Amid reports that the German President and the Foreign Minister have written to their Indian counterparts seeking clemency for Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) terrorist Bhullar, sources here said the Khalistani terrorist was not extradited but deported under an executive order in 1995 and hence, there is no ground for Germans to intervene. "There is no locus standi, legally, of Germany to seek clemency for Khalistani terrorist," so…

After the interesting pictures I found online about the Sikhs of Chile, I came across these images of Sikhs in Brazil and how they are running a school for local children. We might to agree 100% on the views of the Yogi Sikhs but they are active in bringing their lifestyle to the knowledge of the wider public. This also brings Sikhi to the attention of people who would not have had an opportunity to know about it. http://community.sikhdharmaworldwide.org/your-stories/brazilian-sangat/#jp-carousel-273 http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=mOzlHhS_2Qc

The creation of the sixth Guru, Guru Hargobind Sahib, 'Akal-Takhat', or the seat of the timeless being is the political vatican of the Khalsa panth. It's image is enshrined in the panth's psyche globally and the 'Takhat' itself has been a forerunner in vetoing and placating internal and external matters of the panth worldwide. Built with the idea of nationhood in mind, by Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, the 'Takhat' can be seen as being the meeting point between spirituality and temporality. Constructed in the manner of a fortress/ place of worship it's very structure speaks credible volumes to it's military, and political history. As per the wishes of his father, and via his ow…
