Actually, wearing dastaar and 5k's is not the first step... the first step is to find out learn basics of sikhi, remember one step at a time. Wearing dastaar and 5k's and not knowing there' meaning is worse than not wearing it at all, because the individual doenst now it's meaning and it is basicaly just for show. I wore are simple head covering for months before weaing a dastaar, and i only have started wearing 5k's once i knew them. You can't be a gursikh or sikh overnight, it must be taken slowly, not all at once. actualy u can become 1 over night if mahraj wants u 2

i think you should start simran/kirtan sessions in the evnnigs first like say from 6 or 7 pm til 9 or 10 pm once a week as for amritvela i dont no if their are many people or what the sangat is like their to no if people wanna do amritvela but having it in the evennigs would attract more people i reckon even people who aint fully into sikh yet to attend a few gurdwareh sahibs in bham have this

there were aot of people that had gathered their for hours a few youth however decided to do kirtan in a room which could be heard all over the gurdwara sahib used their time wisely instead of jsut standing around

khalsa raaj will come through naam khalsa raaj will be one with sackhand and only the gurmukhs will dwell in khalsa raaj

yes a have seen a women in hijab go 2 gurdwara and even bow infront of mahraj

you cannot force people into sikhi it doesnt work only when they realise sikhi will they fix up.. and the way of brinig them into sikhi is parchar if they still aint into sikhi then thats their problem its them that will face dhram raj and will end up repenting and suffer

if they more intrested in other things then how can they be sikh? religion is a way of life which one chooses to live by .. if one doesnt live that way of life he aint part of that particular religion no1 is born a sikh one only becomes a sikh

again, punjabi/gurmakhi is not necesary, but it doesnt hurt to learn it. sikhi isnt a religion, it's a way of life. sikhi isnt a religion its a way of life? whats a religion then? i'm sure they the same thing by the way i think it is neccasry for people to learn gurmukhi i mean surely sikhs would want to do seva of mahraj and recite bani in its orginal form ?? not saying that reading in english is bad we should adopt both read english and gurmukhi
