  1. They have a Sikh Division? Hopefully anyone who associates with these people do not class themselves as Sikhs. Fateh ji, EDL remind me of what the Hindu's did in 1947, get us on side and then oppress us.
  2. Fateh ji, i have recently just come from India, and i had visited Widows Colony, who for over 25 years have received no moral support from us Sikhs, i listened to their heartache and theres nothing i could say that would remove tears from their eyes, no books and no images can show the terror and ordeal they went through. Its like an earthquake, you never forget it but you have people who pull together and rebuild the structure, whereas us Sikhs have left these people to suffer and have not pulled through for them, the living standards are atrocious, we should be carrying these people. Prime example of the state of our commitee's over there, obviously i would have no idea of where Widow's Colony is, so i thought the best place to ask would be the Gurdwara, the response i got back was 'why do you want to go there' that ideally any money you give should only be to us.
  3. Dont know whether this has been posted before, but if this is true then the Singhs may need our support and may just be the government of India targeting random Singhs in cases. City men arrested over India murder Michael Green Share19 July 2010 DETECTIVES made arrests in Coventry this week in connection with a murder in India. The arrests resulted from the investigation into the murder of Rulda Singh, who was gunned down outside his home in the Punjab in July 2009. Mr Singh, who later died in hospital, was a prime mover in the Rashtriya Sikh Sangat, an organisation which works to unite Hindu society and spread its culture. Indian police arrested and later charged Jagmohan Singh and Darshan Singh, natives of Bassi Pathana, with Mr Singh's murder. The pair were accused of having links with Babbar Khalsa International, a Sikh Extremist Group. Reports in India have suggested the murder was linked to Sikh organisations in Britain, and detectives from the Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU) travelled to India in April to launch an investigation into a possible link. This week, the CTU joined forces with West Midlands Police to make four arrests in connection with Mr Singh's murder. Two men were from Coventry, while the others were arrested in Smethwick and Wolverhampton. Following the arrests, detectives only revealed the men were all aged between 27 and 36-years-old. Det Supt George Tracey, from the CTU, said: "We have been working closely with the Indian authorities on this matter. "The investigation into the death of Mr Singh is complex and ongoing both here and in the Punjab." The four men have been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries. http://www.coventryobserver.co.uk/news23282.html
  4. IF is an important word, if you would like to re-read my post and then respond! Whats actually good about it?
  5. Whats good about being a Bouncer? You get to wear a large coat and you allow people into clubs, well if thats all your ambitions are then good luck to you. If you place yourself in a situation, then obviously you will have to defend yourself. The main point i am making, we have a lot of people who try and use self defence and apply it to Sikhs back in the day, difference back then was the Lions as you rightly called them had a cause to defend the Sikh nation. You talk about survival and thats the problem, Sikhs believe in Ekta, we are lions because we protected others, so as you obviously go to clubs, if a fight broke out between Sikhs 'What would you do?', If a gang of muslims attacked a Sikh 'What would you do?' would you jump in. The problem today is we do not use the 'budh' Guru Granth Sahib ji gives us, If we have vidhiya and not naam/bani we are not those lions, if we have naam/bani and no vidhiya we are not those lions, the sikhs had vidhiya and naam bani which made them fearless warriors.
  6. Fateh ji, SherePunjab93, you seem to post alot of stuff in regards to fighting/SP etc. If your a Sikh, why in the hell would you want to be a bouncer of a nightclub? I agree about Sikhs needing to learn skills to develop there 'SELF DEFENCE' which is what some people seem to be forgetting. We are the Son's and Daughters of Guru Gobind Singh ji, we only strike when all other means have failed. Also learning is one thing, the real thing is totally different. All i am saying yes there is a need to learn but we need to learn for the right reasons, not use it to make people fear us, do you think the moghuls feared the Sikhs because of their skills, remember the moghuls were also skilled in the art of war, the skill the sikhs had above everyone was they were fearless due to BANI and BANA. Bhul Chuk Maafi Karni
  7. Fateh ji, I sort of understand why she did lie, your a UK munda, so they have try and pump up the kuri to reach your level. As a realist, you have to ask yourself whether you can see your life with this kuri, Guru ji will guide you through this because once you have taken the steps around Guru ji, you have decided to become one. On an education front, having a BA in India is basically the equivalent to GCSE's here, its not even recognised, you need to ask her career goals i.e. what she wants to do? On another note, while she's there, get her to learn English as the Visa application is getting more difficult due to false marriages being on the rise.
  8. Fateh ji You say Sikh Girl but then say Mone like it basically doesn't matter or something. A Sikh still got rushed and were sitting around here making excuses of why we should not appear, if they have asked for help then we should be there. We talk about building communities but then we classify separate Sikhs 'oh shes a mona so its okay for some sullah to spill lucozade on her hair' and we call ourselves the sons and daughters of Guru Gobind Singh ji, remember it was the likes of Dhan Dhan Baba Deep Singhs who helped those in need whether they were moneh or different faiths. Any Singhs who know this family, if they need our support then we should appear at this venue. Bhul Chuk Maaf Karni Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ke Fatteh.
  9. Fateh Ji I totally disagree, I think in todays day an age, we need to aquire skills and keep developing them.I advise all young Sikhs to get into boxing as its the quickest way to get someone down, then gradually moving into grappling etc. Gatka for me has become a show event but in an ideal world would not really help for self defence. bhul chuk maaf karni Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ke Fatteh
  10. Fateh ji Has anyone considered the fact there is a football match between Villa and Blues taking place on the 25th?
  11. Singh, Instead of visiting some nice places in India to hand more money to the Indian Government, visit those and do ardas, seva for those who need help. Widow Colony in Delhi would be a good start, just an idea. Bhuk Chuk Maafi Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ke Fatteh.
  12. Southall Travel are good, but all i will say is do not ever get a connecting flight in India.
  13. Just to add my worth on this, some Gurdwara offer Cha as Langar so is that not Beadbi?
  14. Wjkk Wkjf I agree with the sentiments shown by previous posters, it was very poor, by Sonia's figures only 3,200 people died in 1984 including Delhi riots! There was no images of women or children being killed in Darbar Sahib, it was just made out that Sanf ji was a fanatic who laughed all the way through! Sonia stressed that the whole operation was to capture Sant ji but why weren't the police sent? He was freely arrested before? Then after interviewing Satnam Singh, brilliant point about Mahatma Ghandi by the way, she then said some Sikhs said Sant ji shouldn't have been there but they didn't want to be interviewed, was that your family? Only positive was the masund looked totally lost and contradicted himself, you failed to mention that preparations from Sant ji only began when you were spotted by General Subhaig Singh! Also Sonia made out Sikhs fired first, when Sant ji always stressed that when the first bullet hit Akal Tahkt that's when will be Tiyaar pe Tiyaar! Not really surprised with what I saw though!
  15. Parnaam Shaheedan Nu, He gave his life for the panth thats all that should matter. Lets focus on what he did rather than how he was Shaheed. Cracks me up about Indian Hypocrites holding vigils for their attacks by terrorists, were asked to forget 84 but they won't forget Mumbai attacks.
