  1. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh those posts are further evidence that isalm is messed up and unfair, aside from other things. They believe there's only one god allah who is the true god and god of muslims. there's no other god so noone else can be saved. To me it shows they have not met the true guru - the people on that forum at least. There are a lot of other things i could say but i won't i'll leave with some gurbani from guru granth sahib ji. NOTE- ਮੁਸਲਮਾਣੁ and ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ mean two different things, these people are the later. Here guru ji talks about the holy man, man of god the TRUE muslim musalmaan mom dil hovai. To be Muslim is to be kind-hearted, antar kee mal dil tay Dhovai. and wash away pollution from within the heart. dunee-aa rang na aavai nayrhai ji-o kusam paat ghi-o paak haraa. ||13|| He does not even approach worldly pleasures; he is pure, like flowers, silk, ghee and the deer-skin. ||13|| Here guru ji talks about the muslim musalmaan karay vadi-aa-ee. The Muslim glorifies his own faith. vin gur peerai ko thaa-ay na paa-ee. Without the Guru or a spiritual teacher, no one is accepted. AND ਮਃ ੧ ॥ The clay of the Muslim's grave becomes clay for the potter's wheel. Pots and bricks are fashioned from it, and it cries out as it burns. The poor clay burns, burns and weeps, as the fiery coals fall upon it. O Nanak, the Creator created the creation; the Creator Lord alone knows. ||2|| Those people are clearly ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ and not ਮੁਸਲਮਾਣੁ
  2. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh WOOAAAAAHHH guruvah ji we are not talking about a baba, a sant, or anyone who even keeps a few chele. This is a very very respected, to say the least, person in the taksal. ANYONE and i mean ANYONE can just go and talk to them and they'll give you a straight answer and have a normal conversation, their jeevan is amazing and they always talk in that classic beautiful sounding taksali way almost exactly like giani thakur singh ji. They are a chardi kala singh who, as bhaji said, give the best/most accurate santhia off by heart they know all the laga-matran. and i don't think bhaji has anything against him and in opposition i am for baba ji i'm sure singh ddt would agree with me in saying sodhi ji is a chardi kala singh. singh ddt just has a query or doesnt agree with something that sodhi ji says and i agree with it i guess. i wont post it on here, veer ji asked so i will keep it off forums. 4. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh PLEASE READ TOOK ME AGES TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK THANKYOU. right i heard someone debating and saying we don't know whether like karam are first or lekh or if certain things are not set. So i got to thinking I reckon the first time you come to earth akaal purakh has either written your lekh but you have no karam ( koi karam kumae ni hale) so you come on the earth and your lekh are set but your everyday karam arent. I don't have an in depth understanding or explanation to that but i hope you understand what i'm saying. eg it's written that you will go to the gurdwara, but what you do there is not concrete so you go there and cross paths with a chardikala singh who says come on lets do this seva for 5 mins then you can go or i need help with something which turns out to be seva and it makes those gharrean in your life safal (sorry with the mixed english-punjabi). I guess in my understanding lekh are things such as your age, how many children etc but i don't know, and then you do your own karam. In this case you do your own karam, as it mentions in gurbaani so many times and therefore set your lekh and your bhag and joon for the next life. This theory this goes for all life forms, if a sant touches a flower or an animal, it is saved or at least will have better lekh next time. OR your good lekh and karam etc are written from Vaheguru he makes us do everything but on earth you are battling against the five thieves who make you do the bad things and therefore when you back to akaal purakh your next lekh are written depending on how much you've managed to remember god and how much you've indulged and been controlled by the five. I got a few quotes from Guru granth sahib ji (there were loads more obviously): "ਹਉ ਹੋਆ ਮਾਹਰੁ ਪਿੰਡ ਦਾ ਬੰਨਿ ਆਦੇ ਪੰਜਿ ਸਰੀਕ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥ I have become the Master of my body-village; I have taken the five rivals as prisoners. ||4||" ਮਃ 5 - view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok "ਸੋਈ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਹੈ ਜਿਨਿ ਪੰਜੇ ਦੂਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਵਸਿ ਛਿਕੇ ॥ He is the True Guru, the Primal Being, who has totally conquered his five passions. " ਮਃ 4 - view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok "ਪੰਚ ਦੂਤ ਮੁਹਹਿ ਸੰਸਾਰਾ ॥ The five enemies are plundering the world. ਮਨਮੁਖ ਅੰਧੇ ਸੁਧਿ ਨ ਸਾਰਾ ॥ The blind, self-willed manmukhs do not understand or appreciate this. ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹੋਵੈ ਸੁ ਅਪਣਾ ਘਰੁ ਰਾਖੈ ਪੰਚ ਦੂਤ ਸਬਦਿ ਪਚਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੨॥ Those who become Gurmukh-their houses are protected. The five enemies are destroyed by the Shabad. ||2|| " ਮਃ 3 - view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok or sends you down (the first time) with no lekh which explains a lot, you come on the earth and do whatever you do of your own free will and if you're lucky enough to gain sadh sangat or just good sangat it stands you in good stead for 'the next time'. and if you do bad things then you have bad lekh next time. i don't think i've fully explained each one and there are probably loads of questions springing up. But this is just my dillusional thinking forgive me if i offend anyone, or write something wrong or against gurmat. bhul chuk maaf karni. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh
