Today, people have given different meanings to the term "sant" But the true meaning of Sant is living god on earth, Someone who has realised his true self - GOD, Someone who has completely defeated the 5 evils and desires of this world, someone who is ONE with GOD. The term True Sant, Brahm Gianee, SatGuru, Gurmukh have same meaning and classify the same which is 1 GOD in the form of human body on Earth. Examples, 10 Gurus, past gurus i.e. hindu gurus etc.

Same way, doesn't mean we should remove hair. if the mind is pure, if the mind lives under the divine law, we could go out naked, it wont matter. If the mind is pure and does not smell of the stink of sin it will not matter if we take bath or not. Animals live under divine law, they walk around naked. they have more than one partner, does that make them impure? its all in the mind. Right, so lets all become jains... just trying to make a point like mehtab ji did. i was talking to a muslim friend the other day. i said there is no point in eating animals when there are so many vegetables out n about. I said GOD has given us the right to kill animal for food, but that is a need, if there are so many vegetables and other nature food about, why kill animals and he said Plants are living things as well so we shouldnt eat them either. I was quiet not becausz i didnt have anything to say but because i didnt bother replying. If we eat meat when there are so many other options available, then its just desire. Desiring to eat meat. everyone will defend their beliefs regardless of religion they belong to. Similar sikhs say we shouldn't cut hair because It is his hukam. If it is hukam, then we shouldnt cut our nails. If it his hukam then we shouldn't cut growing grass too. If its command, then we shouldn't edit nature in anyway. The law goes for everything not just hair.

  10. The true ishnaan is ishnaan with NAAM. ITs washing and cleaning your mind with the Naam. however i think you should have physical ishnaan before you do your simran because water improve blood circulation through entire body and wakes you up. This will allow you to focus better on naam simran.

But GOD came to rescue and healed me GOD, NAAM, SATGURU JI is above all this black magic thing. Infact all these powers are obtained from the GOD in first place but then they are used for wrong purposes for money, wealth, maya. Naam is like a mirror, if the naam is protecting you, all this jaadoo will come and reflect on the mirror and go back to the person who has done it.   13. bruv, i dont know about my previous lives but in this life i haven't done any good karams at all. Only sins and sins but when 1 great lord becomes merciful, even the sinners are saved. If the lord becomes merciful, the manmukh walks on the path. If the lord grants his grace, even a sinner is blessed with the dust of the Satguru's feet. i will do ardaas for you, you should do it yourself.   14. Sat SRI AKAL ***TO MODs, please dont move this thread to Gupt because i would like to confess my unlimited sins in front of the sangat****. Born into the family of sikhs, at the age of 8 an innocent kid got into masterbation when my elder cousin explain to me what sex was and masterbation etc..i tried it that time, must have find it enjoyable so carried on and on. I belong to sikh family my father kept full beard and no one cut hair or shave in my entire generation. At 15 i got into wrong crowd, start drinking then start smoking then got into drugs. I would be rude to everyone, i was maha ahankaari, i am still am but back then i would think i am the top man!!! I did not know anything about GOD, all i knew was that i belonged to sikh family, we werent suppose to cut hairs and we have 11 gurus. Thats about it!!! Sometimes i would say to my girlfriend, i dont believe in GOD. why believe in something that i dont see. Went out with lot of girls, cheated on them, break their hearts. Got rid of my hair and beard, hurt my family. To make things worster i would go get high and come home drugged up to hurt my parents more. I would make my mum cry a lot. I was only 18, i was regularly heavy marijuana smoker, there was point i even tried coke. One day, at night at amrit vela while i was asleep, i felt unlimited energy in my head (around the third eye), it felt like my head was going to blow up any second, there is no limit to how much power it was. it only lasted a few secs then i woke up scared. I left all drugs overnight, completly stopped talking to the wrong crowd. I dont know what happeneded but a person who did not anything about GOD, did not belive etc overnight i was so thirsty for GOD darshan. I was desperate to meet God. I left my hair and beard everything. I started reading SGGS ji translations to see what Guru Ji told us. Since then i have been trying to fight these 5 evils and meet my beloved husband lord. There are many times i come across "that GOD is merciful, once he becomes mericul even sinners are saved". i am a good example of this, all i have done in my life is sin and sin but still the unlimited forgiver forgived me. He forgive me in 1 sec. He lead me to the True Guru, now its my duty from here to fight these evils and win over the mind. I hope i defeat the 5 evils some day, so i can meet GOD some day That day will the best day of my life, after that i die whatever i dont care. But just for once i want to see him face to face:D i hope that comes true one day. That is my one wish. Sometimes i find it funny, its a joke really. the whole world is really a joke, we are just characters really, hes got the remote control, he does whatever he wishes to anytime. There was time when i was 2pac wanna be, and now i want to become dust of everyone feet. HAHA. I pray that all of us are united with our beloved LORD and we merge into him forever. Only love for him shall not go as a waste. Only marriage to him shall last forever. Dust of your feet forgive this paapi for my unlimited mistakes.

