I think you as his brother/sister should talk to him and find out why he did it, i think its bcus of the ppl he hangs around with, not saying there bad ppl just that peers can influence you to do anything... And try to convince him that he is wrong nd get him to grow his beard agen..... hope everything gets better for you and your family .............

Kinda no how you feel i think most of us as british sikhs have been there, and at times you think some stupid thoughts that mess you up even more. my brother whos 7 asks some really weird questions sumtimes and even gets into fights at skool, but at the end of the day we all makesure that hes okay and wouldnt do anything that a sikh shudnt do. Im not gud at giving advice, but why dont you try and hangout with other sikhs and go to the gurdwara more where you feel eveyone the same as you nd if you can try 2 get your mum nd dad to stop those stupid habbits and become sikh 2(easily said than done, i know) Hope this helps.............. be proud of what you are........... :T:

Ive wanted to know that 2, I think that ppl that use this site are all different ages and thats a gud thing, cus not all ages have the same knowledge and its nice to know that ppl understand you and can answer things you dnt understand. im not sure that every1 on this site r amritdhaari cus im not (yet), but i do have the sikhi rehat, i dont cut my hair and so on... soo yeah thats about it

Yesterday there were 4 white amritdhaari gursikhs doing kirtan at sachkhand sri harimandir sahib and it was amazing!!! Their accent was 100 times better than mine and sounded better than other raggis because everything was clearly spoken. Last year when i went 2 Hemkunt sahib and hazoor sahib we saw lots of ppl from different backgrounds . I n my opinion i think that any1 and everyone are allowed to be part of sikhism and ppl that dnt allow other ppl to this religion are clearly not sikh bcus sikhism is about equality- any colour, creed or caste are authorised to go gurdwareh or any other religious events. I think as sikhs we shud learn from these ppl and encourage those around us to become part of the sikh family.

I dont no much about these ppl but all i wud like to say is ppl can make mistakes. i admit that in the past i have made lots nd lots of mistakes in my keertan, as long as you plea for sorry or correct yourself, but i'm not so sure about them not saying wjkk wjkf , i personally think that is as important as standing up in ardass...... i think thats disrespectful.... I did ask my teacher but she said that because Sikhism is a religion that is hardly taught in english schools , it is hard to say. She then looked it up on the exam board's site and they didn't explain much either. So i kind of like left it. But the thing is if you ask my teacher about any other religion - they have the answer!!!!!!!!
