AMRITSAR: The delay in submitting the passports by the Pakistan High Commission is said to have prevented the Sikh jatha from leaving for Pakistan. The delay put many Sikh devotees who had arrived at the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) complex from far flung places through a lot of inconvenience. They said that they waited endlessly for the passports to arrive as the SGPC officials kept them giving assurances that they were arriving throughout the day. We are already under huge debt and this guy who has no education thinks he can handle California financial problem... :D Besides that he made some remarks to the reporter of some magazine many years ago.. "Buy American cars, not japanese/Asian".. Upon this comment reporter asked about german/european made cars, he was blank.. didn't give any answer.. So he definately don't have Asian Support and being the son of the Nazi dad (Austrian)... Jew community won't support him either.. Chandigarh, June 12 (IANS) Meet Shamser Singh Babra, by his own admission the first Sikh to join the World Bank and later the first Indian to head a division of the bank. Babra, who has spent around five decades in the U.S., remains an Indian at heart and has not relinquished his Indian citizenship. He visits the land of his birth at least thrice a year and spends half of his time back home. But his mission these days is to build a gurdwara on Embassy Row near the prime Massachusetts Avenue in the American capital. "It will also be a cultural centre not only for Sikhs but all those interested in Indian culture. It is a dream which is now becoming a reality," Babra to…
