kno that they shouldn't be talkin in darbar hall etc...
