  1. There is a gurdwara in there. 4th pic is of a gurdwara. that tkc bus is a joke lol. I dont think that passes the MOT. Shud be crushed.
  2. We are all responsible for our own actions. Yes i can GUARANTEE i would never rape a woman. So u admit he raped the bibi, yet still support such a man? I'd like to remind you that the discussion of Raagmala is forbidden on this forum.
  3. I see. Bhai Gajinder Singh , the inspirational Leader of the Dal khalsa movement is in exile, perhaps in Pakistan? So does it seem shocking to you that Pakistan is in the equation. Gurmail singh malhi, the shere party powerhouse (currently ruling party of Southall Singh Sabha) hosted that basant mela at his Monsoon venue. Any views??
  4. Yes yes, the newly arrived punjabi mundeh really holding it down yeh? Yes i can see how getting drunk every friday and falling over the streets is holding it down in southall. The newly arrived punjabi mundeh are mostly victim to alcohol and get drunk all too often during India cricket matches. IF india win they hit the Broadway in a similar fashion and cause havoc dancing around drunk in India shirts and flags. I live here. I've seen it. Its all Jatt display, not sikh.
  5. Are u allways this impetious or are u playing? Sarpanch is nowhere in the video, and u know that. As usual your anti-muslim bantering takes a turn on a pro khalistani. He has no part of muslim-sikh federation. Who handed u the membership list for u to claim that? Put a tight lid on your wild claims. Many Hindustanis made outrageous claims that Sant bhindranwalle was a pakistan agent, and I can clearly see where you get your thinking from. Your also the same guy that stupidly said in the other topic "The brahmins have not held power in Punjab for over five hundred years and yet we still blame them for the caste system prevelant in Punjab" Where do u get your thinking from? seriously? If people start believing things u say to be true then we gonna have mass confusion. Think a little before u say things.
  6. heres the pakistan celebrations in southall... people standing on bus stop shelters and on buses themselves! crazy. was loads of them
  7. look raja hindustani, If u want to drink water from maan singh pehowala's feet then thats your thing ok, im not gonna get in between that LOL. Go ahead....do that. But remember hes a rapist so dont let your guard drop or we might have another case on our hands. As for your Indian torture comment... Thats even more reason for sikhs to ask for Khalistan, not a deterrant.
  8. ok, but thats the pm's related to these issues. what happened to the reply to my pm? the 1 about the adress to which KPS gill comes to in the uk when he stays with a family here in London. I didnt get a reply to that pm...ages ago... pm me that adress plz
  9. So what if she got "KHALISTAN" under her name in red? Do not use Khalistan issue to blackmail her. Do sikhs not deserve the right to call for khalistan after all that has happened? This is not a mona vs singh issue. It is about a Baba with serious rape allegations. KHALISTAN ZINDABAD <<<< and thats also in red! :D
  10. After Pakistan won the world Twenty20 Cricket tournament, Southall Broadway was swamped with pakistan supporters roaming around by car horning and on foot with Pakistan flags. Caused alot of traffic and was very noisy last night, but no violence took place towards sikhs. Nor was there any racist chants. Sikhs went about their everyday business as normal. In Birmingham however, I heard bout some singhs getting slapped up during the Pakistan victory celebrations. I think some areas certainly have bigger problems than others. It varies depending on the area and population of sikhs.
  11. Intresting... Your Akaal Muay Tai classes are held at the Southall Community hall, yet you say that you have had no support from any Gurdwara Comittee. The Southall Community Hall was recently purchased by Gurmail Singh Malhi, the man who is widely considered to be the financial powerhouse of the Shere party, the current ruling committee of Singh Sabha Southall. classes being allowed to be held at the southall comminty hall is a mild indicator that the Gurdwara Comittee is in support, in my opinion. Do u not agree?
  12. Why are you calling yourself a "ravidassia" Sikh? You've just proven his point, no matter if he's a ravidassi, a sikh or neither. I think she has a valid point.
  13. thats me with the dumalla jee and yes i do wear the kirpan guru sahib kirpa Your on the Sikh side though yeah?Like for the Kirpan ,did they say anything lol ofcorse im on sikhs side when it comes to shaster kirpaan...or anythng else thhat guru sahib blessd us with...no one said anything to me about my kirpaan but i have pks of the protest i have about 60 will all the post that they were holding and it shows what they sed on ther i also have a leaflet that says they wana ban kirpana and what not. i was ennoyd that they wud wana ban kirpaan...but u have to understand the reason to y they wud want to know...im not taking there side but we have to open out eyes insted of being narrow minded hunna....but hanjeee the banning is not right deffo isnt...i dnt think they understand the power of kirpan and shaster and what they are there for.... when they need to be protected a gursikh with a kirpaaan will protect them....if we dnt have kirpana how are suppsda protect.....we all neeeed to be educated about each other :D Nope no sarcasm intended. Just curious
  14. thats me with the dumalla jee and yes i do wear the kirpan guru sahib kirpa hmm thats odd, did u not see the "ban these weapons" plaques until after?