  17. Slandering of anyone. Slandering of a saint is much worster, if you slander a GOD's saint, even GOD would not save you unless that saint himself forgives you..sukhmani... Slandering is opposite of GOD, it is our ego that looks for weaknesses in others instead we should try look for other's strengths and compare it with our own weaknesses, this is the only way to become humble. it is our ego that makes us slander, if we just become lowest of the low, treat ourself as dust of everyone feet, consider ourselves as lowly of all, then we are seeing GOD in all.   18. True. Nindiya is opposite of GOD and is a serious dargahi crime. As maharaj ji mentions even if we do good things but take part in slander, it will lead us to hell and will destroy all those good deeds as well!

  21. Thanks for reminding us. and we are not true khalsa, till we fully defeat 5 evils, maya and realise our true essence. We are not true khalsa till we become true gurmukhs. We are not true gurmukhs till we are fully facing our inner guru instead of the evils. We are not true khalsa till we are jivan-mukt. That's why Guru Gobind Singh Ji gave status of any person who is true khalsa same as him. because once the person reaches such high levels spirituality there is truly no difference between him and God. that person then becomes living GOD on earth. A true khalsa such as our Guru's, panj pyaares etc heart becomes nirbhao (becomes fearless), nirvair (free of hatred), ajoone saibhang (becomes free of reincarnations), jap aad sach jugad sach hai bhee sach nanak hosee bee sach, (that personal then shall live forever and becomes eternal). That heart absorbs all the qualities of 1 God. We also have to remember that just taking the initiation does not make us a khalsa. IT is the start to the journey of becoming khalsa. When you take initiation, you promise to surrender yourself to the guru and GOD, practice gurbani, practicing defeating panj chors, remembering God at all times etc then you become a true gursikh because you are practing gurus instruction and then eventually under the grace of the Guru, you shall become a true gurmukh. We cant go to sachkhand till we become true khalsa. GOD lives in sachkhand, GOD's saints live in sachkhand, so how can we go there unless we become GOD-like?
  22. We dont even deserve to be in the category of animals. Animals live under pure divine law where as a human mind runs under the influence of 5 evils. We are nowhere near animals, our brain is worster than of reptilian's. Animals kill for food because they have to in order to survive where as humans kill for pleasure, fun and enjoyment. Our senses are being controlled by the panj chor. You have been given the ticket to have this human form so difficult to obtain. It is in this life where you are able to realise your existence and obtain freedom from these reincarnations. IF we just play, enjoy and die and not try our best to defeat 5 evils, serve the guru then its gone as a waste. Dont think you will be out of circle then, we will be born again. God knows when we going to get this human life again. So this is the chance, give it your best shot, its a game of life and death. Those who put effort in, GOD helps them. God does not help the ignorant. meaning of sikh is the servant of the true guru. A true sikh will serve the guru, follow his teachings and put them into practice. The true gursikh that folllows Guru's teaching, GOD himself relieves him out of the influence of maya and panj chors. That gursikh is then ferried across. Great Lord God works in mysterious ways. GOD talks to us everyday, he could send a message to us through our own bodies, through our friends, family, anywhere, on this website in a post. but do we listen to him? most of the times we don't...we just ignore and listen to our own EGO instead. For example yesterday GOD through my little young brother reminded me "IF you help others, GOD will help you". Because of Guru Ji's kirpa this moorakh was able to understand that it was HIM sending a message to me. GOD loves everyone equally. There is no one special to GOD. God is single-vision. GOD wants to help all of us but the question is Do we want to help ourselves?

