  1. All of our suffering is of our own making ! This dawned on me from within one of my deeper meditations. Lets see how our mind gets caught up in meaningless , petty things and prevents us from enjoying life to the fullest (i) Financial Suffering Buy only what you need and what you want - limit your needs , helping a kid go to school for example will bring you much more happiness than buying the latest gadget . The most stupid thing to try to do is to keep up with others and put up a show of wealth - its called rat race for a reason - rats start scrambling when they see one rat running , we have a more evolved brain - don't we ? Learn to take pride in your simplicity and even boast about it and others around you will find themselves shamed about their showy/flashy ways. ਏਕੋ ਨਿਹਚਲ ਨਾਮ ਧਨੁ ਹੋਰੁ ਧਨੁ ਆਵੈ ਜਾਇ ॥ (ii) Physical Suffering Again almost all chronic diseases - obesity, cancer, heart disease, diabetes etc are a direct result of indulgence - consuming way more calories than our body was ever meant to handle . Keep a simple vegan diet (no milk , fish , dairy , meat) and fast one day in a weak - see your weight come off and all your diseases . Being vegetarian is not enough as we are nevertheless stealing milk that was meant for the calf. Our health has a karmik link like all things in life - when we stop causing suffering to other sentient beings, in return our own well being is tremendously boosted - Dukh an deyi kise Jee Pat Seo Ghar Jaye || Do not harm any being and you will go to your home with honour And Jehre khange Choprey Ghane Sehange Dukh || Those who indulge in lavish food will suffer a great deal. (iii) Emotional Suffering We all have a tendency to carry grudges - someone did or said something bad to us ....take some deep breaths and thank them for it for taking some or our karmic debt off...what happened to us was just a result of our own karma and this person was only the messenger ..in other words akal purakh himself wanted this to happen to us ,if not them it would happen through another person or another means. ਲੇਖੈ ਬੋਲਣੁ ਬੋਲਣਾ ਲੇਖੈ ਖਾਣਾ ਖਾਉ ॥ लेखै बोलणु बोलणा लेखै खाणा खाउ ॥ Lekẖai bolaṇ bolṇā lekẖai kẖāṇā kẖā▫o. As it is pre-ordained, people speak their words. As it is pre-ordained, they consume their food. ਲੇਖੈ ਵਾਟ ਚਲਾਈਆ ਲੇਖੈ ਸੁਣਿ ਵੇਖਾਉ ॥ लेखै वाट चलाईआ लेखै सुणि वेखाउ ॥ Lekẖai vāt cẖalā▫ī▫ā lekẖai suṇ vekẖā▫o. As it is pre-ordained, they walk along the way. As it is pre-ordained, they see and hear. Remember there is enough in this world for every being , worry and jealousy are just wasted emotions - we are not truly happy until our happiness is infectious i.e. we make everyone around us happy. Feel free to pm me or on this thread if you need any gurbani tuk for a particular dilemma / suffering you are facing in this maya infested world .

  2. Sarab rog ka aukhad Nam. As long as we do not submit our haume and drink the Amrit of Nam, through its Simran and Dhyan, we can never ever become free from sufferings in the form of karam. Through Gurmat we have to arise above the spheres of karam, mind and maya, and with the aid of Shabad Guru drink the Amrit of Nam. For as the Bani says: Sur, Nar, Mun Jan, Amrit khojtay, so Amrit Gur te paaya. Sat Sree Akal.

  4. Where in Guru Sahib's writing does Guru Sahib say Khalsa Raj will be another government on this planet? You don't have an understanding of what Khalsa Raj is and you have wrapped your jaded views to it. Khalsa Raj will rule over every soul as Guru Sahib has said.

  5. I think your poster name says more about your intentions than your post....WallaWallaBingBong.. You have no true intentions of discussing Khalsa Raj, but only want to put doubts in others minds of establishing a Khalsa Raj. Fire up a topic, only to hurt the panth and watch Sikhs fight among themselves about a topic Guru Sahib has already spoken about and said what will occur. Guru Sahib said Khalsa Raj will happen and it will occur on Vaheguru's terms, not yours or anyone else's. The state of the Khalsa Panth is not a reflection on how and when the Khalsa Raj will occur. If it were, then Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji would have never been able to come on this earth as people were deeply burning in maya. How did Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji get people to change when people were deeply immersed in maya? Some people believe in themselves and some believe in others to accomplish things. Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji left it up to Vaheguru and Sikhi came to be formed. Guru Sahib didn't use a ounce of power. Yet, here you are using all your strength to fight against Khalsa Raj. It is your own inner shortcomings preventing you from seeing the bigger picture. You have no clue what Khalsa Raj is. The world's weight is rest in the shoulders of the Khalsa. By Khalsa, Guru Sahib doesn't mean doctors and professors of secular knowledge, yet these people write themselves off as Sikh doctors or professors. Neither does Guru Sahib mean the secular folks, who give their time toward helping others and party hard on Friday and Saturday. Neither does Guru Sahib mean the people who dress as Sikhs for pictures and those who have no intention of following Sikhi and say...Sikhi is about the inside...

  6. In the same sense let's send you down to the south, redneck valley and see how much Trump speaks up for you after they slaughter you like a pig! Are you willing to risk your life for Trump's platform, which you claim is "taking care of business"? Trump's supporters are racist entitled white people, who blame all their problems on the minority class. These entitled white folks refuse to do manual labor jobs, unless it's a government job because their brother Joe is the manager and will let him sit on his hands for 8 hours, while the Mexican subcontracted employee does the job at minimum wage. The Mexican who is providing for his family is the problem, not the white entitled person who is on social assistance because he is upset for having a black president. On the media Prime Ministers and Presidents are politically correct, but behind closed doors the real them comes out. If Trump is barking off like a wild dog on stage, I don't want to know what he is saying behind closed doors about the minorities. The same applies to others, but they are more down to earth compared to Trump. Trump doesn't care about Sikhs or anyone else. Trump is only trying to get into office to scratch one more item off his bucket list before he dies.