  15. He did not insult sikhs. What caste is a khalsa? THose who abandonn caste will not feel insulted by the remarks.
  16. Thats what i was thinking. My mate lives near chancery lane, i can have it checkd out.
  17. what for? We dont even know what they gonna talk about. He could talk about sura 4 of the quaran about women's role in islam for all we know. Theres many progeammes across the uk like that. theres no evidence to suggest they gonan say anything against sikhs. U just shown us a date of a random muslim event. Can u be a little more specific? u said that the preacher said things against sikhs. what did he say exactly? Why hasnt any1 else in southall mentioned anything anout that day? Take it easy with your comments mate, dont think that every1 just drives around in southall with nothin better 2 do. Message me your mates number. I will call him/link him and ask him what happened myself. If its true then we will all take appropriate measures to stop it from happening again. Meantime i think we shud keep an eye out on sunday 4pm in that area (the time u stated).
  18. Heres a video i came across on youtube...I know some of you will like it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnPZqBh3R-s Also here is a link to some photos of the protest in London. http://www.facebook.com/photo_search.php?o...r=&view=all This photo shows an idol of Bhagat Ravidass in the "gurdwara" it says. I hope that doesnt mean that there is SGGS in the same building as an idol then? Can some1 investigate this. http://www.facebook.com/photo_search.php?o...mp;id=753600354
  19. If his message had not been in line with the Guru's own message, then his baani would not have been included in SGGS. A great Bhagat
  20. Bruva, what are u on about? seriously... There are no muslims outside Iceland (south road) preaching how sikhs are "dirty/unclean/false". And i think you know this too... The youtube video your on about is from 2 years ago and it was posted on sikhsangat many times. This was a 1 off small rally which happened 2years ago. Since then no Muslim openly preaches hatred in southall. Yesterday u say??? I walk down South Road almost everyday, and never have i seen muslims preaching anything. How is it people from COV apparently know more about southall than people that live in southall..? Ask the residents. From my honest observations, i have seen 1 muslim stall on Southall Broadway on Saturdays which is set up outside Bank of baroda. On that stall there are 3 preacher type men standing there, not doing hardly any talking, just distributing some leaflets. The leaflets have been checked thoroughly, and there is nothing anti sikh on the leaflets to date. If there was any anti-sikh preaching going on in Southall, I would know about it. Can u get the SP boy to talk to me about this incident please? message me.
  21. use 1 of the most famous accounts in sikh history and the earliest account of SIkhi being distinct from Hinduis. At the age of 10, when the pandit came to Guru nanak to place the janeyo and initiate him as a brahmin.... Guru Nanak rejected the janeyo claiming that he had no faith in such things and how he had no need for 1. Guru Nanak also said that it is not strings but our actions that determine our fate. THis in reality was a big slap across the face of the Pandit and of the superstition/rituals associated with Hinduism. From this day it was clear that The young wise Guru had started a seperate system which was unique and stood alone.
  22. that was a good egg attack. In his news interview if u scroll down the page he said "i dont think tax payers will be pleased knowing this is costing us money". Actually im not dissapointed my tax is going towards egging people like nick griffin, especially considering what tax payers money has been spent on recently in the expenses scandal. Rather it be on things like egging BNP than phantom mortgages. Looks like The OLd BOY GRIFFY doesnt like eggs much..ha ha..