  5. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh, Please read this it took me nearly 2 hours and i know it shouldn't, sorry, but it does annoy me when the post is ignored just cause it really long, i have a slow brain. and i've tried to give answers but have questions as well. In reply to taksali singh, you wrote "firstly, im no writer, however when i read the poems i feel inspired to reach out to Guroo Saahib..." do you not feel as inspired by bani, if not more, or...forgive me, i don't know...but i guess this would be directed at everyone, maybe you don't understand/can't read bani that well in which case an effort should be made to do so and maybe read translations on the net rather than saying, i don't understand bani so i'll just read these poems. Also if you do understand bani and maybe the understanding of gurmukhi is lacking and you don't feel inspired by gurmukhi (???) then i think you should listen to katha and understand it and listen to and read translations as well reading gurmukhi. Forgive me if i'm wrong or lacking in knowledge in my reply. secondly "poems come from the heart, not with the intention of inspiring others but it acts as vent to release ur inner most thoughts and emotions. Thats the case for "Tera Darbaar" (i think)." i agree with this and and i guess i have no problem with the poet writing poems for his/herself to express their emotions. But i think poems which are about vaheguru or his kala should be kept personal and not be made public for others to read and then possibly contemplate on those words which are about vaheguru this is what makes it, in my humble opinion, wrong(sorry). This is where i believe when someones trying to get closer to vaheguru, they should read and understand bani and not say i don't understand it and therefore read someone's interpretation, forgive me, but that's what it is a PERSONAL interpretation. But again this is MY OPINION i don't know for sure if it's right or wrong, and i'm just being ignorant and not very understanding and maybe it is actually ok to write such poems i don't know and therefore would like to know why it's ok and why my opinion is wrong so that i can change it. following that - "No one can replace or compete with the power, strength, poetical form and rhythm of Gurbani and i believe no one intends to..." I totally agree "like i said its a way to put your thoughts and feelings into words and express yourself, whether this is done personally or put into the public domain is irrelevant as the main essence is to express one's feelings." Well i said what i think, above, about it being personal and shouldn't be public etc. please tell me what you think and maybe why i'm wrong "We need to try to judge the intentions and see whether they are pure or impure, that will then give us the understanding to see the good in all..." I know it might not've come across that way and i was writing with too much hunkar but i do understand that the poet had very good intentions and the good that was intended. Also i don't have a problem with historical poems like the one about 1984, it's just the one's about akaal purakh that i don't know whether they are right or not. "Im no one to dictate how to live ur life do so as u please," Yeah thats right, i will (only joking) if you can tell me how to be a better sikh then please do. "however, the Lord makes us do everything we do so all is Good, nothing is bad, all is True..." This is true for us and true unfortunately for people like nakali nirankaaris and nangs . The thing is maybe they have not been educated or gained the wrong education and sangat like me, or actually Vaheguru wrote their lekh in such a manner. But they can be helped by others like yourself and be given the right education. And especially if it's their first joon and they're human beings and have started doing vikaar Sorry i have this theory which , forgive me, i am going to explain and it's not even complete so i'm gonna sit here for ages getting it complete as possible before i write. right i heard someone debating and saying we don't know whether like karam are first or lekh or if certain things are not set. So i got to thinking I reckon the first time you come to earth akaal purakh has either written your lekh but you have no karam ( koi karam kumae ni hale) so you come on the earth and your lekh are set but your everyday karam arent. Forgive me if i missed the initial point completely and went off on a tangent and forgive me for my mistakes, or if i've offended anyone or said anything against gurmat. sangat bakhshan yog hai. 6. gur fateh singh ddt can i ask if you know who sodhi ji is
  7. what a predicament, you're going there as a sikh to watch your best friend shave their kids hair off. i guess it would probably be ok for you to go like the guys above said it'll just be a bit awkward.
