Hi Do you know if sikhs can wear a kirpan in and around paris city ie effiel tower or on trains etc. And are kirpans allowed in Disney land paris? I have read that the security at the train station into disneyland paris is a proper airport security type. Please could someone give a heads up for us. How well are the french aware of the kirpan. Is there anything we could take explaining what it is incase we meet the police etc? Any info would be appreciated

Hi All I am a bit confused about 'feelings' Are feelings related to ego? How are we meant to feel if someone 'evil' dies e.g. Ashutosh Noormehl...do we be happy and celebrate an enemy of Sikhs has died? i feel conflicted...i feel like i should say a prayer for the soul and hope he is given the chance to 'redeem' his evils/sins? Surely an All Loving and knowing and Embracing God would be ok with this? Am I going against Sikh principles if I pray for our "enemy?" Are we not meant to ask for Srabat da bhalla? One day a man and a woman visited sahib shree guru gobind singh ji maharaaj.Guru sahib was very happily talking with both of them .And then maharaj ji told to prepare amrit . Is there a list of current Mahapurakh ? Does anyone know who are truly brahmgyani? Also anyone know any true saints such as those that someone can go stay with for a bit to learn or do seva. I know there are always some around ithaasic gurwaras so one can stay do seva and be guided. How would one approach a sant to ask this? Could anyone tell us about deras such as rara sahib taksaal or nihang singhs where one could go? Plz no arguing about anything just advice. Aadmin plz could you move to correct section?

Waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh, I recently got the daat of Amrit. I am pure vegetarian. Like I go to college and you know you have to eat outside sometimes. I ordered my veggie food today from this coffee shop. I told them to change gloves and she did. But she put that bagel on a same self where she put other food like eggs and stuff. So just wondering if its a big deal or no?

SikhSangat Ji My question is simple. How do you Trust someone? If you have a little doubt about what someone is saying to you - What goes through your thoughts? AND How do you deal with this feeling? I am specifically referring to a Husband and Wife relationship, but the Principle is similar to many other relationships. What are your thoughts please? Thank you

Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it. -
Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. Gurbani isn't a 1428 page rulebook, like Leviticus or the Vedas: ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਪੁੰਨ ਪਾਪ ਬੀਚਾਰਦੇ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਾਝਹੁ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ The Simritis and Shastras discriminate between charity and sin, but know not the essence of the Real Thing. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
