The Christmas is coming up but for me and my family it's just a normal day my father will go to work as he gets time and half pay my mom will just stay home and do her house work like she usually does and I'll prolly just go out with friends play pool or something in other words it's just gonna be a normal day however I know some apney who have tress have family dinner and even exchange gifts ?? Isnt this a joke I mean when do u ever see white ppl or christians celebrate our holidays

Today is a day many of us will be tucking into our mince pies and celebrating the Birth of Jesus. We will have christmas trees and all kinds in our homes to mark the event. Yet how many of us celebrate the Birthday of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Or even know when it is for that matter? Just one example of the white washed Sikhs of today. Who know more christmas carol songs the shabads.

WJKK WJKF Daas is amritdhari and at work we are having many events at pubs for christmas get together. I am getting much pressure to attend these events as my work says they are for professional development to spend time with coworkers. I don't want to single myself and make a big deal why I can't go, but i am also wondering if it is wrong for me to go? It doesn't feel right to go... I go to restaurants all the time, but pub seems like its more dedicated to alcohol/beer... Any input in how to deal with these situations...
