Hello everyone, I recently came across some videos or articles of people explaining their near death experiences. I started questioning some things as I noticed everyone had experienced something which is out of what Sikhi says about afterlife. Some say they saw Jesus, or others say they were in a white room with other entities. This really made me think more about what Sikhi says about afterlife. Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh. My question is how do i do simran at Work? I really want to spend my work hours remembering the name, at least say satnam Waheguru, but often times, work is so stressful that i am influenced by the events and forget to take his name. Everyday i get frustrated that i could not do simran properly because i was caught up in the events. Why is it not working for me. It is actually making me more stressful than my work problems.

Hello Sangat Ji, In a certain baani, reading from translations, while waheguru was being praised in the baani there was a line in which it said you(waheguru) birthed yourself from an egg. Major beadbi. I came across someone called "BlasphemousArt" advertising their product on Reddit. They are advertising that they have hugely disrespectful beadbi of guru Granth Sahib jee Maharaj as so called 'art'. They have said that it is available from "BlasphemousArt.com". Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it. -
Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. Gurbani isn't a 1428 page rulebook, like Leviticus or the Vedas: ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਪੁੰਨ ਪਾਪ ਬੀਚਾਰਦੇ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਾਝਹੁ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ The Simritis and Shastras discriminate between charity and sin, but know not the essence of the Real Thing. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
