My Hukamnama

[Trying to be Khalsa]

I was feeling a bit depressed and worried about my future . Actually I am feeling pretty direction-less in life .

So , I thought that I should go and consult my living guru with my problem .

i am kesadhari , not amritdhari yet .

I did ardas and Guru gave following hukamnama :

ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

धनासरी महला ५ ॥

Ḏẖanāsrī mėhlā 5.

Dhanaasaree, Fifth Mehl:

ਤੁਮ ਦਾਤੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਕ ਨਾਇਕ ਖਸਮ ਹਮਾਰੇ ॥

तुम दाते ठाकुर प्रतिपालक नाइक खसम हमारे ॥

Ŧum ḏāṯe ṯẖākur parṯipālak nā▫ik kẖasam hamāre.

You are the Giver, O Lord, O Cherisher, my Master, my Husband Lord.

ਨਿਮਖ ਨਿਮਖ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਹੁ ਹਮ ਬਾਰਿਕ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਧਾਰੇ ॥੧॥

निमख निमख तुम ही प्रतिपालहु हम बारिक तुमरे धारे ॥१॥

Nimakẖ nimakẖ ṯum hī parṯipālahu ham bārik ṯumre ḏẖāre. ||1||

Each and every moment, You cherish and nurture me; I am Your child, and I rely upon You alone. ||1||

ਜਿਹਵਾ ਏਕ ਕਵਨ ਗੁਨ ਕਹੀਐ ॥

जिहवा एक कवन गुन कहीऐ ॥

Jihvā ek kavan gun kahī▫ai.

I have only one tongue - which of Your Glorious Virtues can I describe?

बेसुमार बेअंत सुआमी तेरो अंतु न किन ही लहीऐ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

Besumār be▫anṯ su▫āmī ṯero anṯ na kin hī lahī▫ai. ||1|| rahā▫o.

Unlimited, infinite Lord and Master - no one knows Your limits. ||1||Pause||

I was happy that Guru has given me assurance that "All is well " and that god will nourish his children .
