  14. actually if you look at pratan maryadai singhs are supposed to have a nishaan sahib in the dastaar. the story of gurdwara dumalgarh sahib in anandpur sahib was where maharaj trained for battle. the story goes to november 1703 when raja ajmer chand attacked the fort. the nishaan sahib had fallen and was damaged and maharaj was told of this. maharaj took a small piece of farra (cloth) from his keski and put it onto his dastaar. hence why we see images of maharaj with a piece of cloth hanging from his dumaala. the message was that the khalsa flag should be apart of the dastaar also. 16. interesting actually i was told by the same musla that kafir means non muslim. hes like we simply label non muslims as "kafir" i asked him about why is it defined as "infidel" he replied by saying the british interpretated kafir as infidel and many scholars today think kafir means "infidel". not sure to be honest. bhul chukke muaff
  17. that has to be the worst comment i have come across in my life (Gustakhi Maaf) that is something that gurdas mann would say, and as a singh who once told me "anyone that says that is a chela of gurdas mann" anyhow... ok, tell me what Khalsa is when you think of the word sikh, what do you think of? what do they look like? when you hear the word "Khalsa" what do you think of? well i think of a nagaara drum beat and gatka, not sure about you. if these guys are called khalsa junction, no we shouldnt bother about these guys, not at all oh yeah, you have people that dance around saying they are khalsa and associating culture with religion, making out singhs can go into gigs and do bhangra, other people will look at them and say "oh right, this is what the khalsa does?" and when some people go to the gurdwara, some people will ask for where the bhangra stage is. nei nei putar you are absoloutly right, these people can affix "khalsa" to "junction" and dance around like the prats they are and call themselves "khalsai", leaving impresions on punjabis and others that the khalsa can do this kind of stuff oh yeah, person who sings about drinking, girls and bmw and showing off to his friends how big his khanda chain is really reallyshowing how clean his mann is isnt it? and this guy seems very khalsafied to you now does it? http://www.kjbhangra.com/flashFiles/team.php?1 when people like jazzy B go on stage, say the full fateh before dancing and singing about his new BMW really makes out this is alllll in the sikh dharam and when kids start to say fateh before drinking in an alcohol session (because of the influence these type of groups), that really shows how good "sikhs" these people, liek the "khalsa junction" are arent they??? please dont take this post as an offence but although you may be right in some way 9its the mann that counts), the fact that they affix singh to their name and do what their doing leaves an impression on others that sikhi encourages bhangra, dancing about in a gold khanda chain, and drink contests. 18. there once a story of a barber and a guy who went for a haircut. the haircut guy (whatever we call them...im kinda lost for words right now in this moment in time) was having his haircut done when the topic moved onto god. "i dont believe in god" said the barber "how can you say that?" said the haircut guy "answer me why there is all this suffering in the world?" the haircut guy fell silent and came out of the hairdressers. it was another few weeks when he was on the same road and saw a tramp whose hair was uncut, a huge untangled beard and with some poor clothes opposite the barbers. the topic went onto about god again after the haircut guy comes back to have his haircut.... "there is no such thing as barbers or barbershops" said the haircut guy "what am i in front of you?" said the barber in a sarcastic way "if there were barbers, then why is there that poor tramp outside? if there were barbers then that person outside would not be in such a bad state" said the haircut man "haha thats easy, the reason why he is like that is because he hasnt come to a barber such as myself, hence the reason why he is in such a state" "exactly!" exclaimed the haircut guy, "the reason why there is suffering is because people havent turned towards god...hence why they are in this state". 19. my source was this musalmaan who goes to our school, and as this topic was up i asked him why sunnis and shias dont get along. he said there were three groups of people muslims wahabis - hypocrites, according to him, muslims who clean shave but wear a juba )(that muslim clothing thingy) are wahabis as they dont keep their beards...therfore making out they are religious when they arent. kafir-non believer of islam and infidels. bhul chukke muaff
  20. shias and sunnis dont get along due to the fact shias were said to have killed prophet muhammeds grandson (hazrat ali?) they chased him from saudi into iraq and killed him there. the prophets other frandson cursed shias and said they will cry to this day. shias now admit their mistake "and now cry to this day" for this reason, shias and sunnis never get along. bhul chukke muaff
