by Guest Qdot- 4 replies

Hi. I have been reading this forum for a few weeks now and this is my first post. I was wondering for a while now about Sikhism. I am a Sikh (well I am how I define..) but I have recently wanted to learn more. Being a regular London guy, I go Gurdwara often (would love to go more!) but when I think about I do some things right and other things "wrong" So on my journey to learn more I now read paath on my phone but in English since I can't read punjabi. The question I had was...on my phone is reading this disrespectful?! Is reading whilst on tube to work bad? Sorry if these are silly questions...I just thought you guys could share your opinions and views. How else c…

Christian missionaries in panjab
by Guest singh- 5 replies
When we look at stats and the current situation in panjab we see that the missionaries are rampant disease. They are targetting the poor and rich alike. Not only are sikhs, but hindus, muslims etc are also being converted. Why is that no sikh finds this issue worrysome and scary? We still have not seen any major sikh group, including akal thakht, say a word about this issue. What do you guys think?

I took Amrit 2 years ago. I had a chest infection & took my medication penicillin which was capsule form. I didn't know it was made out of Gelatine so when I found out I stopped. Same with the Kellogg's Squares bars. I did Ardass for forgiveness. Then something else happened & I masturbated twice...afterwards I did Japji Sahib & Ardass for forgiveness. Is peshi required?

inheritance and wills
by Guest Mogfrog- 6 replies

This is a weird question but I was wondering, if you received a phone call from a lawyer saying that your 15 year old son had a secret gay relationship with an elderly gay man who just passed away and the recently deceased who had no living relatives recently made a will stating that your son will inherit his estate which is worth 10 million dollars. How would you react??????

I've read a few past discussions related to this topic but what if an amritdhari had to wear a long dress or a long skirt for a formal evening of sorts or for whatever reason (with modesty of course, so not skin tight or short), where would she wear her Kirpan?

Lao Tzu and Physics. === . . # Dao generates the One, The One generates the Two, The Two generates the Three. The Three generates all things. All things have darkness at their back and strive towards the light, and the flowing power gives them harmony. / Tao Te Ching, Chapter 42, Lao Tzu / ============= . . My comment: / Cosmo genesis. / 1. In the beginning was Vacuum/ Dao. The Vacuum/ Dao is not died space but according to Quantum theory it is Energetic space : T=0K. 2. Dao generates the One. It means: The Energetic (Infinite/Eternal) Vacuum space generates energetic virtual particles- frozen light quanta.. They are in rest/ pot…

Cunningly Ruthless Vs Peaceful Way Of Bhai Bittu
by Guest Guest- 0 replies

At the time when sikh nation is remembering its maytrs. Indian forces grab three so called Sikh terro rist from J & K with lot of arms Then they get hold of amrithari women saying catching another terro rist . Most from bittu group of parch pardhani. It seems Bhai Daljit singh bittu’s way forward to peacefully with reasoning get Punjab people’s own rights is baffling govt. Amritsar & Chandigarh have very successful seminars where many people give their views. These discussion and peaceful way forward is highly disturbing for those in power. Waheguru mehar Caree.