  23. Ah Yes...the old "sikhism was influenced by islam" argument. Many muslims try this one. They often talk about Guru Nanak visiting mecca and also the shawl which he had with arabaic verses from the quaran..yes famous arguments they love to use. Well best way to answer this <banned word filter activated> is to simply educate him a little in sikh History. Tell the fool : --that your correct, Guru Nanak did travel to Mecca. But he travelled many hundreds of miles on foot to spread the messsage of God. One of these places happened to be Mecca, because Muslims hold this place as the holiest on earth. Since muslims in mecca circled the kaaba and regarded it as the exclusive house of God, Guru Nanak thought it necessary to travel there and enlighten muslims about how god did not only reside in mecca, but everywhere. Tell him, about how Guru nanak rested with his Feet pointing directly towards the kaaba. And tell him about how he was approached in anger by the temple priest about his actions. Then Guru nanak said "please point my feet in the direction that god is not". And how the priest could not do so, since God was everywhere. Guru nanaks journey to mecca was a journey to enlighten muslims about God not belonging to muslims exclusively, but belonging to all of mankind. Nor did god reside in mecca alone, but everywhere. It is impossible to escape god , guru nanak taught the muslims in mecca. ---THe shawl that Guru Nanak had with arabaic verses from the quran enscribed on, is a common argument the muslims use to make sikhs question their belief. The Shawl itself did belong to Guru Nanak yes.... but tell the fool that it was a gift given to him when Guru ji visited Baghdad (iraq). The Muslim priest gave it as a gift to the Guru. It was a famous custom in those times for holy people to give gifts to other holy people, as was it a custom to accept with politeness. The muslim priest knew Guru Nanak was a great person, so he gave him a gift as he visited Baghdad, and Guru ji kindly accepted. Thus it became the proerty belonging to Guru Nanak. Now that does not make someone muslim simply because they have a few arabic verses on a shawl given to them as a gift.. ALso use the example of the Bible gift. I have a Bible at my house which was given to me by a jehova witness. i have it at my house on my bookshelf. I have also read it. But that does not make me a Christian simply because i have a bible at home given to me as a gift. I also have a english translation of the Quran at home which was also given to me as a gift one time. That does not mean im "influenced" by Islam. I know 1 singh who has 3 bibles at home, it does not make him anymore christian than me lol. One does not become muslim by recieving a gift from a muslim. --Tell him, while in Baghdad , Guru Nanak had extensive dialogue with Muslim scholars there. In one dialouge with a pir there, the Guru contradicted the ISLAM belief of there being 7 heavens and 14 regions. Guru stated that there are countless earths and regions, contradictory to Islam. --Quote him the line from SGGS, which says ... "hindu anaaa turkoo khanaa" . It translates as "the hindu is blind, the muslim is one eyed". Tell him that and see what he says about that. The Turk of that time was described as one eyed, because they failed to see god in anyone else but themselves...Much like the attitude of the person who is arguing with u at your work place. This very Arrogance of thinking only muslims belong to god is why they were described as "one eyed" . --They may also use Bhagat Kabeer in an argument by claiming he was a muslim saint. Mention to him that the great Bhagat Kabeer was raised by muslim weavers but yet never said he was muslim. He saw himself as a human in the brotherhood of mankind above all. In all of his 500 verses of bani in SGGS, nowhere will you find him stating that he is a muslim, nor hindu, nor sikh nor sufi. In his own words he said "the child of Allah and of Raam". --Sikhs do not believe in altering their body to become religious (reffering to circumsition), nor triming their beird. Sikhs believe in the natural form as god gave it. --Tell him Sikhs do not believe in Pilgrims, but Muslims believe in HAJJ to mecca being crucial. --Also mention that Sikhs do not believe in pointless Fasts as Muslims do. Sikhs dont see any point in starving themselves to further their jeevan. Its pointless --In no mosque will you find 4 doorways. harmander Sahib has 4 doorways. This has a big meaning and has not been done by any other religion. --Step in any gurdwara you will be fed with langhar. This also is unique. Has any mosque provided arrangements for langhar paani? --Unlike Islam, Sikhism has given a place for all people from all backgrounds in SGGS. whether its Bhagat kabeer, jaidev, ravidass. All have a place. Islam has not provided that in the quran. So how are they alike? --Sikhs do not regard as the body as important after death. We see it as a vessel which can return to dust/earth after cremation. In Islam they believe in burial for judgement day ressurection. So they believe in keeping the body burried until that day arrives. --Mention that If Sikhism was so heavily influenced by Islam, then why in sikh history have Sikhs GLADLY given their HEADS rather than become MUSLIM? Clearly because Sikhi is a distinct system which is not influenced by Islam, and sikhs have felt it worth dying for. --Finally Bhai mardana ji was a muslim, and a close friend of Guru Nanak. He followed Guru Nanak around on his travels. As a muslim he was fascinated by the guru's teaching of God. THis is an example of how sikhi influenced Muslims, not vice versa. ALso after the guru left the earth, Muslims and Hindus both fought over the rites of the blanket which had been covering the Guru's body. So this proves that SIkhism was not influenced by islam, but rather Sikhism had an impact on some Muslims instead. Tell him all this, then give him a kind patt on the back telling him that Sikhism was not influenced by Islam, but infact alot of muslims were impacted and influenced by the beauty sikhism.
  24. this video from project 25 shud be played at the next united nations human rights confrence