By The Grace Of The True Guru: ਸਲੋਕ ॥ salok || Shalok: ਦਰਸਨ ਪਿਆਸੀ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਰਾਤਿ ਚਿਤਵਉ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਨੀਤ ॥ dharasan piaasee dhinas raath chithavo anadhin neeth || I am thirsty for the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan, day and night; I yearn for Him constantly, night and day. ਖੋਲ੍ਹ੍ਹਿ ਕਪਟ ਗੁਰਿ ਮੇਲੀਆ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਮੀਤ ॥੧॥ kholih kapatt gur maeleeaa naanak har sang meeth ||1|| Opening the door, O Nanak, the Guru has led me to meet with the Lord, my Friend. ||1|| ਛੰਤ ॥ shhanth || Chhant: ਸੁਣਿ ਯਾਰ ਹਮਾਰੇ ਸਜਣ ਇਕ ਕਰਉ ਬੇਨੰਤੀਆ ॥ sun yaar hamaarae sajan eik karo baenantheeaa || Listen, O my intimate friend - I have just one prayer to make. ਤਿਸੁ ਮੋਹਨ ਲਾਲ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਹਉ ਫਿਰਉ ਖੋਜੰਤੀਆ ॥ this mohan laal piaarae ho firo khojantheeaa || I have been wandering around, searching for that enticing, sweet Beloved. ਤਿਸੁ ਦਸਿ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਸਿਰੁ ਧਰੀ ਉਤਾਰੇ ਇਕ ਭੋਰੀ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੀਜੈ ॥ this dhas piaarae sir dhharee outhaarae eik bhoree dharasan dheejai || Whoever leads me to my Beloved - I would cut off my head and offer it to him, even if I were granted the Blessed Vision of His Darshan for just an instant. ਨੈਨ ਹਮਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਰੰਗ ਰੰਗਾਰੇ ਇਕੁ ਤਿਲੁ ਭੀ ਨਾ ਧੀਰੀਜੈ ॥ nain hamaarae pria rang rangaarae eik thil bhee naa dhheereejai || My eyes are drenched with the Love of my Beloved; without Him, I do not have even a moment's peace. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਿਉ ਮਨੁ ਲੀਨਾ ਜਿਉ ਜਲ ਮੀਨਾ ਚਾਤ੍ਰਿਕ ਜਿਵੈ ਤਿਸੰਤੀਆ ॥ prabh sio man leenaa jio jal meenaa chaathrik jivai thisantheeaa || My mind is attached to the Lord, like the fish to the water, and the rainbird, thirsty for the raindrops. ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਗਲੀ ਤਿਖਾ ਬੁਝੰਤੀਆ ॥੧॥ jan naanak gur pooraa paaeiaa sagalee thikhaa bujhantheeaa ||1|| Servant Nanak has found the Perfect Guru; his thirst is totally quenched. ||1|| ਯਾਰ ਵੇ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਹਭੇ ਸਖੀਆ ਮੂ ਕਹੀ ਨ ਜੇਹੀਆ ॥ yaar vae pria habhae sakheeaa moo kehee n jaeheeaa || O intimate friend, my Beloved has all these loving companions; I cannot compare to any of them. ਯਾਰ ਵੇ ਹਿਕ ਡੂੰ ਹਿਕਿ ਚਾੜੈ ਹਉ ਕਿਸੁ ਚਿਤੇਹੀਆ ॥ yaar vae hik ddoon hik chaarrai ho kis chithaeheeaa || O intimate friend, each of them is more beautiful than the others; who could consider me? ਹਿਕ ਦੂੰ ਹਿਕਿ ਚਾੜੇ ਅਨਿਕ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਨਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਭੋਗ ਬਿਲਾਸਾ ॥ hik dhoon hik chaarrae anik piaarae nith karadhae bhog bilaasaa || Each of them is more beautiful than the others; countless are His lovers, constantly enjoying bliss with Him. ਤਿਨਾ ਦੇਖਿ ਮਨਿ ਚਾਉ ਉਠੰਦਾ ਹਉ ਕਦਿ ਪਾਈ ਗੁਣਤਾਸਾ ॥ thinaa dhaekh man chaao outhandhaa ho kadh paaee gunathaasaa || Beholding them, desire wells up in my mind; when will I obtain the Lord, the treasure of virtue? ਜਿਨੀ ਮੈਡਾ ਲਾਲੁ ਰੀਝਾਇਆ ਹਉ ਤਿਸੁ ਆਗੈ ਮਨੁ ਡੇਂਹੀਆ ॥ jinee maiddaa laal reejhaaeiaa ho this aagai man ddaeneheeaa || I dedicate my mind to those who please and attract my Beloved. ਨਾਨਕੁ ਕਹੈ ਸੁਣਿ ਬਿਨਉ ਸੁਹਾਗਣਿ ਮੂ ਦਸਿ ਡਿਖਾ ਪਿਰੁ ਕੇਹੀਆ ॥੨॥ naanak kehai sun bino suhaagan moo dhas ddikhaa pir kaeheeaa ||2|| Says Nanak, hear my prayer, O happy soul-brides; tell me, what does my Husband Lord look like? ||2|| ਯਾਰ ਵੇ ਪਿਰੁ ਆਪਣ ਭਾਣਾ ਕਿਛੁ ਨੀਸੀ ਛੰਦਾ ॥ yaar vae pir aapan bhaanaa kishh neesee shhandhaa || O intimate friend, my Husband Lord does whatever He pleases; He is not dependent on anyone.
  24. Yes, He gives you that blessing himself in the form of Satguru on earth. That's why it says "EKONKAAR SATNAAM SATGUR PRASAD" so 1 GOD, TRUTH is his name, realised by the blessings of TRUTH-GURU. There is no difference between SAT-GURU and GOD himself. They are truly one yet the Satguru claims to be lowest of the low but thats his nimrata. Him and GOD are same and one. It is GOD that resides in SATGURU's body. so how can they be different?
