:devil: wen I say that we need Sikh media & education system that time a very few people here pay attention ....... y ppl cryin today live with it now ....this is the govt. & media which is setting rules & education system for Sikh children you ppl dont pay attention to the root cause and why are people worried today here people are more keen in arranging rallies n stuff ... why dont ppl join hand during the peace time to set up some sikh media

Well .. from where I come from people dare not joke about Sikhs but after moving into Indian corporate word I feel that people here are more daring and they joke about Sardars on your face. Same thing happened today with me ...one of my ex-colleagues (in Indai now)tried to make fun of Sardars by sending some sardar jokes ... initailly I ignored as I was quite busy with the work but when I got some time and found out that he has also kept all his team in the loop, I decided to deal with it ..so here is the communication for 3 - 4 eMails which happened between us ...later one of his team mate stood up from his seat and started to clap over my replies and later shook hands with me saying that I am absolutely right...same approach we all have to adopt to gain back the lost image in the indian friend circles especially all sikh indians... I know how it feels when some of your colleagues take piss out of you by sharing a light joke and stressing on the word sardar and then every1 laughing ... Literal meaning of Sardar is leader so I am leading this small group towards the correction. I definitely do think over this subject at times although I dont find any of these jokes tasteful personally and try to imagine the origin of this maliceful language towards the whole community. Sanagat ji It is believed that people are confusing Sikhs with muslims and yeasterday morning someone tried to set Gurdwara Sahib property on fire. Japanese people are normally very friendly and helpful but this is an isolated incident which is infact very alarming. As not most of the legal Sangat dont know Japanese so its very hard to communicate with police. At the max. police has advised to another camera on the door where some tried to burn the news papers and sneak them inside the deewan hall through the locked door. I have been told that some of the carpet got burn and one side of the wall got blackened by the fire. I am finally back from India now to my work place after this short trip.. Well I am 100% sure I read this notice somewhere on the parkarma and most likely it was near the Baba Deep Singh Asthan.... I may be wrong in saying that it was written on a piece of marble but it was definitely mentioned on some kind of board or something... I have no clue of any jatha bashing you guys have discussed above but this missing written piece was the first thing I mentioned to my dad when I came back from Darbar Sahib that day... and also about the bullet marks My dad's opinion was that there is lot of RSS & indian administration influence so as a result these things disappeared

I remember that many years back when I visited darbar sahib, there used to a piece of marble stone of something next to Baba Deep Singh Ji's asthan in parkarma where it was mentioned that during operation blue star Indain military tank was not able to move ahead of that point..it got struck there or something but shockingly this historic marble piece is no more there and I was also not able to locate any bullet marks in parkarma of darbar sahib. :sady: Please correct me if I am wrong or this happened in some other location of darabar sahib parkarma..thank you Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa | Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh ||