  8. well errm where about usa is this? 10. it's all about tracy gurdwara.

have you ever been there to learn from sodhi ji. and do you know a guy calle paramjeet singh joothi aka pamma

  11. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh well i know they still make kirpanaan in bhindran and i'm guessing there must be singhs there giving vidya. 'taran dal' if you mean taran tarn then thats a good shout i remember something about singhs being there. But if your from uk i reckon usa is probably best. Well obviously mehta is first option because of the place itself and singhs and marayada. though same marayada is kept in usa (times and stuff) but they're a bit lenient on the students. At mehta its AWESOME WOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry bit carried away in reminiscence but its like santhia and kirtan twice a day and in between really you practice and do sangat and other fun stuff as well and you get to go on trips. In usa its sanhia 2/3 times a day you practice and get breaks and in the breaks we used to chill out but sodhi ji teaches so when your learning you learn. thats why i'd recommend mehta as only place i know that gives vidya and discipline and LAHA. 12. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh WHAAAAAAAT THE HEK Why is there an argument going on forgive me if i'm making the stupidist comment in the world and i've totally misunderstood but : GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI MAHARAJ IS OUR GURU, if guru ji wanted they could've easily dictated sri dasam granth to bhai mani singh ji and could've put any bani they wanted in guru granth sahib ji and they did. sri dasam granth sahib ji is to be held in very high regard but i just know the simple truth, only Guru Granth Sahib ji is our guru. Other granths we must read and respect but they were not given the status of dasan pathshahian ji di jot, akaal purkh vaheguru, vaho vaho bani nirankar hai, Guru of the sikhs. Only Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji were. I apologise if i offended anyone or said anything wrong, sangat bakhshan yog hai. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh
  13. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh mahapursho where are you from, uk usa india?????? Well if ur uk i think there are singhs at leeds gurdwara still ahhh can't remember the singhs name. Anyway i don't know if giani preetam singh ji southall is giving lessons, they might if you ask them, they said i could stay with them during summer to learn and stuff if i wanted so you might be able to as well. usa, sodhi ji is there for most of the year, they go mehta around this time i think they might be there. But everyone says sodhi ji's the best person to learn from. canada, some wicked singhs gone to canada, vancouver i think cant remember where though. India, there's metha and anandpur sahib and others but i dont know where. obviously usa and canada singhs speak english those who learn. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh
  14. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh I would, it was awesome last time. i stayed for a couple of months but it was about 4/5 years ago other than that ive just been visiting. i went last summer for a day all the old school singhs have basically left, and the jathedars as well, duno who the new ones are. and where near hemkunt sahib?????????
  15. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh basically yeah, i was just debating whether to go to mehta or to sodhi ji in tracy Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh
  16. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh So is anyone going mehta this summer or america????? Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh
  17. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh well i don't know about writing the tunes but what i would say is just practice your vaja and keep practicing trying to figure out tunes. After a while it should become quite easy (i know that probably sounds ridiculuos, forgive me), and it's better that way because it improves your vaja and everything. Honestly if you just practice you'll start getting tunes on your first go. Do riaj, keep practicing because then you'll get used to the notes and you'll just recognise them a lot easier with vaheguru ji's kirpa. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh
  18. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh my message that i left ''I find it quite insulting to have a picture of sikhs representing arabs. Unless you're trying to be clever and in reply to this you say 'yes the guy in the forefront is an arab'. sikhs have an identity which differs from any other but people still get confused due to lack of/wrong education. i believes this picture along with the article is a miseducation to anyone who sees it, I sincerely hope this was not your intention (i apologise for the comment if it's not, but such is the world today). I would humbly request that you change the picture, yours faithfully mr.singh.'' just told him how i thought it was. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh
  19. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh I actually agree with a lot of what you said i'll give an in depth reply later today, sorry i have to go. I'm going to try and get in touch with sodhi ji tmorrow and see what they but personally i hope the site isn't closed. I got a pm and replied to dust of your sweet charan asking the site not to be closed i'll explain later. Thanks for your views and trying to enlighten a fool like me to be a bit more humble and understanding. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh
  20. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki Fateh LOL good point but thats only because of what the image (mis)represents to them. If they knew sikhs were peace loving and the KIRPan was only for defence and all the other things they would, i'm sure, almost like seing a sikh in his/her uniform sitting near them and knowing they would only be defended never harmed. (I AM SCREAMING IN FRUSTRATION) Look how WIDELY misrepresented a true sikh is even from ''within'' the realms of sikhs. It is a VERY DIFFICULT situation my friends.
