WJKK WJKF, Non-sikhs like muslims should be allowed to do keertan without restriction, because we dont expect them the be amrithari... but when born into a Sikh family, if you dont commit urself to your religion meaning take amrit, which isnt a choice it an order to us. Than how can you go on stage and do keertan which is basically preaching and singing praises of god and guru, when you dont follow it yourself. Am i the only one that see's a contradiction? Monai can do keertan at home, with their families, but I dont think non-amrithari's should do sewa such as chaur sahib, katha, keertan, at the gurdwara. Non-amrihtaris are also free to do other sewa around the gurdwara, theres so much sewa to be done. I know in some communities such as Ottawa there is not enough amritharis to allow the gurdwara to operate without the help of non-amritharis... but in places such as Brampton, Malton, Surrey, etc (where there are enough amritharis)... these types of sewas should be done be amritharis. AS IT IS STATED IN AKAL TAKHT MARYADA

no where in SGGS ji does it say men and women are equal , especially in the western sense... all guru ji says is we have to respect women cuz from them we are bron, kigns are born, etc... we are equal in the sense that both genders can achieve mukti... but 'feminists' take it to far,,, wats next are we gonna change waheguru ji ka khalsa , waheguru ji ki fateh, tooo waheguru ji KI khalsI, waheguru ji KI FATEHI... or will ppl say that the bibi should lead 2 lama, at an anand karaj, and the man the other 2...

Where does it say we have to wear 5 kakkars?, Where does it say we have to do sanskar of old gutkas? Where does it say we have to do nitnem every morning? where in SGGS Ji does it say Guru Granth Sahib Ji is guru:umm: your logic doesnt work... Just like any of our 5 K's which are suppose to be a part of our body we woudlnt throw in the garbage, Its respect even if your family is big, it isnt that difficult, just keep a small bag beside your dresser or wherever you comb your hair, and just put the hair in that bag everyday after combing your hair, than when the bag gets full, put it in a bigger bag that everyoen in your family also can put it in, and when that gets full just do sanskar.

If you people slamming the guy for not wearing a turban in a couple scenes haven't noticed, this movie is about DEEP SEA DIVERS, leave it to Sikhs to immediately go after the faults of one gursikhs accomplishments even when he's not doing anything wrong, how can you go deep sea diving with a full keski?!?! ridiculous. its not ridiculous... u can still wear a ramal or patka to keep your hair covered... ...also we should reserve judgement until we actually see the movie, it could be great... ...but if it has seens with him drinking, and going out with girls etc, it wont be great... but until we see it, we shouldnt knock it
