Maybe they needed it.... lol no offense, but I've never met anybody that's complained like you guys and I've met people that have praised it, and they never mention that crap, and they're great peeps I dunno if you guys are lying or what lol; I guess I'll just have to go to find out :umm:
  2. lol, I wonder if anybody got you that quote yet... we're SOO off topic; not saying I disagree with what's been said though...
  3. Well put :umm: I just wanted to re-emphasize this, cuz I thought it was good...

I wanted to go sooo bad this year, but I gotta wait till next year cuz I already made plans for this summer before hearing about the camp :umm:
  5. :umm: I didn't think of that when I saw it right away, but you're right we shouldn't make assumptions; my bad But you shouldn't assume that he's all goody-good either then, right? :umm:
  6. Well, same for the first one; doesn't look like he even washed his hands Yeah, I agree with you; what's the point in having it so small? Still, interesting post.
  7. lol, if we're giving real responses, then it all depends on how deep you are, and how good the umbrella is... and if you have real strong guns lol :umm:
  8. Oh okay, I get it now; I thought that, but wasn't sure... lol, you probably don't believe me hahhaa well, IMHO, it's okay in moderation, sometimes it sounds cool just to hear the guy do it, but some people that I've heard do it WAAAAY too much, and then it takes away from the shabad. Like Devinder Singh if you've heard him (the brother of Gulbagh Singh and Dilbagh Singh, now the middle keertanee); sometimes he does it and it sounds good because he's good at it, but, like one time, they did it like 10+ times on ONE LINE, not even joking, and they were long too; it was at Harmandar Sahib.
  9. cus you must be upside down :umm: Just to clarify, I think this one wins :umm: lol
  10. Yes, I can totally open an umbrella underwater; why do you ask, you can't? pshhh
  11. What do you mean by sargam? Doesn't that just refer to "sa re ga ma..."? If so, don't the raags have to be done using the right "sargams"? I'm just confused at what you mean...
  12. If you actually think she'll convert to sikhi and you can help her, then go for it (maybe... I personally wouldn't, but if you think you guys have that strong of a bond or whatever...), but if not, then you're just giving the world another example for why it doesn't matter if they cut their hair, they can still do anything they want (ie marry a Sikh boy). Think about the Sikh community bro...
  13. I don't recall reading that in the the SGPC version; is it in there too?
  14. That line doesn't seem to have backup from the gurbani lines found above it (Page 31). Like right above it, the line translates to: "Be faithful to your one wife, see others as your daughters and sisters, (for women you must be faithful to one husband and see others as your sons and brothers)." None of the other lines mention thinking of your spouse as God either, only to be faithful to them. I'd think it's just a bad translation of the original maryada probably.
  15. :umm: I just went there lol Yeah, you can DL them there
  16. My point exactly, thanks :umm: This is what I mean; we can't just ignore the hukum's, even if we disagree; that takes away power from the Akal Takht (if everyone ignores it), so even if we got a good Jathedar, by then he wouldn't be able to do anything good. Don't you guys agree? And guys the whole mom/dad thing should be for the pm's; I'm not trying to act like a mod or something, cuz I'm not, but just think about it...
  17. Can we stop quoting huge posts? You just destroyed my post  lool
  18. Just to clarify... The AKJ follows the Akal Takht rehit, with a bit added on, as far as I can know... The rehit was written by many people and took the BASIC views on Sikhism, so that EVERYONE could agree on something at least. So there's nothing wrong with ADDDING to the rehit, as long as you're not CHANGING it. Can you give any example please? I went to this retreat thing a couple weekends ago, and we discussed this topic, about adding to it but not changing it, and we decided that was the best thing to do. I mean what's wrong with AKJ if they say we have to, for example, read 5 banis in the morning, instead of 3..?
  19. I think it's bad when you ignore a hukumnama; I think that even if you disagree with it, we still have to follow it. You can argue it officially with Akal Takht, but you can't just start doing what you want until they amend their hukum. Now I'm not trying to get off topic, but... What do you mean by "jatt sikh"? Sorry, just kinda confused...

    Karra Issues

 Thanks for that; I just did some quick searches online, and I thought that was some interesting stuff, so I posted it guess I didn't know the topic 100%

    Karra Issues

Nickel is one of the most common causes of allergic contact dermatitis; a skin inflammation resulting in swollen, reddened and itchy skin due to direct contact with an allergen. Large amounts of nickel (often 8%) is added to stainless steel so that a hard oxide forms on the metal surface to inhibit corrosion. This is true with other kinds of steel as well, not just stainless steel, that's just the example  You can get 100% nickel free steel stuff, but I don't know where from... Or go with the straight up iron karra's--a lot of people argue that it's supposed to be 100% sarab loh anyways.
  22. I just kind of skimmed through the other posts, so this might be a repeat... But you sure he didn't mean that just saying it won't do any good, but you have to like mean it and actually feel something when saying it..? That's how I interpreted it when I first read it...
