VJKK, VJKF Dear all, I am looking to get together with some like minded sikh brothers who would like to start a small group so that we can train in mixed martial arts. I am based in Birmingham, and we will be looking to train in Coventry - probably once a week. There will be a charge for the lesson, it depends upon numbers interested i.e. the more number we have the less the cost. The benefit is that we can get train together as one group session on a regular basis. Ideally I am looking to get about 10 people, they must be serious about training, time wasters need not apply. Mixed martial arts is a very effective form of unarmed combat, it encompasses stand-up grappling/wrestling, boxing techniques, thai boxing techniques, submission grappling and ground/pound techniques. VJKK VJKF Dear all, I have been to Niddar's akhara, here is what i learnt in one lesson:- 1. Firstly - remove your kara whilst training - because Niddar says we don't need to wear them all the time 2. That he is a hindu sikh, not sikh but Hindu Sikh 3. That he drinks and eats meat - because you need it to be a warrior 4. He swore at 2 Gatka ustads - i won't mention names, but they were called parts of the female anatomy - i think you know what! 5. Know one challenges him face to face because he is a warrior! Needless to say I haven't been back again to his class! What he teaches is ok, but it won't work in reality. You will only really see if something works when it is tested under duress i.e. when the adrenalin is pumping through your veins, not when you get a straight punch in the air and then you do 100 moves!!! LOL! Don't buy his <banned word filter activated> book, it insults Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji in the first few pages VJKK VJKF

VJKK VJKF, Dear all, I have not brought this book, but I have used the search facility in amazon to look at the first few pages. In the opening pages there is a conversation between Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and jait ram, it goes something like this (Note: Guruji is talking to Jait Ram):- 'you have shorn hair and eat pulses, we have unshorn hair, carry weapons, hunt and eat and have the mindset of lions' I don't know, I might be wrong, but to me this is saying that Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji was a meat-eater! Thats my reason for not buying this trashy book. The authors insult all of us in the opening pages, how on earth can you buy such crap. I hear people raving on about the quality, pictures, its taken 10 years of research etc But I will not put any money in the pockets of anti-panthic people who are out to wreck young impressionable minds, with their twisted views on sikhi! Yet when asked to respond to these statements he could not answer the questions. he is also seen apologising on video. About time he was exposed! I am looking to obtain some shastars , namely katars, nihang style kara's, close quarter combat weapons, kirpans. i have tried shastarman.com and sikhishop etc. Unfortunately they do not have the type of shastar that i am looking for. I have also tried akaalarms, asianarms and oriental-arms websites but the shastar are way to expensive for me. Does anyone on the forum have a private collection of weapons that are looking to sell? Does anyone know where this extended video is? I have looked around the web, but as of yet there seems to be no trace. i hope whoever has it will quickly post it! I really think that this Nang should be exposed for what he is. He has been misleading youngsters for too long. messing up their minds with his hindu version of sikhi. If you go to amazon.co.uk, you can browse into this book, i believe the first 5-6 pages. In these pages, he is also implying that Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji was a meat eater. Come on, upload the rest of the video and lets expose this fakester!

This shows a video link, in which Niddar is told to write down and highlight on which pages/chapters he has made derogratory remarks against the Jathedar of Takht Sri Hazoor Sahib. Apparently these remarks were written in Niddars book : 'In the Masters Presence, Sikhs of Hazoor Sahib Vol 1'. It is all on video. I think it finally exposes Niddar, for the dodgy character he is. VJKK VJKF Dear all, Lets get a few facts rigt here: 1. Muslim youth in the Uk (especially mirpuri) are openly targetting vunerable sikh youth i.e. school kids, sikh youth who are alone, in schools, colleges, universities. You might ask why? The answer is that our great sikh forefathers stopped the spread of Islam throughout the whole of India, through sacrifice and self-defence and above all Naam! Muslims hate us for this, they simply despise us! Fact! Even Muhammed said to 'take your enemies women'. That is why sikh girls get targetted all over the UK - gullible sikh girls. Muslims know that they outnumber sikhs heavily and hence won't get a response back - hence they carry on trying to rub our noses in it by going with our sisters. They can only attack you - WHEN THEY OUTNUMBER YOU! Fact! Alone they are absolutely nothing! Yes, they have unity- they all hang about and when called will get a group of 50-60 together in numbers. Sikhs have no unity, but whenever sikhs have stuck together muslims think twice before attacking us. Fact! What these young sikhs done was very brave. They stood up to these gutless cowards - who attack only school kids. The only issue I have with these young sikhs are: 1. Don't disrespect anyone's religion 2. We don't need to post pictures of ourselves on websites But on the whole they did a great service to the community, and they showed us that when sikhs get together, these muslim COWARDS are nothing! Hi, For standup fighting learn boxing/Thai Boxing Ground Fighting - take up Brazilian Ji Jitsu Weapons - take up Kali/Escrima I think that Krav Maga is very good as it teaches you all ranges and multiple attackers. Hope that Helps

Hi, Yeah, stay away from Niddar. He is bad news. He will teach you shastar vidiya but slowly drop 'lines' of his corrupt knowledge to confuse you. What he teaches is very similar to Kalarippayatt (indian martial arts). The forms are very similar, Kalarippayatt has wild boar form, snake form, peacock form and so does Niddars (so called Shastar Vidiya) mixed in with some knowledge he has picked up from some nihangs in India i.e nihang battlefield formations etc. There is a guy in London - Paul Whitrod who teaches Kalarippayatt, learn of him instead! www.paulwhitrod.com. Or learn Escrima/Kali, do some Thai-boxing and Grappling art. Thats all you need! Thanks

Hi, The mela was absolutely fantastic this year!! There was no fun fair, which was great i.e. no load music and idiots looking for trouble. The whole event was so calm and relaxed. There was enough police presence at all the entrances to the park aswell as security inside. Brilliant!! The Gatka was great, little kids were having a great time on the bounce castle and the food was great!! I can't wait for next year! It can only get better!!!

Hi, I was wondering what your thoughts are regarding the banning of Handsworth Mela? here are my views; 1. The Mela should not be banned, but please do not take Guru Maharaj Ji to the park. The darbar sahib that is set up needs to be stopped. PERIOD! However I do not feel that the whole mela should be banned, because i believe that is the main aim of the racist muslim gangs who come there to cause trouble i.e. cause trouble, get the mela banned. I believe last year's mela saw muslim youth entering with dogs etc and harrassing our women. 2. The funfair needs to be taken removed. This is where most of the fighting happens. 3. We need to have a strict control on who enters the place. people need to be searched for weapons, alcohol, drugs etc. I know this would be very hard to implement. One of the proposals would be to have a ticket allocation to get entry. Tickets could be allocated via local gurdwaras. No ticket, no entry. 4. There needs to be a strict control on the amount of litter that has been thrown about. Please use bins! 5. I also believe that we should have a seperate Nagar Kirtan, that would go around the local gurdwaras and then perhaps finish off at Soho rd Gurdwara etc I look forward to any comments.
