  3. Ok. I agree to news article being objective...but even so, there was no need to put up Manmohan Singh's picture that has absolutely no link to the article. He could've put up the Australian MP's photo instead. I'm not on about any conspiracy or whatever. All I'm talking about is the targeted audience. The Sikhs reading this will have different views but the non-sikhs, who don't have much idea about '84 or the puppet PM, will most probably think what I've mentioned in the post above.
  4. No one knows and no one cares. Why should they? He is 'well' and alive. No one's bothered about him rotting in jail like the other several Singhs wrongly jailed. And then there are other shameless people who keep trying to prove him as a GOI agent. Honestly, had the hanging not been stopped...he would have become Shaheed and not once again forgotten by us all. A very sad state of affairs, indeed! Guru Maharaaj AAP Panth nu sehd bakhshan.
  5. Quite cunning I must say! They've reported about an Australian MP calling for recognition of 1984 killings as genocide. But they haven't forgotten to put up the photo of PM Manmohan Singh visiting Indira's grave! The first thing that could come to someone's mind is, " Well, he's is a Sikh. He doesn't seem to have a problem paying respect towards Indira Gandhi!" :huh2:
  6. "...meditation is not just blissing out under a mango tree..." :lol2: :excited:
  7. This is what he thinks about, after all that he's gone through. Guru Saheb Kirpa Karan. Absolutely beautiful!
  8. Every single person is on their own journey. They decide how they want to serve Guru Maharaaj and be close to them. I'm an Amritdhari but have no 'excess' facial Kes. Therefore, I have absolutely NO idea of what other bibian with facial kes go through, in everyday life; the bibian who cut their kes and who do not, alike. Not only that, I also have NO idea of how I would react or behave if, for whatever reason I start getting facial Kes (dhari). But cutting or plucking eyebrows just for the purpose of beautifying yourselves...is a big NO. Personally, I think its rude to go up to someone and tell them what and what not to do. Even if they're wrong!
  9. They're all either set to private...or duplicate of previously uploaded video or something. Anyhow, http://www.youtube.com/user/GurmatRuhaniMission The link above is for many other videos of Baba Waryaam Singh Ji if anyone would like to watch.

  11. Omg! Eh mere pir Di jugni.... Was AWESOME!!!!! About to listen to the next ones! Thanks for sharing!
  12. Brilliant! One has to be quite self-contained in order to be able to dismiss such honours. Although I still have some questions. How did the website linked in the original post get the letter? Wouldn't it have been a private correspondence? Lord Singh or the addressee, giving a copy of the letter to the media, sounds a bit unlikely.
  13. I can't understand. How did the disabled guy kill the cow? (P.S. just to add, I watched it on mute...so I might have missed it if they explained it somehow).
  14. Either the OP got married to a non-amritdhari...or he got Amrit without his wife by his side. In either case...WRONG!
  15. omg! Bhaji, thanks for sharing! I've been waiting for an upload since the day it was broadcast...I only got to watch the last few minutes that day.
  16. Waheguru! Thanks for sharing the video, Bhaji!

  21. All I can think of is a previous bad karam that is affecting your father to drift away from sikhi. I would strictly advise against talking to him about it...UNLESS he asks you himself. The reason being that he is an adult and he obviously has the understanding of what's right and what's wrong. And it might hurt his self-respect, if you explain what's right or wrong. Obviously, it's a different thing if your mother explains. Do let him know what you think about all of this when he asks you. And try to be very understanding, because when bad karam affects a person, it's only with Guru-Kirpa that one can face it. To get that Guru-Kirpa for him, I suggest you and you mother to do Ardas for him everyday. Also, if nothing changes, I believe you should still let him experience the kind of life he is choosing. (I do understand it's going to be hard for you and your mother.) If after experiencing this kind of life...he ever comes back to Gursikhi...I believe he'll be able to experience 'vairaag', for Guru Saheb is very compassionate.
  22. I agree. How exactly? I've always been anxious about what other solution could it have been.
