In my opinion this is not about relationships....the theme is relationships for definate but I think the core of it is that she did not know how to deal with her emotions. Prehaps she needed to be more emotions aware and know how to deal with them in the right way. I think this is the reason why from a young age the Gurus taught us about the panj chor which are emotions. Basically we should realise that our thinking is affected by our emotions. If we are in a store and it plays our fav song we are more likely to spend money cos we feel happy. Its a strategy used by many stores. However the Guru's are trying to teach us to be objective and to be aware of how our emotions damage our thinking. For me this is the crux of the matter. She let her emotions do the thinking when instead if she was more emotionally aware she would have controlled them.

I can imagine our roles models discussing - we are taught to live in the world and not distance ourselves from it. We know enough to know that she over reacted with her emotions and killed. Also Balaite is a mod and as a mod his job is to check the board for spam. He cannot be biased and close threads cos its something he does not want to know about. In all honesty I respect wat u are saying but if ppl wanna discuss why not allow them? Afterall this thread has more meaning than the pointless 60 odd page person above thread.

I disagree. How you react to certain types of news depends on ure perspective. Some ppl in this thread are seeing SIKH girl and MUSLIM boy. However why can we just not see them as ppl....guy has fling with girl....says no to her and she stabs his wife. I don't think so. There should only be positive things if there is someting positive. I don't see why he had to tell his parents....he told her it was over and this is how she reacted. In the article it says he tried to break it many times and she knew about the marriage, instead she told him she wud be his second wife etc. If anything she was completely obssessed and had huge problems dealing with the rejection.

I disagree cos it says in the article he had dumped her....loadsa ppl on the planet are dumped but they all don't kill. Therefore as harsh as it sounds Harominder is in the plain wrong. Its her fault she could not control her emotions not the guys.

I reckon the person who was innocent in all of this was the murdered wife. Imagine she was only 17, in an unknown country, in an unknown place. She probably knew about the other kuri but has no choice but to put up with it. She gotgnant and the last thing she would have expected is for her and her baby to be knived!! I cannot even beging to think what her real parents, siblings etc are going through.

I have been saying this for ages....how comes they don't say christian person? Why is it that 'asian', 'indian' words get used? Wats the big deal with just saying a person...
