GUARANTEED>.... agreed 100%!!!!... typical hindi movie...y can't they make a movie which is pure punjabi... look at jee ayaa nu....it was a punjabi movie..which obviously just showed a bit of our culture (bhangra, pind n all) but then...there are other elements such as the same ol' love songs which can affect the youths... The Legand Of Bhagat Singh was good indeed....i was nearly in tears when i saw the main actor removed his turban n cut his hair!!...but that movie was quite good...brings up the spirit of khalistani! sorry if i said anything wrong.. my 2 cents...

Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! well..i've been wearing my kirpan to school all the time(Malaysia)..n i haven't got caught yet...but if i do...there is one teacher who knowz abt our religion n i can explain to them...they can't take it off me... we have to educate our ppl more abt sikhi..so that when ppl ask them sumthing..they'll know how to explain to them abt our religion... our 5 kakaars aren't just symbols...itz a part of us...we can't afford to remove anything which is soooo attached to us..

i agree with dasan dass... n well..i've gone through the metal detector a few times here in m'sia without getting caught...they don't use the metal wand thing but just the detector..n if it makes noise..they'll just touch ur body...n i put my kirpan on the side n my jeans is kinda thick..so it can't be felt.. but most of the time...it doesn't make noise..i guess that detector is spoil! hehehe..good for us!...

i think we should get the manufacturers address/phone num/email add n tell them that wat they're doing is wrong...no use of telling the sellers its wrong..coz all the wan is to sell it n make money... like wat phenji balwinder said...we should nip the problem at the bud....so go directly to the ppl who are making this stuffs... the khandas or any kakaars are not for deco...itz a part of us...it shouldn't be used as an accessory...

Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! well...in malaysia...if the metal detector starts making that sound...then..they'll check ur body n u might get caught with the kirpan... i've wore my kirpan a few times for domestic flights n the thing doesn't trigger...lucky i guess...but the 1st time i took amrit...i didn't wear it..coz mom was scared n told me to take it off...but i wore the small one around my neck.. n guess wat??? my bro...he's not an amritdhari...when he passes by that machine...it triggers!!! lolzzz....i guess itz coz of his kerha...

Well...there is a gal who suits all the things u mention...metallica..kirtan..etc etc..n she is really religious n outgoing at the same time..

agreed 100%!...bollywood does affect the sikh youths a LOT nowdays....including myself!...i hate the fact that it affects me..n i'm tryin to control it n all...listening to more kirtan rather than hindi songs....n it seems to work...well..i guess itz just self control sumtimes...

:D Well done!!!...that is wat all the sikhs around the world should do!...we have to learn to respect guru maharaj ji as our living guru....n dun ever disrespect it...like how certain issues come up...bringing guru maharaj ji to the hall for wedding,..etc..etc....which is really sad... all of us should educate the young generation abt guru maharaj ji n how to respect it!... WELL DONE ONCE AGAIN!!

@ There is a pastor by the name of Devinder Singh... converted to christian n named David Singh...married to a punjabi also!...can u imagine this world!!! n when his parents are around....he pretends to be a sikh...haven't seen him in gurdwara before..not even ONCE... what is sikhi lack of that this ppl need to convert?? therez just sooo much in sikhi that ppl can learn n thatz the best...i just dun get it...if u're born a sikh...live as a sikh n stay as a sikh... well..i know i shouldn't be saying this...but it really gets me up my nerves...my dad is a sikh...he goes to gurdwara n does seva n all...but he belives in feng shui n astrology n stuff...i've tried my best to bring him towards sikhi n all...but well...i just dunno wat to do anymore....now i'm just gonna do what my gurus have taught me n live my life as a gursikh...i've tried my best....n hopefully waheguruji will change him... i'm sure there are many ppl like that in the world....i just dun get it....if u wanna find peace...do paath...u dun have to put stuffs in ur house...or change the position of ur bed or sumthing just to gain peace....itz crappy! @ :D @ :wub: @

Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! 1st of all..i'm a female n after reading the old posts...which is abt the same thing...everyone is saying that simran can take away all this problems...yupz..thatz true...i used to listen to kirtan all the time...no hindi songs! hehe...n it really helped..but once i started listening to all other things ...i feel that it is influencing me...n yeah..i have to take it away... simran is better if done in the sat sangat...what if there isn't any sangat? like where i am in...therez no one here..just my family who goes to gurdwara n does everything...we don't have any gianiji n all... i've heard sumwhere that if u are in the company of the holy...with puran bharam giani and highly spiritual souls/people....u can acheive peace of mind n all...n it is most powerful to do paath or naam jaap with such ppl...is it true?

Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! why is there timez where u feel sooooooo low..i mean in sikhi...just don't feel like doing anything...when u're doing daily paath..u just can't concentrate..itz like u're not doing anything at all... i duno y...but i used to get reallllyy motivated in sikhi...but now...itz just different...y is this happening to me?? i'm sure there are many out there who might be facing the same thing as i am... i just can't concentrate...even when doing simran... i want to do paath..i wan to be with guruji all the time...but i just can't do it...n i dunno y... sumtimes just feel like doing this -> @ well...i guess this might be part of life...n just hope that things will change..
