  3. wjkk wjkf, i doubt it.... not too many ppls sell their musical instruments coz if u really enjoy any instrument then it becomes your best friend and it gives you a company when you are alone. but keep trying, ask local gurughar or ask a dhaadi jatha... sometimes they sell their musical instrument just before they go back to india. good luck. wjkk wjkf
  4. wjkk wjkf i know many ppls are making fun of the last point... but really it is important in today's life. A woman works same hours as man, so why not man sharing household work with woman....!!! its not fair for the woman to work 8-9 hours job and then spend another 3-4 hours in kitchen whilst the husband sitting in room hooked to football.... tut tut tut.... hahaha wjkk wjkf
  5. wjkk wjkf check ebay or gumtree and look in your local area is someone selling it.... wjkk wjkf

  8. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh The topic title says the all and the list is as below (please feel free to add if you think I have missed something): 1. Always greet each other with Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji Ki Fateh; be it on the phone, in person. 2. Always recite Mool Mantra together on arising in the morning, followed by Ardaas for thanking Maharaaj for a new day and asking for blessings to take full Ishnaan (inc. kesh whenever and wherever possible) and do Naam Simran. 3. Recite Simran together for at least 1 hour, the next hour can be personal Simran if desired. 4. Attend Gurdwara Sahib for Simran, morning/evening Nitnem if possible. 5. Recite Nitnem together, alternate tuks or do each Bani in turn. 6. Encourage the reciting of more Baani. 7. Respect each other’s privacy, remember you may be married but that doesn’t mean you take things for granted. 8. Inspire each other with daily Sakhis from Sikh Itthiaas. 9. Take time to share a Shabad from Gurbani and do its Vichaar. 10. Go Gurdwara Sahib daily and try to go to Different Gurdwaras if possible, this will help you think that you are not a part of any particular cast based Gurdwaras, but you have Piyaar for your Guru Ji. 11. Try and do active seva together where possible do not deter your partner from going to Gurdwara or joining in Gurmat projects. 12. Hold regular Sangat Kirtans at your place of residence for friends and family. 13. Organise a Langar at least once a year, do invite family, friends but also try to raise awareness through local homeless shelters etc. 14. Try to par take in physical activities together, pick a sport you both enjoy. 15. Encourage one another to recite, listen, learn more Gurbani in spare time, don’t waste it idly watching tv, films, generally lazying about. 16. Join local groups that help the community in which you live - helps raise awareness about Sikhs. 17. Remember your partner is a soul from God; help them to make it Home again - to merge with our true Love. 18. Always speak Punjabi at home and with friends, relatives and at Gurdwara Sahib. 19. Teach your kids Punjabi at home and tell them stories based on Sikhi and Sikhs. 20. Help each other with household duties seeing as it is now common for both partners to go out to work, this one is particularly for the men, find out where the iron is and where the Hoover lives!!! Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

  12. WJKK WJKF u wont be allowed to have it with u in the plane... so make sure you do your adraas before you take it off and keep it safe in your bag or suitcase (NOT hand bag). dont hand it over to anyone in security, coz u never know that person might be a smoker and u dont want ur sri sahib to be touched by a smoker. and when u reach india. u can wear it back at the airport as soon as u get ur bag. outside and everywhere in india, u can carry 3feet long shri sahib with u if u really want to... no one will say anything... and if they do then they will have to think twice before they say....lol have a good trip... may guru ji anng sang u. wjkk wjkf
  13. wjkk wjkf really interesting questions, but i personally think that they can not apply to any one apart from dhan dhan shri guru gobind singh ji himself. this are the words spoken by shri guru gobind singh ji when he was telling how and why he was sent to this earth? in other words you can say that these words are the communication between akal purak and dhan dhan shri guru gobind singh ji... this is guru ji's personaly life history. these can be used for dharam parchaar but only if someone is talking from shri guru gobind singh ji's point of view. e.g. to justify who was shri guru gobind singh ji, why he came to this earth and what did he do etc...? hope this helps, waheguru.... wjkk wjkf

  15. wjkk wjkf very hard to tell you what to do in this situation as i personally dont know you at all. but yes, i can add to this is that you can try to avoid being alone and spend time in a good company. it cud be ur own family or good friend circle. you can also devote some of your free time to do any volunteer work and make sure you are dedicated to it. i had something like similar situation, i started learning baja (harmonuim) and now my baja is my best friend. whenever i feel free or alone, i play with my harmonium and me and my baja, we both sing shabads together. it dont let me feel alone even if i have no one to talk to for hours and hours.... you can try something like that. hope this helps. wjkk wjkf
  16. wjkk wjkf if this is the case then the choice is yours.... kirpan or museum??? wjkk wjkf
  17. wjkk wjkf dhan dhan shri guru granth sahib ji should not be printed in any other language other than gurmukhi itself. you can print gutka sahib and sanchiyaan on any language, but NOT SGGSJI..... now they gonna print SGGSJI in other languages and then they gonna read in that language's accent and then the bani and meaning will be changed....waheguru waheguru!!!! the pure gurbani can only be read in gurmukhi. waheguru.... i just dont understand what is happening in panth??? please help us. wjkk wjkf

  20. wjkk wjkf try changing the different battery and diff sim cards??? if not them take it to the shop and tell them exactly what u want.... wjkk wjkf thanks. the phone is about 3 years old not and no longer under warranty. i do not mind giving it in to repair, but my biggest regret is losing my phone numbers which have been stored in the phone memory. it is those numbers that i risk losing if i were to give it into repair because they usually delete everything on the phone include the existing phone numbers and simply restart the phone. i really need those numbers from my phone, but i am not sure how to retain them... i desperately need your help sangat ji
  21. WJKK WJKF if it is under warrenty, take it to any carphonewarehouse shop (no matter if u havent bought from them) and they will give u a form and address to send it to. send it to the repair center by special delivery and if ur warrenty is valid, they will fix it for free. all you have to pay is the cost of one special delivery. thanks wjkk wjkf
  22. wjkk wjkf dont get rid of them, learn and manage to control them and use them at the right time and right place. you control them, dont let them control u. wjkk wjkf
  23. wjkk wjkf fair play.... i think someone has stood up to fight against these activities.... would love to see majority of punjabi singers getting slaps for wearing khanda and clean shave and wearing turbans and singing and dancing with kuriyaan.....lol wjkk wjkf
