sangat still has its own importance.........a good 'sangat' i.e. company helps you build up your personality..........having a sikh sangat will help you neva get distractes 4m guruji........staying alone might&nbsp;push you in depression at times.....and a bad sangat -----in a ditch........... i believe having some sangat esp. sikh sangat is really very important!!! plz forgive 4 any mistake......

^you r absolutely right jio but!!!!!!! i think the topic starter had the same thing in mind........(i feel so)))))) that the word 'SANT' or 'BABA' has becum a title these dayz ... :sady: whereas baba is normally a word for the wise.......and sant ....many have already xplained ji i think that the problem of these words becoming a title these days is the actual thing we shud be discussing about........because we r all here to learn......and discuss in open... ok now baba is i think okay if we call someone because that only means to refer someone who is wise but when we call someone 'SANT'.......i feel its something irrelevant......coz its actually only guruji who knowz the inner core of the hearts of all....... who knowz that the person we keep on calling a 'SANT' is a thug in actuall terms and this is something that i have been thinking recently.....bhai gurdaas ji. bhai mani singh ji, baba deep singh ji etc. ........were no less than the 'SANTS' of today!!! why don't we start calling them as well as sants??????? i think it is a wrong trend these dayz......and we shud try to stop it by and by. and another......for sant baba jarnail singh ji............i call him the same way too........ because that is how everyone call him ji....... and if i just talk to sumone like ......jarnail singh ji.......the other one is just gonna be like :cool: ??????? who??? but i think even for him i shud start saying 'BABA JARNAIL SINGH JI BHINDRANWALE' because 'BABA' word doesn't matter coz he WAZ actually wise 'JI' is a word for respect and 'BHINDRANWALE' is how he is known. but his awastha is only known by guruji.... so from now onwards i shall try to stop refering him to as sant coz only guruji knowz we know nothing ji oh!!!!!!!!!!thats toooooo long i think!!!

i know that the user has just described his/her own opinion. but i have thought about this a lots many times. like why izit that the women of today's world should be bound according to what sth. shud/ or shud not have happened 3-4 centuries ago!!!!!?!?!??!?!?? i mean take the circumstances which were in india at those times when women weren't allowed to come alone out of their homes.........they had to cover their faces ----------GHUND KADNA...............and like they had nothing called a social status unless it was a princess or a queen.......i mean even a princess or queen was taken here and there in a covered palanquin........... but everything's changed the women of those times CANNOT be compared to the ones that are today. women today are more open and self-dependent........... i know of some situations where people say..."esp. 'girls' shud not get baptized b'coz they got to get married and go to an another home and what if the other family are not vegetarians or so......!!!!!" but ofcourse it not as much anymore.......... so i think rules shud change here too............. why shud women be bound acc. to what the women in 17th century cudn't do?!?!?!? oh!!!! and please anyone....do not take it personally ......... i mean it has often been a topic of discussion for me .... so i mean i thought to put it forward.

i m not sure if sikhi is the only way to reach god ............but erm i think sikhi shud be taken better as a lifestyle than a religion............because...........in a religion one can make choices to follow...........but erm i think.........either is one a sikh......or not!!!!! ((((((((((therefore......no more choices))))))))))))) because sikh means a student....and we r the students of guruji. when we follow what he says we will be called sikhs..............if not...........then not!!!!!!!!!!!!!

waheguruji ka khalsa waheugurji ki fateh jio well i think the main thing is to NOT to have the kaam feelings in ourselves....b'coz calling sum1 or not calling sum1 as penji or veerji doesn't make a difference as much as your effort in stopping these feelings does......due to the human hormones these feelings are quite natural...........the thing is to make effort by reciting the naam........... i m a moorakh ................i dunno anything jio but pleez just don't be angry if you don't like the views i just gave ............i mean like you people tend to just attack the other if you do not agree ..........erm well, sorry if anything oversaid ji
