THE SIKH STORY: 1984 1 - BBC 1 are broadcasting a documentary on 1984 called THE SIKH STORY: 1984 and it will be shown on BBC 1 Sunday 10 January 2010 at 10.55pm. It is supposed to be about Operation Bluestar and events leading up to it. 2 - Tonight on Saturday 9 January 2010 the Sikh Channel 840 will be showing a preview at 8pm of this documentary that is coming on tomorrow night and interviewing the BBC people who have made it (Sonia Deol and the other person). 3- On Monday 11 January 2010, in the evening I think Sikh Channel are going to do another live discussion show about the documentary after its broadcast on Sunday night. Everyone who can should watch all these programmes and comment in this topic about them. I think all Sikhs are hoping the BBC documentary is not biased and it is the true accurate picture of what really happened in 1984 and not the typical Indian Government false propaganda version!

VJJK VJKF, I think everyone can agree that we need Gurbani (Guru's teachings) to find Naam within ourselves. Secondly, one veerji quite correctly identifies than naam-bani is the route to slavation, but does this mean we should then not bother learning shaster vidya?? or santhyia of Gurbani??? or KATHA? NO, it doesn't!!!!!!! Because, these were Guru Ji's teachings and we must follow them ALL to be a pooran gursikh, although i agree that naam-bani alone is enough for slavation, however we should try to follow all of Guru jis' Hukams rather then make excuses because then you might aswell start saying: baana is not necessary, wearing your kakkars is not necssary etc - these are the type of views that missionary type of scholars promoted, and ofcourse no offence intended to Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh Ji's views (who was very mahaan indeed) or his follower's. One mistake in the artice is that sant ranjit singh ji dadrian wale are not in their 27th year (ie 26 years old), they are definately 25 years old and just turned 25 this year. i have confirmed this before posting. These are exactly the tactics they use to get sangats support first by acting panthic then slowly they start to spread their venom to destroy sikhi. the ragi darshan did this for years and was only exposed recently, he was bought by the panth enemies from the start to do this. dal khalsa uk pretend to oppose rss, but at same time promote their views - hypocrits. panjab radio are just open lol. A more smaller example on our very own forum here is das_nimana (harjot "singh" brar) based in India who for much time acted panthic by trying to act like a supporter and follower of daljit singh bittu, but always tried to slowly confuse people by slowly introducing his venom until recently when he couldnt control his hate and views and was therefore exposed. same with jalandharsingh (kurtas) and harmandeal etc. These are the ways of the heretics.

Inder Singh Paajiiiiiiiiii, the "doctor" gurdeep jagbir is not just against dasam granth sahib, he wants to destroy the sikh panth!!! yesterday evening he did a live call in show (when they get their own people to call in) and openly supported the ragi and his views. the whole prgramme was about supporting the snake darshan ragi. dr gurdeep and jasvir of panjab radio are not just against dasam granth, they go many steps more, there is no word to explain their hate, they are only matched by kala afghana himself, or the singh sabha canada and the ragi. they are a disease in the panth and the biggest threat to sikhi in the uk. the doctor and jasvir openly always support and quote from the literature of singh sabha canada. they get all their news from rozana spokesman daily. if you look at singh sabha canada website, they even have a link to panjab radio at the bottom to show their close connections.

I think there's a big programme in southall gurdwara on Saturday for uk sangat to decide on course of action etc after the akand paat. anyone got more details?

Also, do you know if Sardar Simranjit Singh Mann has given out any solid statements about all of this in support of those who risked their lives, who became injured and shaheed bhai Darshan Singh? During the babboo maan 'ik baba nanak si' issue he made a statement to all main Punjabi media and papers throughout the world and it was very well highlighted and promoted by sad (amritsar). Just wish SS Mann would think more carefully about everything he does. he obviously has good intentions at heart but just seems to make many mistakes sometimes getting involved in things that he does not even need to get involved in. I think Sardar Mann should join with other sikh leaders like Sant ranjit singh dadrian wale (the "naujwaan" of only 25 years of age who have massive support of the common sikhs in villages and cities of India and has done immense powerful parchar) and baba baljit singh dadu sahib wale etc - if ss mann supports them, he would progress and it would help the Panth as well. Imagine if they worked together, and ALL sikhs and jathebandi's supported them and did not try to bring them down, it could be done - imagine it - Sant Dadrian Wale as Jathedar of Akal Thakat and SGPC, then Sardar Mann as Chief Minister of Punjab. Chief Minister would answer to the five jathedars of the thakats at Akal Thakat Sahib, and the jathedars would be accountable to the Khalsa Panth - Sarbat Khalsa!!! That state would become Khalistan in no time!

BSSF need to prove themselves yet, they are too new and made mistakes already which loads people have been talking about. I think Gagandeep is main person, may have good intentions, but they need to be careful in everything they do, Dont want to put anyone down, but mistakes have to be pointed out as well, one minute they may be doing something good now collecting funds for posters, but tomorrow they make make mistakes like the past and speak in issues there is no need to. I still support them if they do good like BOSS (who have never spoken without reason in issues and carried on with Sewa like Sikhi camp etc).
